>body swapping
>non-H

Fucking boring. Why do nips have such shit taste?

Anything's better than being trapped in a video game. Much less a fantasy mmo video game.

so does she jack off and does he jiggle his anime tiddies?

>so does she jack off
No
>and does he jiggle his anime tiddies?
Yes, multiple times

Bullshit. That's the first thing I would do if I were suddenly a guy.

You're a shitposter, Mitsuha is pure.

i think i'd probably stick something up my butt to see what's so great about prostate stimulation.

...

I didn't know it was based on a novel.

I honestly despise the idea that a bunch of people who have never heard Shinkai's name before is jumping on the train that he's the "next Miyazaki". Unlike Shinkai, Miyazaki has much more consistently good (except maybe when it comes to endings). Even early Miyazaki was great. I remember a time when I loved the Lupin '71 series over the others before I ever knew he was connected with it.

I'll admit I haven't seen KnNw yet and of course won't say that the movie isn't actually good, but to me it still feels more like Shinkai got lucky.

The claim that he could be the next Miyazaki is nothing new. Shinkai has been a name to follow ever since Hoshi no Koe (2002). And let's face it, no other anime director creates films with the same wide appeal as Miyazaki. The BBC article is right on that account.

Arent the BBC mad at japan for not banning muh loli comics

is a boy and a girl falling down endless stairs at the same time to swap bodies going to be the next trend? when they reach the bottom they get hit by a truck and travel to a new world.

BD when

The British Broadcasting Corp. is not a single-minded tumblrina.

Yeah, it's a multiple tentacles of darkness and tumbrinas who is losing a lot of its credibility among British citizens so they are appealing to foreigners by spreading their coverage.

>P-Please like us, b-burgers.W-We are n-neutral.
What a bunch of cunts and cucks.

>article starts with box office numbers
Fuck off with this shit, Avatar made a truckload of money and I still disliked it

I'm only interested in this because I love RADWIMPS. Still better than more isekai, anyway.

>I still disliked it
Yeah, but, other people exist.

It was a pretty tech demo but it was a shitty movie
Like Titanic

>BBC
Clickbait bullshit. Don't give this faggot leftist propaganda machine the shekels they want.

...

If I were body swapped, first thing I'd do is violate my asshole. Because it's not my ass, and when I go back to my real body I'll still be an ass virgin.

>put shit on TV
>close channel because nobody is watching
>introduce TV License to stream from iPlayer

FULL DAMAGE CONTROL

Because it fits the trans narrative
Good goys

BDrip when?

People already got their eyes set on Shinkai back way before Kimi no Na Wa, and not just because he's the 'next Miyazaki'. Shinkai is his own thing.

For actual sauce, this article is released April this year in the Electronic Journal of Contemporary Japanese Studies, way before anyone predicted Your Name's success
japanesestudies.org.uk/ejcjs/vol16/iss1/kimura.html

>people
Keit-ai goes global
we did it Cred Forums!

Really? How disappointing.

Author was probably a weaboo who jerked off to 5cm/s while crying

Shinkais backgrounds always surprise me.

I wish there was a screening of this in my country, but there isn't. It's a bloody headache.

When will it hit western theaters?

is it bad that body swap doesn't make me think of anything other than ero-manga?

>said one Twitter user.
Jesus christ.

Never.

Quality journalism. Only the best from the world-renown BBC.

At least this tory governemnt is consistently cutting their funding by freezing the licence fee. Plus no one under 30 pays for it anyway.

BDs when?
I feel like they might take too long to put them out and the hype might die by then.
Even if it's a year down the line, they really should start pushing out BD pre-orders so they can hook people and keep them hook through the whole year. It's a huge hit, obviously, but still seems like a silly move to hold out on presenting the BDs.

If undubbed Ghibli films can be aired in Arthouse theaters, then so can this.

Clickbait + poorly-paid interns is the only way the news business still makes money

>6. Hope for the next generation of mainstream Japanese animation

But that's a picture of keit-ai...

The BBC is state funded

The TV License is so weird to me like if I have a TV in my room purely for my PC they'll still find a way to say I need to pay for a License it's so bizarre

>announced for 85 countries
>5 years to get there

It's even worse here in Denmark, I have to pay license if I have any device capable of going online because I MIGHT use their website.

If you don't watch TV you do not have to pay. It's just the cunts they pay to do enforcement are provate sector and on quotas so they try to bullshit you.

That's how they try to spin it here like it'd be almost impossible for me to prove that I would use a television purely for video games so I think most people just buckle because it's easier

which is a shame because British TV is garbage anyway. the only good BBC series from the past few years was Flowers.

