I do believe quite a few were overjoyed about the second season annoucement.
But I really want those who haven't watched it since it aired 3 years ago, or those who didn't even watch it, to realize how truly lucky we are to get a follow-up to such a masterpiece, made by the same staff and studio that made it so good in the first place.
If you haven't already, give Uchoten Kazoku a watch or a rewatch even.
Gabriel Turner
I really don't get why it's so highly praised.
Easton Morales
that and we get to hear Mamiko Noto do her Benten voice once again in our lifetime. We have truly been blessed.
Evan Rogers
I wish all 8/10 anime were that good.
Mason Morgan
More Benten is always a good thing.

>Best episode right there. Definitely. This series had such wonderful visual presentation.
Joshua Allen
If the show had a single flaw, it was that it might have felt slightly incomplete, being an adaptation of the first novel in a series, so obviously some plot threads would not be resolved 100% and some deeper questions about certain character remained unanswered. That flaw is gone now, there's no excuse.
I'm really glad to have rewatched it.
Ryder James
Oh user, I've been staring at this promotional poster all week not believing that my dream is coming true. I can't wait until we find out when it airs.
Jordan Roberts
Let me guess, 7 is average to you.
KYS faggot.
Nathan Morgan
My nigga.
Jack Nguyen
Well that basically happens to anything that doesnt get a original ending and never gets a S2 or more, if the story is particulary long.
Adam Lopez
We all know Benten is best girl. But which Benten is your favorite?
I really like the casual T-shirt + cut off shorts one from episode 3.
Jace Perry
All of them
Jaxson Wilson
Not all shows have the same level of closure or the same amount of plot threads unresolved at the end of a season. There's plenty of reasons why some shows beg for a sequel more than others.
Carter Green
Uchouten Kazou is one of the most daydreaming series I've seen. It struck me kindly.
Kayden Richardson
you have a point.
Robert Phillips
The city of Kyoto better be paying them good money. I don't think it is humanly possible to watch this show without thinking "Damn, I want to go there."
That's really hard to answer. I love them all but if I had to rate them:
casual from ep 1 > kimono (from ep 13 as well) > school girl > not shown but the outfit from ep 11 > her white suit > her white dress > t-shirt > red dress
I think that's everything. Really, Benten is so fashionable. I hope she gets new outfits.
Angel Martinez
I love when a serie or just a character never is seen with the same clothes, or at least it shows to have a wide array of clothes than the same outfit he/she uses all the serie.
Gavin Hernandez
This was a beautiful episode.
Easton Hall
7 is average to everyone most people go with the A-F style of rating, but just use numbers instead. 7 = C
Connor White
Even when this really is the best episode in the series, my favorite scene is from episode 7, the short scene with the leaves and Benten. The one depicted in the first two pictures in Also I really liked the whole deal with Yasaburo's transformations.
Xavier Cook
I finished reading the first novel the other day and I'm about to start the second one. Hope it's good and Benten gets a lot of pagetime.
Kayden Rodriguez
It is nowhere near a masterpiece, average is more suitable for this.
Connor Bell
The whole jumping over the roofs sequence felt magical as fuck.
Asher Smith
I love how Yasaburo still acts like a guy when he's transformed. Like when he pulls up a seat at the bar or crosses his legs for a smoke.
Jaxson Jones
I found odd that they showed him drunk in the first episode. I always thought anime rarely depicted juvenile drinking or smoking. In that way Uchouten Kazou really amazed me with it's sincerity as a whole series.
Chase Green
>7 is average to everyone Don't judge everyone by your retard standards. I'd give s1 8/10 as well but still think it was amazing show and am looking forward to s2.
John Davis
>8/10 >not good
Elijah Garcia
It was also suprising that we got a kiss straight from the start, even if it was more cold than romantic.
Jack Clark
that kimono is my favorite. it looks like something a more delicate girl would wear, but then you remember mysterious benten's cunning personality and you can't help but be fixated on her and this loud contradiction.
David Wood
You cant see a character crossdressing like that nowdays withouth implying something, it reminds of old cartoon where that stuff was for the sake of the jokes.
Sebastian Cook
I have to choose the suit. It just actually depicts how serious business Benten is. Also her hair.
Christopher Young
I don't know, it didn't seem like a gag. Even when the Prince character that his mom played was a little funny.
