Anyone else reading the book? It's pretty good so far, but I'm a little worried that they spent so much of the first half on aliums, culminating in the revelation the Log Lady and the trailer park owner from FWWM were abducted together as children

-Lewis of the Lewis and Clark expedition was led to the land that would someday be Twin Peaks by Native Americans and ended up with the ring, which he kept with him until his suspicious death years later
-Dougie Mayford (the mayor's brother who died from having sex) was a Roswell MiB for many years, intimidating many from talking about UFOs
-The entire football team from Harry's senior year were in the Bookhouse Boys, that includes Hank Jennings and Jerry Horne, before they turned to more unsavory ways of life
-Before she came to America, Josie was a rich gangster running guns and prostitutes. She had to leave for America and marry Andrew because she killed her father to take it all for herself and got caught by the other gangsters.

go into it knowing that the continuity is wonky at best.
they rewrote the entire backstory for ed, nadine, hank and norma in a way that makes no sense. Norma's mom has a different name and dies before the start of the series, Norma and Hank marry while Ed is away on war, Hank has been working for jean renault most of his life even though he meets him for the first time during the series.
They also retconned Audrey's motivations for going to the bank but that doesen't outright contradict anything really.
That triggered my autism a bit but overall I enjoyed it quite a bit.
Bobby, Annie, Donna, James and other minor characters are never mentioned at all
