Pretty much any major character beyond his part could beat Jonathan. Most have the advantage of spiritual manifestations with weird powers that he can't even see, at the least of things.

The story and the journey were relatively weak, IMO. The best parts of SDC were the characters and the character moments they all got eventually. The way Araki wrote to get there was iffy at best, and typical shonen at worst. The characters though, at least artistically speaking, were the greatest gift of SDC. No SDC? No Fujoshi investment into JoJo. No Fujo's in JoJo? Half of the art posted here and everywhere else will never exist and we will all left wanting.

has anyone else thought about who the most dangerous stand user would be if they could also use the power of THE WORLD?

In my opinion Okuyasu would be fucking lethal, only if he could stop time for 2-3 seconds he would literally be unstoppable. The only people that would give him some trouble is DIO and Jotaro.

okuyasu would already be one of the most dangerous stand users if he had a brain

the reason he never does anything cool in DIU is because his ability is too much for a shonen hero, the only way he can fight enemies is by literally killing them, like deleting their fucking heads

Kim Min Sun seems to be the strict dad-figure for the Koreans though, he directed Harvest 2 with the Koreans who did the Surface and Yukako 2 episode and that episode turned out pretty good. Honestly I'd say this episode will turn out decent, he seems to bring out the best in the failed Koreans.

Harvest pt. 2 looked way shittier than pt. 1. It might not have been as bad as RHCP pt. 1 or Quiet Life pt. 1, but it still looked "off" asit does when Koreans are too involved.
But really, if they have to use Koreans on some episodes, I don't mind it being this one. As long as they save the good animators for Highway Star and the final episodes, then it won't be too bad.

Yeah Harvest 2 had some wonky moments but was honestly quite decent, had a lot of good ones too. From the PV it looks like this episode won't be bad either, they're getting the Rock Paper Scissors bits right, and hey would you look at that, they're budgeting properly unlike SDC

I'm genuinely surprised they didn't fire Kim Eunsun, but to be fair Quiet Life 1 did have some nice close-up moments. I think what DP are trying to do with these kind of Korean-packed episodes is to bring out the best parts from each artist whilst still doing so cheaply. It's a pretty smart way of saving budget whilst also making a nice-looking episode.

With how they've handled Quiet Life 2 and both SHA parts, I seriously think they've learned from DIO's World and we'll get a full, properly-budgeted Bite the Dust arc.

Those eps had god-tier storyboarding, and since this ep is being directed by the strict-dad Korean Kim Min Sun this might actually be a competent episode.
I sort of doubt it'll be animated poorly, there'll be wonky shots of course but RHCP 1's artist did some pretty good animation, same with Yukako 2's and Kim Eunsun was quite good at close-ups. The Kim who's directing this ep made the worst bunch of Koreans churn out a good episode, think with the god-tier storyboarding of Soeijima this ep might be pretty good. The PV looks amazing too.

General rule of thumb is that if it's animated by a japanese person it'll be great, if it's animated by 1 Korean that isn't Cha or Shin it's going to be mediocre as fuck, if it's animated by a group of no-name Koreans under the supervision of Kim Min Sun it'll be a good episode.

Jolyne's no exception, she's notably more restrained and polite when hanging around with Weather Report and Annasui and so on.

If anything, she's one of my favorites because of how creative she is with her abilities. Everyone around her is fucking around with meteors and the weather and god power and she just rolls in with string and holds her own fantastically.

There's so much new content that they clearly thought about stuff and didn't want to just piggyback on Araki's ideas, but they got so into the weirdness that it just became a farce that directly retconned or contradicted previous events. Like the DIO in Stardust Crusaders was an imposter and the real DIO was never killed by Jotaro, Morioh grows legs and starts walking around, DIO ascends to demonhood by absorbing every Tusk in existence, Kira loses Killer Queen to Kars but blows up Lisa Lisa's bottom half and dances with her corpse, the Nijimura brothers have a sentient policeman and three dolphins as their stands, it's just... really bad.

I think the writer just got carried away.

Joji, the MC addresses him with a ton of respect, he's the protector of human life for some reason, and he takes more time from the spotlight than any other character. Hell, he's the one who finally saves the day and even makes a noble sacrifice in the end. He's the fucking OC to end all OCs.

JJBA at its core might have some weird stuff but at the end of the day it still follows a logical story with natural themes, with characters that are appropriately written.
