POTTERY Except the part the main character is a Joestar so obviously they're the hero anyway so the themes of fate Part 5 is trying to prove kind of fall apart. Especially when everyone's fate is to die just to have the most passive protagonist in the series come out on top. Rolling Stone was also a shitty epilogue that ruined any hype between Golden Experience Requiem and Giorno becoming the Passione Boss. The entire thing felt like nothing was accomplished, there was no satisfaction from the hero winning and an okay adventure on-par with how epic Stardust Crusaders was really just fell apart by the end

This is my Jojosona. I call him "Giorno". He's kind of like a Jojo but he's italian so he's named "Gio Gio" and he's actually Dio's son which is super cool. He has the power to give life to things and control them but if you touch the things he brings to life you get hurt and also if he touches you time slows down and you get hurt even more and also he can heal anybody who gets hurt (even himself) and also everybody likes him and he's really smart so he's always the first one to figure out mysteries and stuff. Also he is so special and unique that the arrow itself chose him to power up his stand and when his stand powers up it's like super invincible and you can't hurt it and it's the strongest stand in the whole show. He can negate any action you try to do and if he touches you you like die over and over forever he's so strong.

I don't think the rokakaka would take a random kid's life since Kaato wouldn't be sacrificing anything that way, unless the kid also meant something to her. It could also be her "sacrifice" was 15 years of her life and her relationship with her family, but I don't think we've seen the exchange take something abstract like that.

What epilogue ? Sleeping Slaves is the epilogue. After Giorno kills Diavolo and we get to see his multiple deaths take place, nothing really happens besides us seeing Giorno react to the weight of the journey sinking in and promise to carry on the arrow (thus concluding his journey) and that dumb moment with Mista and Trish. If there was only that, and it cut away to the final moment of Giorno on the throne, it would be truly shittily rushed. Sleeping Slaves exists as a validation of the journey.

The worst part about them is Chariot Requiem feeling inconsistent, but nothing terrible is actually lost. Sleeping Slaves is entirely correct and it sours the fuck out of the experience because it does the exact same thing the entire part does and explaining things outside of the story just to show off something that was already there. JoJo's was a weekly series Araki made up on the spot, there was no "he planned this all along" he probably came up with it as a last minute thing to push the ideas he had when writing the Part one last time and just threw out an ending. Whether planned from the start or not who knows

Everything is eerie and with those cartoony pastel colors because Morioh is fucking scary. It's a saccharine small city hiding terrifying serial killers and horrifying abilities.
Besides, the sky changes color plenty of times too. Hell, just look at last episode to see what I'm talking about. The moment Rohan beats Ken, the sky has a nice, blue color to it. The sky changes color depending on the mood just like everything else in JoJo. It's just that this time, the sky's default setting is "creepy disgusting yellow" to put the viewers on edge for whatever horrifying shit happens next.

I was entertained by Vento Aureo. Albeit, I never cared about any of the protagonists and I think the story could be sloppy at times just like the other Parts, but it was still fun. Sleeping Slaves being the linchpin of the themes you like was what ruined the Part for me because while I was entertained, there were nuances that I wasn't a fan of. To end the whole part on one of those nuances in a way that comes off as completely unnecessary after everything was said and done was the last straw
All JoJo Parts probably have some theme behind them that Araki based the whole story on. Good vs. Evil, Heritage, the safety of one's home, what it means to be a good father/family, learning to be a good person. Fucking whatever

It's less of him really being the focus of everything as is everything else is the focus and the story needing him to fill in the blanks. He's really an anti-protagonist in the most not appealing way possible. Even characters who don't have the spotlight all the time like Josuke and Johnny proved to be more interesting
When it comes to combining those traits that made Jonathan and Dio who they were, he really didn't come out as good as either of them. Jonathan was nice, but the focus was still squarely on him. Dio was great and entertaining, but Giorno is nowhere near as appealing and hammy as he was. Considering what Araki was going for, Jonathan's more passive traits could've been dropped for Giorno to be more abrasive and personable

Giorno is just not the same archetype as someone like the three JoJos you mentioned. VA is a story focused a lot on the side characters like Part 4 was because of Araki moving away from having the main JoJo do everything. Giorno is a planning character, the guy moves the pieces on a chessboard. It doesn’t make him less brave: he is the first one to risk his personal safety for the sake of finding a clue that will allow his team to live (Illuso, Soft Machine, White Album). It also doesn't make him less of a protagonist because, as said before, the story literally does not happen without Giorno. Whether you like or dislike this archetype is your preference, but it doesn’t make him less of a protagonist.

Yeah, because Phantom Blood was all about JoJo vs Dio and absolutely nothing else. Vento is way too different. Not just because Giorno is pretty much the opposite of a fighter that Jonathan was (being more like Dio) but because the story in itself has a lot more side characters to focus on

Yeah, no shit, Dio was an over-the-top larger than life supervillain and Giorno is a feminine heroic version of Dio that's meant to embody the idea that he and Jonathan were as one person. Dio's attitude is his and his alone to have, giving it to a character like Giorno would have been cheap and lazy (the equivalent of a Mary Sue OC).

I've said this before and I'll say it again: every single aspect of Giorno as a character is shaped by his inheritance from DIO and Jonathan, and the whole point of having him as DIO's son in the first place is to fit the whole "overcoming fate" thing that is all over Vento Aureo's characters. Especifically, that even the son of the Ultimate Evil can still rise above such shitty circumstances.
Took me a minute. Ships in the same part are actually easy to find, so long as the characters are popular enough to be drawn in the first place. It's the cross-part ships that are hard to find.
