You need consent from the professor in one party states and in two party states need the consent of the university as well cause they own the property rights to all lecture materials

If you live in a one-party consent state, you're probably OK recording a teacher or professor as long as you are present in the class, since you're a party to the conversation and given your consent to be recording. If you're in a two-party consent state, or are placing a secret recorder on your child, things may get a little trickier.

Ok guys. I've been thinking about this for a while. (((Universities))) are the main source of Marxism and SJWism being pumped into young people's heads. We need to end this somehow and I think I have a pretty good solution. It is a 2 step plan that does not involve lobbying against or attacking (((Universities))) directly. Instead it is an indirect attack on their profits and their ability to control access to higher paying careers.

Step one is to once again allow employers to test for IQ in order to weed out the brainlets. Step two is to provide an incentive such as a small tax cut to those employers willing to provide job training for actual careers.

This does a few things. It removes the (((University))) gatekeeping of higher paying careers. Minimizes Marxist professor influence on the young and weak-minded. And finally, it will reduce the demand therefore lowering the price of higher education. Those who want the higher (((education))) can still go and the brainlets can also go if they want higher career prospects(they already let them in anyways).

Also, this gives the most intelligent people a fast track to a good career as opposed to the slow torture that is the 4 year degree. Highly intelligent people shouldn't be artificially held back solely for the purpose of subsidizing and propping up the education of the average to retarded.

some professors explicitly state not to record their shit. which is reasonable when you think about it, since lectures do have a value to them (think of the prices of The Teachers Courses or whatever). but i've seen so many videos/audio people have recorded of their professors and no legal problems have stemmed from it. people who don't do it because of legal reasons are overthinking it

This isn't entirely true. The original reason that was given to make people accept automation is essentially the same as for immigration. There was this vague ideal of an utopia where the workers get a better pay for working shorter days. They keep saying that's where we're headed wherever there's a new increase in automation and immigration but when you look at the numbers, we actually started moving away from it.