Do they talk about how she dies in the end?

Here they just said fuckit and rebranded it to a "media" license, it is common for students like me to just not pay.

Probably costs more than it's ever worth to enforce.

Hell yeah Kimi no na wa just save this decade its miles better than everything and its on par with Spirited Away and Totoro. Otakushit BTFO hard Normie win.

So is CNN.

Clinton under the table donations doesn't count as state founded.

>tfw saw it at the world premiere months before japan
>tfw was shitposting about it before the credits finished rolling
Truly I have made it.

I'm sure Clinton greases Jeff Zucker's palms but they are literally funded by the US government to promote and create stories they like.

Sage for offtopic.

BBC shit taste

>Meanwhile KyoAnus can only hope for an exposure like this

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

It saved the reputation of Anime.

How long before they find a doujin of it and think it's official material?

(you)

Assuming that you're actually getting back to your old body is a rookie mistake. For all you know, the clause was "this bodyswap is temporary unless seal(on asshole) is broken" Now you're stuck in an anal slut body.

...

It'll definitely have a limited release in USA before new year if Shinkai/Toho are hoping for an academy nomination. And considering how disappointing this year has been in animation, they might actually get it.

The only train they're willing to ride and wreck it against our societies is the LGBT propaganda

Is there a cute japanese girl here that would body swap with me so that I could actually fucking watch that movie? FUCKING BD WHEN?!

I think you forget the part where fags from academy don't even watch it and vote some Pixar/Disney movie because they were on it with their kids

wut really? Here in norway I'm pretty sure you only pay for license if you have access to tv signals in some way like analog cable or satelite or something. If they're going to charge me for having technical access to their internet stream shit i'm going to go fucking berserk

The law is really unclear and it's easy to exploit people for not understanding the law. it's just dumb. I don't pay it and I would argue not to have to because I don't watch television.

>Otaku bait is outclassing ghibli

miyazaki on suicide watch

Both are shit. Get over your fucking self. Then again, you clicked on a thread about someone praising the BBC as if BBC is quality controlling every article someone puts up.

This will never be a classic though.

It was only good for the visuals. There's literally nothing to the movie other than boy meets girl.

youtube.com/watch?v=30nfka8J8Y0

...

I liked the horror edit more than the actual movie.

>BBC's opinion mattering at all

I'm fucking healed.
>you'll never drink your gf's fermented spit sake

You know it's just click-bait right? every article is and none of it is meant to push a coherent organized agenda. But yeah the UK bans loli as one of three countries. You can't expect state funded news outlets to advocate against the law. Also you know it's clickbait since the headline is ambiguous.

big black ****

But What about the history of AU exchanging phone numbers?

It will never find a way.

>drinking advertising koolaid and thinking it's a masterpiece when it's just another run of the mill Shinkai romance movie

I bet you liked 5 cm of crap too.

Then we have to continue posting it until it is a thing.

BIG

Sure, we all know the drill

What hilarious is that most guys don't bother with this, either because they think it must be gay or legitimately don't know. Prostate orgasms are nothing like regular ones, I can only imagine it's like what g-spot cuming feels like for women.

I watched in theatre and let me tell you, it's wonderful and definitely the best of Shinkai so far. And your reference to 5cm pretty much confirms that you're either ignorant as fuck or just have no idea what you're talking about, or even both, since Your Name and 5cm hardly have any similarity to begin with. Just stop shitposting unless you want to keep embarrassing yourself

Kimi no na Wa manages to hit some elements of Miyazaki's mainstream appeal that Shinkai's other movies do not. While Shinkai has always been adored for his visuals and subtle storytelling, Your Name combines it with the whimsy and expressive character animation that made Miyazaki so famous in the first place. They are very different directors, but this movie isn't exactly Shinkai's norm.

Let's face it - Garden of Words and 5cm Per Second were beautiful, but boring. They lacked a strong central plot. You can't say that about Your Name.

I kind of get it. If this movie makes it big internationally, we might be seeing more anime movies blowing up in the US without the need for the Ghibli label.

I actually think girls in their early twenties are better looking than girls in their late teens. They have been more aquainted with their body so it looks better, they work more out and they learn how to apply make up. As long as they haven't become fat, they're usually more attractive.

Trust me, I'm a master of ephebophilia.

You know, he nailed the look of braless, teenage boobs well. They're not massive or too round like most anime makes them out to be.

