Is it true that the anime is skipping the first four volumes?
Lucas Stewart
Keijo is just a amazing series.
Matthew Kelly
Probably a good idea.
Adam Bailey
apparently, they're skipping stuff after the 1st chapters.
Brody Jenkins
>Xebec A must watch regardless of content.
Andrew Perez
Why though? What's so bad about the initial volumes that there completely skippable?
Cooper Cooper
Only 2 of the girls where introduced in the first volumes.
Gavin Wood
They're not that bad, but...
1) After the first couple chapters, there aren't any more Keijo matches for like 20 chapters. The stuff is between is still kind of fun, but it would take a bit too long in an adaption.
2) Nothing really important happens. Everyone introduced either goes away at the end of the arc or is introduced near the end (which they're animating). Plot-wise, there's some development between the two leads and Miyata's backstory. Relevant, but you're not missing out on that much.
3) There's a specific arc they really, really want to get to, and there isn't enough time to do both the training camp/exam arc and that tournament in 12 episodes.

Just dumping the latest translated chapter because reasons.
Asher King
first arc is them trying to get into the school by doing some exercises (like shaking their ass in a 8 shape)
it's kinda meh and not really important

Just how many bananas do they need for that exercise? Banana-crushing ass sounds great.
