If Index/NT really is entering its final arc, the anime may be announced next festival. If the whole series ends and no new anime is announced before the last novel's release date is confirmed I'd say "s3 never" is no longer a meme

If only NT ends and a title change happens, an anime announcement next year might hype up the new series but I doubt it.