Thats either amazing bait or you are the biggest retard known to man

>anime movies blowing up in the US without the need for the Ghibli label
what other movies are good except the ghibli ones though? Wolf Children maybe, but it's furry. Shinkai's other works?

How the hell do you know that

BIG

chaturbate.
On a serious note, anime is mostly made to pander to otaku, so the breasts look like balloons so they appeal more to male virgins.

That's what Nyaruko did immediately after bodyswapping.

If you can't even suss out that most of his movies revolve around gaudy relationship drama aka "romance", it's no wonder you think Kimi No Na is "wonderful". For the rest of us who aren't swayed merely by visuals, the character and plot development is always woefully lacking in his works.

That unrealistic, creepy and exaggerated shape of boobs so often depicted in anime is perhaps the single most cringe thing I despise of anime

Satoshi Kon's movies. ;_;7 Mamoru Hosoda is due for another movie soon too.
Having them growing up.

It's because sticking shit up your ass feels wrong.
Like, there's something inherently wrong with the idea in my mind.

You still haven't stated a single convincing proof that you've really watched the movie and hence know what you're talking about. But then again, Your Name is definitely the best of Shinkai and he's excelled his past works with this one. For that development things you mentioned; well he could've done better for character development part but it's by no means 'woefully lacking', and plot development is absolutely thrilling and well executed

...

The girl's sister walks in on him jiggling dem tatas every morning he's in her body. Cue "Mitsuha, you really enjoy feeling yourself up, don't you?" and "EHHHHHH?"

Implying he's not a literal faggot

Oh and one more thing. I supposed you don't really understand what 'gaudy' means, if you're applying it to ALL of his past works. Relationships in Garden of Words, for example, is not gaudy at all

>not tearing up when she looks at her hand
Must suck to be so soulless, user.

Sure. Just make her a Vampire with 200 years, better now?
Really, even I don't like lolis but to a find it a crime to draw it IS retarded.
Why they don't focus on 3D?
The child in question will suffer, NOT A FUCKING DRAWING.

I've done it. It was so intense that I never did it again. I sealed it away out of fear of it's incredible power.

asahi.com/ajw/articles/AJ201609270048.html

>Director Mamoru Hosoda hopes to surpass anime legend Miyazaki

>Hosoda is hopeful for the future of Japan's animation industry despite the fact that more and more animators rely on computer graphics to polish their work.

Hosoda, ma boi.

>Your Name combines it with the whimsy and expressive character animation that made Miyazaki so famous in the first place.

That's because former Ghibli staff worked as animators for this film.

I've been sicking m finger up my ass near every shower since I was 10 and have never orgasmed from it.

This BBC article is pure fucking horrible, getting even a basic fact wrong. The movie is NOT based on a novel

I believe it. Shinkai's former characters look exceptionally bland in comparison. Shinkai/CoMix scenery with the character animation of Ghibli is a winning combination.

>with the character animation of Ghibli
Character animation? What about character substance? I don't care for sakuga.

Wait, there's a camrip?

The character design was done by Tanaka Masayoshi, highly credited for making anime design that are acceptable for both otaku and normies

Yeah.

where I can find it?

Same place as usual

post the one where she was touching her tits while crying.

I streamed it through some shitty anime app on my phone. You're probably better off watching it on a smaller screen anyway since the resolution is so poor.

"Character animation" exists to convey personality and emotion, i.e. part of a character's substance. It's not necessarily the same thing as sakuga.

why you watch camrip in the first place...

>not watching it for the visuals alone

The hype is too big.

>Garden of Words and 5cm Per Second were beautiful, but boring.
No they were too adult for people to care about, specially Japan. Your Name is pandering hard to normalfaggots like most of Miyazaki stuff did (well aside from TWR and Mononoke). Still it has a lot of things I expect in a Shinkai movies and that's great, people need to shown his style. You know best career move for Shinkai would be to make his next movie even more accessible now that he has Japan's attention.

>Gintama
>on 3rd and 5th place

why MAL have shit taste?

Not the BBC I was hoping for

CuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

Does japan have an impact crater? Seems too big for a volcano.

Oh, I understand now. Sorry. Good to know.

The setting is mostly fictional except for few spots. That creator is definitely not there, though they refer to Hida of Gifu Prefecture in the movie

You've been doing it wrong then. You have to poke and rub the lump at the front fairly vigorously. But if you pull if off you will know.

Subs when

Camrip or a few months.

BBC is good at baiting.

September 7th.
nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=847876
They probably leaked a DVD screener on purpose to avoid a camrip version getting loose. It's worked pretty well, getting #1 on MAL and making people shill the movie.

