STOP DCING ALREADY I WAS TRYING TO ERP WITH LALAS

Most MMO's gave up a long time ago, XIV still cares.

>Lalafell players

because only a small faction of the playerbase actually use them actively.

Eh, a larger number than the amount that do savage raiding.

I want the squishy huggles too.

doing a raid and having 2 difficulty levels for it is way easier and resource cost effective than, let's say, chocobo racing or diadem.

if you dont have the legacy tattoo you can FUCK OFF

4 more hours until patch 3.4 trailer bros.

Easier and cost effective, and only relevant for a little while vs more difficult and costly but adds something that everyone can do throughout the lifetime of the game.

why do people hate on eos now and say selene is really good

Is the Odin server still acting up?

>no kisses or squishy huggles

why even live

>finally finishing up blue scrip farming for folklore books

This shit is retarded

They're going to make big fishing relevant again right guys?

... right?

When I say "finishin up" I mean just the BTN/MIN ones. Fuck fishing for anything except Illuminati Perches and Pterodons

They better not make the new 250 gear require something from fishing books or I'll be pissed cause I need to farm 300 tokens again.

You'll have a few months before that, won't you?

Nope, a week and a half to get in on the initial gold rush

>tfw you realize there has never been a good mmo, ever

Does this count?

I thought the iLevel 250 stuff wasn't until 3.5?

>class discussion for 4.0 in Novice chat
>guys says we need another INT and another STR class to make 3 of each
>joke that WAR is a STR class
>some other autist flips shit for not being completely serious in Novice chat

Jesus Christ

Nope, coming in 3.4. The next great Jewing is fast approaching.

Haha no, you thought that Midas Savage gear was going to be useful next patch or something?
>tfw day one there will be Goddess PFs asking for ilvl 249 minimum

Should have said WAR is INT

>tfw day one there will be goddess PFs saying if you don't have experience you will get kicked

WoWfags ruined MMOs

Plenty of MMOs have the stuff you named. But that doesn't make the game 'comfy'. I can get all of that from a single player game.

The only things that make FFXIV remotely comfy is the bright atmosphere and the music. But neither of those help the crappy gameplay and focus on raids. And I can still good both those things by just playing something like Dragon Quest VIII.

>aquariums in 3.4

finally I get to show off my Olgoi-Khorkhoi

I wonder how Yoshi P will fuck up the Aquariums.

every even patch there's a power creep

Enjoy no one coming to your house ever.

500 million gil and 10k current tier tokens, and some mandatory fate grinding ofc

Because, OP, not every MMO developer has the budget of a company like SE. Most of them laser-focus in on one idea they feel is unique and hype up players with that mechanic. There's not much else in innovation to them. It's the get rich quick and bail scheme MMOs use all the time.

Don't forget, you won't be able to use your old fishes!

>tfw you play on JP server and avoid wowshitters

>yfw they still can't beat Sephirot

Dragon Quest X has a casino that doesn't suck ass. It has poker and actual slots and craps and bingo. There's even a fully fleshed out board game. Also slime racing is more fun than chocobo racing.

japs are way better at this game

didn't the jp datacenter have like 3 times as many savage alex clears as the other 2 combined

>tfw Dragon Quest X has had aquariums and affordable individual player housing since release several years ago.

How does it feel to be playing the sloppy seconds mmo

>Anything casino related in Dragon Quest

It's exactly like being at a real casino, so it's fucking terrible.
Fuck that gook and his gambling addictions.
You don't see the composer putting his WWII views into the game.

And all of that is why we can never get it in the west. Its such a better game than FFXIV that Square is afraid it will take subs away from FFXIV.

What Square is overlooking is that 90% of people have already quit FFXIV. So it wouldn't be taking away subs. It would be getting people to come back to a SquareEnix MMO, while currently they're not playing FFXIV at all.

I mean, FFXI has all that

You've gotta admit the golden saucer sucks ass though. There is literally nothing worth doing in there.

That's how its always been for Final Fantasy. They reuse concepts Dragon Quest did years earlier. Then the fans act like Final Fantasy created it, because they never played a DQ game before.

Same thing with Pokemon. Everything from Casinos to the main combat engine itself was in DQ years before.

Lord of Verminion is great.

