I'm a 27 years old who watched it with his grillfriend and it reduced us into a blushing giggling retards because how cute and pure she was.

The anime was a decent adaptation, but it simplified the characters a lot and didn't include the epilogue. It also cut what would have been the start of one of longstanding mysteries of the series.

Aldebaran is the most confusing character in the series, handily throwing a wrench in every theory out there. It seems obvious that Subaru was the only one isekai'd by Satella, who apparently loves him, but Al was also isekai'd and has a Satella-related scene in one of the sidestories. He's also got a timewarping Authority and seems to have a scent that Rem picks up on, making it possible that he's Pride and not Subaru.
Subaru's dad, who he always tried to be like.

So basically every relationship boils down to that or something? What are your building blocks for a good relationship?

He did save her life and help her get over her inferiority complex and self-loathing, along with little things.

That's why is manipulative they want you to love her, the confession wasn't nice if you have in mind that she knows that Subaru is in a frail state and she also knows that he loves Emilia.

Well, no two people have exactly the same Authority. The Witch of Wrath and the Bishop of Wrath have completely different powers. However, sometimes the powers are very similar.

In this case, Al actually does have something like Return by Death. People call it "Victim in the Zone", because that's the name of the Chapter in which it's revealed and it involves a Victim and a Zone. He seems to be able to consciously use it at the start of fights, but he might not have complete control over it. Sometimes he's the guy who goes through timeloops and remembers every death, and sometimes it's the other guy who is caught in an inescapable loop.

And yes, by "isekai'd" I mean Aldebaran is Japanese.

Even without the pretty stuff, it would still get across. And if I hated corny lines I would stop watching a lot of anime, or have drop;ed this shit on the first episode because every other line out of Subaru's mouth is corny shit.

Because he was such in a frail state was the reason she was compelled to confess to him in the first place. Just because her declaring her love to Subaru correlated to what he needed to hear makes it overall better.

If you thought that was manipulative, you just need to read the scene in which she pries a confession from Subaru. Rem is extremely manipulative, and I won't argue with anyone on that point. If the anime actually showed that properly, lots of people would have a very different impression of her character.
Authorities are tied to the Sins, or their Witch Factors as I've seen it translated, and seem almost parasitic in nature. Those who use them eventually develop a madness centered around their Sin, as it seems to feed upon their host whenever they're used. They don't originally come from the Witch, but the Witches were the first ones who used them. It's not clear where they originally came from.

For whatever reason, the powers each person receives seems to reflect a more personal nature of their Sin. Regulus, the Bishop of Greed, has a completely different power than Echidna, the Witch of Greed. Regulus is some autistic asshole who doesn't seem to like change much and doesn't want to change, so he's got "Stillness of an object's time" as his Authority. No external power has any effect on him, so he's invulnerable and able to cut through anything because nothing can slow him down.

On the other hand, Echidna is extremely curious and her Greed is for knowledge, so her powers seem like they're mostly focused on information mining. She's the creator of the original Book of Wisdom which was able to read the world's memory, pretty much being able to tell you everything about anything, and is what the Gospels were copied from.
