They're in normal font. Also, crucially, they have a black fill and white outline, rather than the reverse as it is here. The text detailing each level is horizontal, so I'd have though it'd be the easiest thing in the world to typeset, but I guess the typesetter was too proud of all the redrawing he did.

Also, these scans are a lot brighter than the originals, which are very dark and muted. I guess that was interpreted as poor quality scans in the cleaning process.

Don't bother, only four chapters are translated and three of those four chapters were an extremely poor job.