>6 more months of bagpipes

this, im so fucking done with the shitty fucking goblins

>crafted 250 stuff
>Likely not gonna use any of the iLevel 220/ironworks stuff to craft it
>Macros will now have to be 50+ steps

Fuck this game

why isnt this game in the west

Idyllshire's night theme is fantastic, I'll miss it when 4.0 rolls in.

>Lords of Verminion is great

Between 2007 and 2014, SquareEnix completely gave up on localizing Dragon Quest outside Japan. Not just the MMO, but any games. The only games we got were the ones distributed by Nintendo. It wasn't until 2015 when SquareEnix released another game. And it was a Musou spin off. And even now, Dragon Quest VII came out just today and it took Nintendo distrobution, plus massive fan begging, to get it released.

And the localization producer for Dragon Quest has openly said that the only way more DQ games will come to the west is if fans keep 'making your voice heard'. So our chances of a major MMO coming over, which is already 4 years old, are about as good as Mother 3 being ported to the NX. Actually, even worse than that.

tl;dr: Square's stubborn pride is blocking Dragon Quest X. Even when FFXIV is hemorrhaging subs.

You could say the same for Wizardry and Ultima.

PVP is shit, and for the most part LoV IS garbage but some of the "boss" challenges are legitimately great. The one where you fight the wind-up bahamut actually has t13 mechanics.

>Think of making some tools
>Look at listed price
>Shit's barely a 150% profit now

Not really. Because aside from Dragon Quest taking its early game design from Wizardry and Ultima, and the use of classes in DQIII, they haven't copied Wizardry or Ultima in any other ways that I can see.

Yuji Horii did say he wanted to make an MMO after seeing Ultima do it. But really, aside from the interpation of 'I want to make an MMO', what part of DQX is anything like UO?

that's what happens when you wait

use your noggin and start selling what people will need for 3.4

If only there was an expert+ mode for dungeons. Dungeons with higher difficulty, mob packs that need CC, and a couple extra mechanics on each boss. Triple the tome reward and increase minion drop chance.

>you can pet people in this game
>if your character is significantly smaller they'll actually bend over to pet you
Technology

We're talking about as a whole.

>CC

What fucking crowd control? Sleep?

>Triple tome reward

OH BOY MORE TOMES I CAN'T WAIT

optional savage dungeons would be pretty cool

Why is it that people with lover ilevel are always more competent?

Last time I was playing, everyone ignored those mini games in XIV.

Probably because the content is fresh for them and they don't feel dead inside from doing the same shit for 12 weeks.

The only similarity here is they both wear black, have long parted hair, and use a long sword.

skill is actually a bell curve where the shitters converge in the middle

once you get above the i240 range people start getting gud again

And both come to the conclusion that they want to kill the entire human race because they think they were being targeted.

Cause bored nolifers make alts.

>And both come to the conclusion that they want to kill the entire human race because they think they were being targeted.

Don't act as if Dragon Quest invented that, or any of the things I mentioned in the previous post.

It's true. I'm working my 7th alt through ARR right this minute.

Why do people still suck at Titan Extreme?
>"what? I was out of that aoe ;_;"

They're nothing alike.

Sephiroth isn't even Sephiroth for the whole game.

>Queue for weeping city
>Average wait time: 30m

Huh, don't think even WoD got this bad.

>Don't act as if Dragon Quest invented that
I didn't. But by your own words, his looks, personality and motive are similar to Sephiroth.

And its not like this is the only time Final Fantasy has taken an idea from DQ. The concept of the first FF game came from Dragon Quest. Its not a bad thing. Its a sign that Sugiyama knew what was popular and capitalized on it.

They released A5-8 savage clears per server. Of the top 20, like 2 servers were EN

>like having multiple characters but yoshi only wants you to play one character

>People logging in as different characters

The worst.

>like FFXI but Yoshi wants us to play his version of WoW Cata

people will always suck at mechanics heavy fights no matter how high their ilvl is

Alts are dumb and gay. Being able to do everything on one character is the superior design.

>Being able to do everything on one character is the superior design

How's your 3 crafting specializations, user?

>yoshi's fave mmo is DAoC
>nothing like it

There's literally no excuse for not having a shared bank between characters or the moronic decision that you have to do the entire msq again if you want to play 3.0 as a new character

Literally no reason to have more than one character

Except for crafting, gathering and weekly lockout shit, you are completely right.

