There's a bunch of in-story reasons why it makes sense, but there's also a thematic one.

Blackbeard is on some level based on the Dattatreya, a three faced Hindu deity that is draw in a way very similar to the outline of blackbeards flag.

Dattatreya is actually a combination of three separate Hindu deities: Brahma the creator, Vishnu the preserver and Shiva the destroyer.

Right now blackbeard has a paramecia that lets him destroy anything (guragura) and a logia that lets him preserve everything in his black hole (yamiyami). To round this out he'll have a zoan that lets him recover from (nearly) everything with the phoenix fruit. It's a different mythological concept, but there's also a color theme where you have white guragura (heaven), black yamiyami (the underworld) and blue phoenix, which is the best color to represent earth in a world that is nearly 100% water outside of small islands everywhere

I'm an older timer following the manga. I just thought the Sanji/Chopper/Shirahoshi moment was extra hilarious in the anime.

Also when I read the manga, I missed out on small nuances, for example after the timeskip, Luffy can activate Gear 2nd in the link of an eye by folding out his arm fast. Before this he had to spend several seconds pumping with his legs.
The anime seems to be a lot better at portraying such differences.

Sanji was also fighting in an injured body and this was mentioned twice before the fight.

Also his leg was fractured yes. But even with an injured body and a fractured leg he was still parrying Vergo's attacks and blocking with the same leg. He said "If the fight had carried on "like that"....." We don't even know if Sanji would've lost.

In thriller bark this exact same thing happened with Zoro and Ryuma. Zoro and Ryuma were clashing equally and zoro said "If this carries on any longer then my swords will break" and Zoro still won in the end. I don't know what would have happened but a fractured leg does not equal a loss when Sanji was still fighting and the injury was not mentioned more than once afterwards. Sanji ran and walked just fine after, he used skywalk to save g5 soldiers, he kicked g5 soldiers to safety and he kicked kinemon's shinokuni covering. If you say Vergo was fine after the fight, then so was Sanji.

Thing was, Ace knew h wasn't PK material, and knew he didn't deserve to be PK. Whitebeard was just too senile/stubborn to realize that when he took Ace in he effectively snuffed out the boys desire to be anything greater than one of his fuccbois. I think one of the reasons Oda killed Ace was because Whitebeard is such a core part of his character that without Whitebeard Ace loses most of his purpose within the story. It would have been interesting to see what direction Oda would have taken Ace's character had he lived, but I guess he didn't want to deal with having to write a muh revenge subplot for Ace going forward into Pt. 2. In general I think its a good thing Ace did, as it led to character growth on Luffy's part and the establishment of Akainu as a major antagonist

He ultimately gave away an artifact (straw hat) and a devil fruit (gomu) to the same character, then went on and became a yonko himself. So all this attention is drawn to him, so obviously he's #1 target for anyone seriously aiming for Raftel, the gatekeeper basically. But if someone kills him he already gave away the stuff that's needed, so he gets a last laugh.

This is where FATE intervenes. He'll somehow be responsible for driving BM and Kaidou against each other, taking them both out in the process. Oda has (softly) confirmed that Yonkou will be dealt with in unique ways that deviate from the way the SH's have dealt with antagonistic leaders before. I don't have an idea of what its going to be, but the SH groups in Wano and Whole Cake are going to do things that will be the ruination of both Yonkou's empires. Think more along the lines of sabotage, as opposed to the direct guerilla warfrare they've been engaging enemies with for the last decade and then some. The SH's enemies this time aren't even the Yonkou, not really. Their enemies are the territories themselves, the empires each Yonkou have built up around themselves. Destroy the empires (somehow) and you've effectively "beaten" a Yonkou. This was kind of sort of hinted at much earlier in Fisman island, when Tamago reminds Big Mam that their supply fleet is in need of funds. Its clear that damaging a Yonkou's property extensively hurts them just as much as a punch in the face would

I don't even see that. I mean with how this arc is set up, the only way the SH can get out of this alive is by coming to some agreement with BM. I'm almost 100% sure that they can't defeat BM and her crew without ass pulls out the ass(and I mean on some FT type shit). So we can pretty much count that out the way. They can't grab sanji and escape island. Destroying shit on her island and defeating a few henchmen doesn't matter if you can't take out the captain and would only make things worse. Plus even if they needed money for more boats, BM doesn't really seem to care about money or really need it. And how would they be able to destroy all those islands? I mean unlike Moria who subordinates wasn't there willing, she let's everyone chose. So all luffy would be doing is destroying properties of innocent people.

I think the NW marked the beginning of Oda's new narrative process. The SH's havent singlehandedly solved a problem since FI. Punk Hazard saw them working with a roughshod Marine unit led by Smoker, who in some way was as instrumental in stopping Vergo and Ceaser as Luffy and Law were. Dressrosa saw the introduction of the SH fleet, and half the fights were won (or won with the help of) these newly introduced characters. And in Zou the conflict ended before the SH's even got there! It clear to me that Oda has decided he isn't going to have the SH's just show up and solve everything anymore. Allies, external events bigger than the crew and fate; these are the elements that will win the battles going forward. The SH's will still fight of course, but the world has become much, much bigger than them now. An dwhilst they are still instrumental in resolving conflict, it seems the days where the SH's conclusively bring battles to an end all by themselves are long gone.

Basically everything has a will, a "haki" so to speak. This is why some people can hear the voice of all things. It is a certain kind of emperor's haki that lets them interact with everyone's haki. This also explains why Luffy turns enemies into allies so often. He interacts with their haki.

Oh and zoro isn't fighting kaido. That's why oda is bringing marco. It's nine supernova there so im guessing other then luffy the rest will help fight the calamities..

He's stated to be the strongest man in the world and to be basically immortal of course it would be weird if Luffy just punched him really hard to end it. That would basically mean that Luffy is the strongest being on earth and Kaidou is not the last opponent. But it doesn't mean that Luffy is not gonna kick the ass of Big Mom.