A camrip would've ruined the whole experience, and you'd still want to watch the BD after watching the DVD screener, so win win I guess.

I excpected some click bait about how japs like bodyswap because they are NEET hikikomori virgins or whatever.

Also,
>all these Cred Forumscucks getting triggered by BBC

That isnt even an accusatory article. Its asking the question "why" and then goes on to explain the various cultural reasons as to why not.

"shocking"
"material"

Keep telling yourself that mate

>body-swapping

not gonna bother

>tfw watched the DVD screener
>tfw I feel bad cause the quality is shit specially for something this greatly animated

While the romance story is a bit trite the setting and artwork is really great. This truly is a BD Anime.

I'm waiting for the BD release considering how everyone's been singing praises about animation and art in this show, regardless of the plot. The only problem with this is that by the time it comes out there won't be anyone left to discuss it with.

>tfw not once did they checked the calendar and noticed something was off

BDs aren't coming out until July next year afaik. Good luck not getting spoiled for that long.
I'd just watch the DVD screener and rewatch it later if I were you.

>they lived each other lives like they were living in a dream
I just don't get why people complain about this all the time. The movie had a lot of shortcomings, especially the time travel paradox, but the calendar thing was not one of them.

>Mamoru Hosoda is due for another movie soon too.
>3 years between each movie for the last decade
>last movie was last year
Gotta wait until 2018.

>Shinkai movie actually had a good ending
Those moments where it looked like he was pulling another 5 cm/s almost made me lose it. Best Shinkai film.

>they were too adult
yes, they don't have the appeal of kimi, but they were boring as fuck too

The stairs? Man I was almost killing myself when it looked like he won't say anything.

>two years
>not soon
Listen here, sonny.

Promotional stuff and announcements will probably start coming out in early 2017. That's soon enough for me.

Alright grandpa, hope you live long enough to watch it.

The stairs and the scenes before where they passed by each other often, in particular the one during winter where they were a few feet away and both turned around before leaving.

>another movie that's being overrated and will be forgotten soon

I'm in Tokyo right now and I went to see this the second day it came out. It's popular because it has "good music" and teenagers have nothing better to do. There are tons of other shit movies that make lots of money here too, including tons of shit love drama bs.

We go through this cycle every time Shinkai makes a new movie, you should be used to it by now.

>"Hope for the next generation of mainstream Japanese animation"
Movie and made by industry veterans.

Is the plot summary real? How would you not notice the technology changes, the news being years behind, the dates?!

I just finished watching it and it's all spot on. Chalk it up to stupid teenagers.

Why don't you watch the movie.

>why don't you just watch a shitty camrip

Not them, but
>not waiting for the BD
>settling for shit quality

The movie doesnt explain shit.

>The movie doesnt explain shit.
>Why don't you rewatch the movie.

The movie doesnt explain how they did not notice the difference in tech or time. It was all "Just a Dream" or some other mumbo jumbo they had no time to explain because muh love story is more important.

They made it pretty obvious they had trouble remembering things after waking up. Also, they showed the cell phone entries going missing at points. Also, I watched it like a couple weeks ago so I don't remember, but I think it was only like a year difference.

But most of all, who gives a fuck? It's a movie. People are stupid. Movies are stupid. You're stupid.

The people complaining about it are more autistic than stupid though.

3 years difference, that's a huge difference brah.

not when you're older than 20 years old.

In terms of technology it's a huge gap. 3 years ago Japs still used flips phones for the most part while today they use Smartphones. And even if she used a smartphone the phone would be pretty archaic compared to what we have now.

If I was in the home of a country girl from three years ago I will notice that pretty fast.

3 years difference isn't enough to notice any technology, plus one of them was living in the fucking middle of nowhere. Plus the whole "Like a dream" thing - They can't notice or remember everything. They were probably too distracted and busy trying to not look completely awkward.

Go back to Cred Forums plz, they're the only ones autistic enough to notice.

When you're older than 20 without being a shut-in sperg, you have the minimum intelligence to be aware of the most important events and news happening around you, and would notice if you've been sleeping for more one year.

Yeah, but you're forgetting to add in bullshit spiritual magic to the mix. And why are you still trying to analyze a movie meant for teens. The people I know really into the movie are like in middle school. Everyone else just likes the music 'cause it's radwimps.

>They made it pretty obvious they had trouble remembering things after waking up.
are you even trying?

>3 years ago Japs still used flips phones for the most part while today they use Smartphones.
Lemme guess... You're using anime as your source for that, aren't you?