Oh wait that's the entire fucking game golly.

When's patch preview?

I've been a DQfag for years and I just can't imagine the Dragon Quest MMO being worth localizing for the west. I just don't think there'd be enough of a playerbase to warrant the continual upkeep on it.

You don't need more than one character.

since when have video games been about what a person needs? If having multiple characters was less restrictive that wouldn't make having one character any more restrictive than it already is. I don't know why you seem to think they're mutually exclusive concepts.

There are a good majority of players who think they get hit based on the animation, not the castbar.

it doesn't help that 50% of the fight have hits on animations and the other 50% have hits on cast bars and then 1-2 exotics that have a 80% castbar shit going on

Korean MMOs with less than 100k players still seem to turn a profit. And FFXIV itself is sitting at an estimated 250k players (worldwide, not just outside Japan). What threshold is too low for an MMO to be successful? I can see DQX getting 250k players just from the core fanbase. Not to mention FFXI fans who want a successor to FFXI and people desperate for something that isn't a WoW clone.

It's 97% "gtfo last split second of castbar", 3% "checked-upon-animation going out".

>Why do people still suck at Titan Extreme?
Because the game doesn't teach anything during the main quest.

yoshi has clearly proven he doesn't know how to design a game like DAoC

and even if he did the game would just be even more dead

This shit infuriated me to no end when I first started playing, and STILL pisses me off.
>Step outside until cast bar finishes
>Jump back in
>Nothing
>Nothing
>Bathe in a fucking torrent of flames from a breath attack
>0 damage
Why the fuck even have animations in the first place if they do literally fucking nothing.

Not 'needing' it is different from there being no incentive.

Better yet is custom AoE animations are not pre-loaded with the enemy model. Toasters been struggling with those for years now.

CAN'T WAIT FUUUCK, LET IN THE HYPE TRAIN YOSHI!!!

Those 250k players are "active" characters, in this case meaning characters that have completed the latest Main Story Quest.
That's not counting people who just out-right didn't do those quests, newfags that just started playing recently and of course the 3 or so million bot accounts.
The active number of players in FFXIV is tiny, yeah, the actual sub numbers are probably way more than triple of that.

Been subbed for 8 months now, still haven't gotten out of Coerthas. Maybe i'll get there once I get my gathering classes high enough to need it.

because "comfy shit" is what shitty faggots need in their empty soul less shitty gaming experiences.

"Fuck being an actual game with any depth, lets just add a bunch of useless activities for the retards paying a monthly sub fee for! Maybe that will distract them long enough for them to make it to the next billing cycle!" This is literally all ff14 is about. Just shitty endgame "content" and a few useless things to do to distract you from the fact that there is literally nothing fun to do.

comfy shit in an MMO just means that the game is garbage and you're garbage for liking it

>muh depth meme
Some of us have jobs and don't have 12 hours every day to learn new stuff in video games.
The older you get the more you start to appreciate "comfy"/simple stuff.

>OP asks why more MMOs don't bother adding cute little side features that make a world feel more alive, using FFXIV as an example
>completely lose your fucking mind

YOOOOOSHIIIIIIII

when are they releasing the new trailer or whatever

some people are saying tomorrow and some are saying in a couple of hours

Live letter is in 2 hours so most likely there

>i don't have time to play video games so they should make them shallow "good job!" simulators with pretty graphics and nothing else

It takes literally 4 days of play to get to the point that estimators count as an active player. Maybe 2 weeks if you're really slow and only play a few hours a day. If someone is spending months getting to level 50, then they probably shouldn't count as an active player. Since they're making a billion new characters but never getting anywhere with them. But it still points out that the vast majority of people who buy the game end up quitting before the end of their first 30 days.

Of course, all of this would be easier to determine if SE just released actual sub numbers.

made me look

Yeah...? Sorry to hear you're part of a dead market that has no money.

you say that yet every single tank in the game was STR tanks before the nerf that happend a couple months ago.

I said in 2 hours

I have enough money to play video games, obviously. Also, you're full of shit or terrible at managing your time. My father has worked 12 hours a day his whole life and always has time for video games. He was a hardcore EQ raider for about 5 years. Admit you just don't like playing games and only want your rewards.

lol, your dad sounds like a real winner faggot.

>sqex

How lewd!

