Adelson announced a $25 million donation to Trump, as part of a $65 million donation to the Republican electoral campaign for 2016 (he was by far the biggest contributor to Trump’s campaign)

The Las Vegas Review Journal, which is owned by Adelson, wrote in October, “The Adelsons reportedly have been disappointed in Trump’s failure to keep a campaign pledge to move the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem on his first day in office.”

There's something weird going on with Sheldon Adelson and his stranglehold over the Republican Party. There was a big GOP convention a last week sponsored by Adelson, and all the comments about him from Republican officials were worshipful to the point where they sounded like cult members when they talked. Very creepy stuff. I'd be wary of anyone who takes his money.