Jaxon Roberts
I want more Kaisei
Logan Johnson
anyone have the artbook scanned?
Nicholas Cook
I want more Yajirou.
Kayden White
It's shit
Brayden Thompson
Is this season 2 nichijou
Jacob Morris
>KYS Go back to Youtube.
Tyler Ortiz
I thought it was great to show that for Benten's character. Dangerous and hard to understand with twisted feelings of love for Yasaburo (made even clearer when she talks about how she loves him so much that she wants to eat him).
Carson Walker
I always thought it was funny that most of his human disguises are girls.
Elijah Ortiz
Yeah 7 is only average to casuals, if you actually bother to rate then you should know exactly what 1-10 means and have a few shows that fall into every category.
The grade system doesn't work when it comes to art because in school(esp secondary) they literally tell you what to do so 70% is the average since most people don't try/know how to try. With art, while its really shouldn't be the case, most creators don't know what the fuck they are doing and end up winging it, or other detrimental aspects arise in regard to the general production out of the hands of the creator.
Easton Diaz
It wasnt a gag per se, they, being tanukis, clearly did it mainly for fun and sometimes to mess with humans and nothing more.
>Nichijou >S2
Sorry but nips have shit taste, S2 never.
Noah Anderson
How should the rate system work then?
Dylan Perez
1-10.
5 is average.
Ryder Harris
>Benten will never toy with you.
Aiden Thompson
I watched it like a week ago for the first time.
Benten is basically the best thing ever.
Nolan Martinez
For me it works like this
Going for 1-10 1=complete shit, it doesnt keep track of anything and nothing is really defined 2=Shit that tries to show a idea or premise in the worst way possible 3= It have a idea on what it is but it fails on its execution on everthing 4=It have a idea and is able to keep track of itself but the idea in itself is weak and doesnt developed it correctly 5=Avarage, using common tropes and cliches manage to present its idea in a common, and sometimes overused, way but it doesnt have nothing special 6=Usually the same as 5 but something like the setting (lets say a comedy in a futuristic setting) manage to help improve some of the common usual situations, but no much, enjoyable but forggetable 7= Good, it has a good idea, good development and execution of it, but some flaws doesnt allow it to shine fully 8=same as 7 but the flaws are minor this time, but there is some number of them 9=almost no flaws 10= Masterpiece, interesting idea, good execution and track on everthing with almost no flaw or simple flawless, creative way to show everthing and its content
When I say "idea" I mean something like the premise, setting or genre and subgenre of the thing. because no all fighting series are about the same stuff, some could be magical/super power school or simple something like a bunch of samurais killing eacht other with no magical stuff on it; or a comedy than can be a gag serie or somekind of satire/parody
Zachary Scott
>rating anime by a number
Liam Cook
anyone can take a bunch of shots out of context and put them in a cinegrid to make their shitty anime that was made to sell toys to pathetic otaku virgins look good
Sebastian Thompson
I liked it too, and how boyish his voice is. I was weirdly attracted to it, he is a qt in all forms.
William Bennett
What's your point? Anyone who's seen this series knows the visuals are suberb the entire time. I've never watched Naruto, but I know it's hated for the story rather than the directing and has some good animation. For all I know it COULD have good visuals.
Zachary Watson
This show was on my backlog for quite some time and only now I started watching because of the hype of new season.
Took me a while to understand what the show was about but overall it's amazing, I regret not having watched before.
Caleb Reyes
My otouto saw some official art for this and expressed interest in watching it with me. Is it appropriate for a twelve-year-old?
Justin Morgan
Yes, it's about familial love and has a lot of fun fantasy in it. Though, there is a lot of talk about the main characters being cooked and eaten.
Angel Long
Yeah, I'd say it's perfect for a kid. It's one of those shows for everyone in a family to get into it.
Asher Jenkins
The last three or so EPs of the anime were really subpar honestly. I wish it had been a 24 eps cour from the beginning.
Parker Phillips
I think it would be fine. It might be considered PG-13 at times, what with Akadama-sensei kidnapping and perving over Benten. Instead of thinking of it in terms of age think about if it's something he'd be okay with watching. Not everyone is the same.
Zachary Baker
>it wasnt good >rates 8/10
Dominic Thomas
That naruto cinegrid doesn't even look good though.
Jackson Foster
It looks like they put an imodicum of effort into the digital color but it still looks bad as everything stands out as clearly being a model.