Fuck Idyllshire and fuck goblins
Limsa is where its at

...

>straight male roe

lol k

why would they even bother with bara roes when there's male Au Ra?

Is she a qt retainer?

No.

she looks stoned

Eeh, guess it was kinda a bad picture lol

Because every male Au Ra chooses to be a face 1 pretty boy instead of taking the hardcore manly faces they have available.

What does 3.4 bring? I stopped before the Nid EX stuff and am really missing the game.

Idk why the game feels more enjoyable in comparison to WoW. All throughout playing legion I just wanted to sub back to FF

How close is 4.0? I might just hold off untill then so i have a bunch of stuff to do

Roe are better
Au'ra guys are anime

>Wanting 'manly' characters

Are you gay or something?

There's a TGS stream up in like half an hour that's going to detail 3.4. There's a bit of vague information out on it like a new raid tier and some shit but we don't really know anything about it that'd tell us if it's decent or not yet.

>How close is 4.0?
Expect it around mid-2017.
>3.4 - Sep'16
>3.5 - Dec'16/Jan'17
>3.55 - Mar/Apr'17
>4.0 - Jun/Jul'17

>not liking manly

>>>/Gaia Online/

There's gonna be a 3.6 breh.

youtube.com/watch?v=g4-1suWHOPM
IT'S STARTING. Probably nothing worthwhile to see. Expansion announcement ain't happening until fanfest.

Wasn't 2.55 not that dissimilar from a full-fledged content patch anyway in terms of amount of content?

Twitch chat is cancer. Gaijin piggu git out!

>Probably nothing worthwhile to see.
3.4 trailer seems pretty important.

FUUUCKKK MY DIIIIIIICK ALEXANDER THE CREATOR SHIIIITTTT

>rly want to play blue burst
>will just get bored af playing by myself
At least the soundtrack still gives me nostalgia

Leave Final Fantasy and MMORPGs to me.

>Just did the final mission
>Had to wait like 40 minutes to get in
>Everybody ran ahead while I was watching the cutscene
>Kept getting locked out of boss rooms
>Missed out on the fucking cool ass section where you get to blow shit up in a Magitek armor
>All those bosses who have been antagonizing me for the 100+ hours I've been playing I didn't get to settle because hurrr closes off in 15 seconds, we put the cutscene trigger OUTSIDE of the arena
>Eight man party for absolutely no reason other than ITZ SO EPIK TO STORM THE CASTLE XXD because bosses get destroyed in seconds

It's not like there isn't a big thing over in the hud that tells you I'm watching the fucking cinematics

This shit should have been single player

Nobody should be allowed to fucking move if the game tells you someone is new, glad I spent all this time getting to this point and then wasn't allowed to participate

>hurr just skip the cutscenes

How about fuck you

>Fucking fighting Alexander himself
>Garuda summoned in a dungeon
>everything about Sophia

3.4 is saved

and the hype is back

yeah that sucks man, same thing happened to me the first time

Hai!

Did the Paladin of Darkness just Holmgang somebody? The fuck?

>that Xelphatol music

Love the ixals theme

Everyone wants different things out of a MMO, and as a result different companies focus on different things.

Holy shit Sophia looks incredible

Amazing rendition of the design

Twitch stream has audio for those of you ded on Youtube.

Shit. I came in late so I'm on Youtube since it can rewind. Is it bad on Youtube?

new primalfu detected

There's going to be a stretch where sound vanishes but it's after the trailer so no big deal. Audio is back now.

Youtube stream is a lot better than the Twitch stream for video, so it's probably worthwhile just to tough it out when you hit the mute.

Did FFXIV just have more and better content than an entire WoW expansion in one patch?
Can't make this shit up lul!

Would look better without freckles or the face paint.

>freckles on top of paint
Just looks silly.

>bunch of Mhiggers in Ishgard

Since when?

Damn these new Deep Dungeon floors look good.

>her voice

Can't wait.

Where? All I saw was Qarn

>clicking skills

REEEEEEEEE

Nobody cares about shitty ass pvp get on with showing Alexander already

Man they REALLY want PvP to be more popular

Looks like duels don't ilvl sync down to 150 like the instanced PvP modes. Guess I won't be able to use my special crit/det set like that.

Alexander looks sick. Love the look of the dungeon, fights, and the gear.

