What needs to happen is mods actually need to enforce the rules. As it is right now, the rules hardly get enforced in any way what so ever.

As it is right now (jii.moe/Nkis1tD0l.jpg) this person is a the sole "authority" for Cred Forums and he does nothing to help the site as he wants it all to be his personal hug box safe space (self admitted). You can see first hand examples of his bias all the time, in the fact he bans people for things that do not break the rules, but are just things he personally dislikes. You can also see him play clear favoritism. He will ban people for being "off topic" if they are saying something he dislikes, but if someone is replying to the person he banned and talking about the same "off topic" subject but is saying things the mod personally likes, then he is not even touched. Blatant double standards and personal bias. That type of action is directly against the rules themselves, as said by moot.

My suggestion to enforce providing hints, such as including the Japanese title within the image or giving away tertiary information instead of the direct source, would not only increase the fairness of our board's mantra (lurking and being knowledgeable would actually be applicable to previously untraceable crops, therefore allowing desirable people to find the source and join the conversation), but also limit unnecessary suffering of anons who would otherwise never find the source in question.
