So I am like 800 words into the Core2K deck and I am getting pretty specific words like "water service", "essay", "the four seasons", "sales floor", "traveling expenses", "vegetable store", "eraser", "passing an exam"...

Is it supposed to be like this?

I've seen these scratchy, handwritten Kanji where circles are drawn like pic related that I can't figure out, what exactly is this? The source is Japanese, not Korean or anything, and although I can slowly pick apart handwritten kanji in general through radicals and components I don't get this.

Is it some stylized or short form?

Why is the original so much better than the anime?

what were you expecting? the definitions may seem specific but kanji are just parts of the word and you'll see them again in others down the track

only needs two adjustments to be right:

This is another valid way to say the same thing.

The "that" before "Kaby Lake will start to be sold" is optional in this situation.