Sophia looks beautiful, can't wait to see how her gear looks.

Ala Mhigo confirmed for 4.0. Will Monk get storyline importance like Dragoon did in 3.0? I hope so. I want to see the cat girl twins again.

Still miffed about nothing on Ishgard housing.

should fix their shitty netcode first for pvp being remotely enjoyable

I don't understand why the development team puts so much effort into PvP. I mean, I want good PvP but it just doesn't seem possible under XIV's core system.

...

>All this stupid time wasted on PvP

So we have a new way to spot faggots a mile off, good.

Different people look after PvP than PvE. What do you think the PvP developers were doing after they've designed (Shatter)? Just sitting around waiting for the expansion?

>comfy
the triple triad literally made me quit the game because of it's shit mechanics
how do you even fuck this up

But cats have been in the game for ages.

>that alexander clip
I want it
I NEED IT

Is it just me, or did it look like there were items to change the appearance of weapons? Think that carries over to the Padjal versions they give you outside?

When are they gonna start releasing Female Vet Rewards? I want a fucking Rikku glamour.
Or villains!

Why did they use Squall's Dissidia outfit?

>esports panorama of game mode that isn't even good

>Terra gear
>Sephiroth gear
I don't think I want this.

No what they should have done is not put 10 minutes of stupid fucking cutscenes in a dungeon that takes 15 at most.

It's like they have no idea what to even use a God damn cutscene for. They put in a fucking 15 second cutscene for you walking into a room for Heaven's sake.

There's nothing wrong with TT except for the Random rule, pleb.

>Another meme house design

great

You know you do.

>Is it just me, or did it look like there were items to change the appearance of weapons? Think that carries over to the Padjal versions they give you outside?
Yeah they turned red. Since 3.4 introduced new ilvl cap I'm guessing these red weapons will be a new welfare weapon you can get.

so glad they added a lobby in the apartments instead of it being completely locked off

...

SHOW OFF ALEXANDER ALREADY FUCK

>you just warp to your apartment
Hopes deleted.

...

>Same size as an FC room

...

>Apartments are exactly the same size as an FC Room
>No Ishgardian Housing
Bravo Yoshi-P.

have you ever seen an apartment before
would have preferred different shapes of rooms though

>no comfy apartment building hijinks
>no stepping out on a balcony and waving to your neighbours

>new Grand Company gear
Holy fucking finally

comfyfags BTFO

Did anyone honestly expect something other than a single-player room?

>have you ever seen an apartment before
In this game? No, of course not. They've never shown them before today. We were allowed to hope they MIGHT do something different.

Personally was hoping they might have gone with a loft layout.

>Balconies
Now THAT would have been nice.
Fuck, you still can't even access balconies on houses via normal means. It's such shite.

The fuck is a double cross hot bar? Did they realize how many more buttons I could still be using finally?

Weren't new egis in 3.4? Haven't seen anything about it yet.

Y'know what upsets me more than anything else?

That of all the things players have asked to be able to take from their inventories and display about houses, apparently FISH was deemed the highest priority. Weapon case displays? Armor stands? Naaaaah. Fuckin' Aquariums man, that's what people want.

>dumb cosmetic shit being hyped as an actual feature

where da video games

It's not coming. They would have shown it off already. Seems it's delayed.

That is actually a pretty heavily requested feature though.

>garrisons
th-thanks yoshi-p you fucking HACK

>Someone modeled and textured every fish in the game
I don't hate it but I'm so confused about how their development team works.

>literally garrisons/class halls

wew lad

just what I wanted

Is it? Is it really? I see people asking about weapon and armor displays all the time. I think I've seen people asking about fish displays MAYBE once.

>You'll never walk to your apartment at the dead of night
>and take the elevator to your floor
>and awkwardly say hi to the cat girl that passes you in the hallway

Because they usually have more classes at 60 to gear up, therefore more experience and skill at the game

They showed the gear off a few months ago, it sucks.

city of heroes was in its earlier days
RIP

Reply to this post if you intend to make your Squadron a Harem of qt Catgirls.

I didn't say it was requested MORE mind, but I have seen Aquarium requests for quite a while now.

Great. Now I get to wait another 4 months for my pet to maybe not look like shit.

Been waiting like 3 years at this point though. A little more won't kill me.