>And even if she used a smartphone the phone would be pretty archaic compared to what we have now.
>If I was in the home of a country girl from three years ago I will notice that pretty fast.
Mitsuha's family doesn't have THAT much money you dumbass. It's why they live out in the sticks in the first place. Taki chalked it up to Mitsuha's family's income.

We've had this thread so many times, and the same issues get taken up each time. Don't you guys even get tired? Why don't you just watch the movie?

Just got around to watching it.

Good movie, the third act faltered a little after how great the first 2 were, and the will they/won't they shit at the end started to get tiring.

>and the will they/won't they shit at the end started to get tiring
Yeah, I agree with that. I had to take a piss in the movie theater and that shit angered me like no other.

So it is a love story in 3 arcs just like B5C. Can't he fucking go outside of his comfort zone just for once?

>complaining about the time shit
>when this shot exists
WHY. WHY DO THIS? It's raining. There's no point in wiping away tears. Not only that, but it's raining so hard that your sleeves will be wet anyway. So all he's doing is smearing water over his face.

I want to find the dumb fuck who storyboarded this shot, and kick him in the fucking dick.

Can't you just watch the movie for once?

kys plz.

It's vertical rain, so it won't get in his eyes

>i-it's only popular cuz normalfag music
>muh dumb teenagers

Fuck off already.

Tears have salt and irritate the eyes, he's actually making this better with his wet hands.

Can you please just go be omega-autistic somewhere else?

I'm in Japan. Are you?
>cry moar

I'm sorry you've never had any experience wiping your face in the rain.

I don't know what the fuck is wrong with your tears, but you do realise your eyes are bathing in that stuff all fucking day, right?

I watched it once 12 years ago and it's enough I think.

>I'm in Japan.
Nobody cares.

You responded. You obviously did.

>If I was in the home of a country girl from three years ago I will notice that pretty fast.

>nothing about keitai

What the fuck is this shit? Whatever happened to real journalism?

Well, I guess I don't have to watch this movie either to support that Shinkai-dude if it's popular and does enough money for him.

Omedetou.

Those are late night anime. You might notice idolshit aside it's been trending down. Anime kind of needed a new hit as a wakeup call that wasn't some money making scheme by some corporation like IdolGundai or Lightnovelplex.

You shut your whore mouth, Bandai and Sunrise did nothing wrong.

I'm pretty certain you're the most retarded person on this board. You critizise a movie you haven't even watched, you spoil yourself with the plot, and you make a decision that it's bad without even having watching it, saying that it's just like a 12 year old movie the director made. You should seek help.

Are you really implying that Shinkai's movie is one made from「PASSION」 and「LOVE」?

It was the right decision anyway, what's your point?

Shinkai bullshited us again. But good movie anyway, even when watching shitty camrip

fuck off back to your sakura containment thread.

That you're a retard. You should shitpost somewhere else.

I'm looking forward to going to see it in the cinema in the UK in November.

Already booked my ticket today.

Should I do it Cred Forums? Should I fuck up and watch the shitty DVD?

>Live in glorious nippon
>Spend all day shitposting on Cred Forums

Living the dream over there, buddy.

nyaa.se/?page=view&tid=847876

It's better than a camrip. There's another version which is deinterlaced, but you can turn it on manually.

It's much better than a camrip, and the sound is pretty good.

Is that the vesrion with chinese hardsubs?

Yup. I downloaded the one without too, but it had worse video quality. The megaupload was taken down, so I don't know where you can find it now.

Dont resist, just watch it to see how bullshit Shinkai is. And it is a good movie so dont afraid.

>Just give me the BDs...
>Yes, the DVD comes with official subs.
>Yes, thank you Chinese overlords.
>Yes, it looks like shit.
>Yes, it's hardsubbed.
>Yes, it's hardsubbed English and Chinese.
>Yes, it's hardsubbed English and Chinese and watermarked.
>Yes, it's better than your favorite anime.
>Yes, pls don't watch this, it doesn't deserve it.

I don't know why you'd bother to be honest. The best things about this film are going to be the art and animation. More worth waiting for than anything else. The story isn't something you REALLY need to see, its just going to be another generic shitty Shinkai story. The joy is going to be in looking at it if anywhere so why degrade that.

So if this movie made ¥10 Billion 9 days faster than Frozen, what are the odds of Kimi no Na wa. surpassing Frozen's total box office gross of ¥25.48 Billion in the Japanese box office?

Also Titanic is still in 2nd with ¥26.20 Billion with Spirited Away in 1st with ¥30.40 Billion. I doubt it'll beat Spirited Away, but could it possibly also beat Titanic?
