they are just Detolfs and the lights are a custom thing I made with $12/5m daylight white LED strips. I need to replace the LEDs on the left one though, they gave me warmer LEDs than I wanted and I didn't notice until they were next to my other ones.

Depends on your needs and how you display your figures. Detolfs are deep enough for 2-3 rows of figures, but your collection will be a clusterfuck if you actually put that many in there.

Suit the cabinet to it's contents and the rest of your furniture (which I guess somebody pointed out the latter thing). If you have a bunch of more earth tone figures you can go for a woodgrain cab like E, but D or C is going to require some very specialized contents to not look terrible. Actually, D will almost uniformly look terrible due to its window segmentation. You want a more open look so it's not cluttered; I wouldn't even want to put plates in D.

A and B are better fits but really lack a lot from a nice design perspective. Very staid and functional.

Thanks. The clear risers are a MUST if you want to fit more than 2 figures in a detolf shelf. Otherwise your figures in the front are just going to be blocking those in the back. Also important for the higher shelves where you need to elevate those in the back even more so you can see them from below.

IKEA Kallax 2x4 on its side. I'm not sure if they're rated to hold the weight but I've had it for almost a year now and its extremely stable, even on carpet.

Can you drill into the wall? You can /diy/ your wiring by running it behind the drywall if that's an option, otherwise just run it in those convenient wall grooves then paint over the cable. The hard part is finding an outlet.

the first edition(first print whatever) is apparently going to be numbered and the second printing wont be but everything else will be identical, pretty sure it was stated that every copy has already been assigned to someone within a few days of the preorder first going up though.