You can already show off armour with retainers.

>it sucks.
You suck
The maelstrom outfit is great and flames isnt bad either

adder is terrible as usual though

I want to complain about them stealing the absolute worst feature in two WoW expansions, but people ate garrisons up, and they're probably going to eat this up too.

fuck you for digging into that wound

All of the new gear looks bad. What happened to the art design team?

Here is the uniform for people who are wondering. I like them all.

>I can finally make my harem of buff male roes

Didn garrisons shit out raid tier gear? It making it unnecessary to play the actual game was the main problem with Garrisons, doubt they'd do that here because MUH LOCKOUTS.

>that flames gear

holy shit I need it

The flames one is 10/10

>catsluts

I'll be making my harem of elves, roes and hyurs. You know, the non-shit races.

Does anyone have a link to the trailer?

LOLICONS FRONT AND CENTER

Flames one looks a little silly with that helm. Would probably look 10/10 without it.

Maelstrom is breddy gud.

Twin Sadder lives up to its name.

Yet again, Flames gear is the only decent one.
>Mael gets another black/red coat
>Adder gets more gay robes

The helmet is independently the best part though.

God why did I stay up all night for this?

Fuck man, I think the new Alex 3 Gear looks sick. Can't wait.

These are also pretty nice. Look like Tank sets, so I'm wondering what the DPS and Caster sets'll look like.

>It's an hourly FFXIV thread episode
On another note have WoWfugees finally fucked off back to Legion?

LOLI
CAT

...

I wonder if he's gonna end the LS with the price tag of that fucking dress?

50 Dollars.

Gotta make up for FFXV
Please look forward to it

Still 10 days away.

Literally why would you deprive yourself of sleep just to see a bunch of japs talk about some dumb side features?

>tfw its only 12am for me

SLOTS

Fuuck I'm too poorfag in-game for this, I need to buy gil now.

Aquapolis

Looks like the "Wondrous Trail" game will ask you to complete old raids.

what were you expecting? new content? lmao

Except that's something that people were asking for a long time

a fake reason to grind old content againt?

pretty sure no one was asking for that

That's a pretty book.

>Show off book
>Has no content in it

POTTERY

>the lore book

FUCKING WANT
HOLY SHIT

Can we romance NPCs yet?

No.

Hope you enjoy lords of verminion

Why would you want to romance her? Tiny lala pussy probably stretched to the brink by the General's BBBC.

>that calendar art

That is one smug lala in the corner.

Honestly think Lords of Verminion might be the single largest mis-step in the game's content development.

>mog slippers
>mini alphinaud
there goes my wallet

>please buy merch to fund FFXV

Except that's exactly what the shit relic quests are and people always shit on them for being a lazy rehash with no new content that force people to just grind old shit.

>Want to hit 60 on all combat jobs before the patch
>Still have 6 or 7 jobs to grind from 50-60

I'm not going to make it am I?

>FFXIV Novels
Huh. I wonder what kind of stories they shall tell?

Will manga adaptations follow?
Animes?

I'd watch an FFXIV anime.

It's mostly newer players who ask for such things, to force older players into doing content that is passe by the time they get to it, and thus they can never gather enough people to manage a clear.

>Noizi Ito
Because this art style makes me think FFXIV

Having a side activity like that isn't bad in itself but they clearly went overboard with how much effort they put into it. It shouldn't have been one the main features of a content patch. Should have been in a 2.x.x patch like chocobo racing was.

At least if they had gone with the NPC "dating" joke instead they wouldn't have had the opportunity to go as overboard. There's so many minions and that shit just got so out of hand.

>Wanting Nanamo

She takes 'The Bull' in her ass nightly

>no Alex preview

What a fucking waste of time

Gold Saucer in general was a pretty big fuck up, LoV is just the biggest fuckup in that fuckup festival.

There was a preview literally at the start of the stream

I set my alarm early for this?!

Especially since there's a superior potato.

Eh, some of the stuff there is fun. But it gets old pretty quickly.

The recent event made it seem like they were going to give it a content patch, maybe a bit more variety, but we've not heard anything since that murder mystery event. Which, honestly, I thought was rather fun.

Yeah but they didn't give it a look in-game, instead wasting everyone's time with fucking PVP garbage.

Gold Saucer was the best thing ever for the first two weeks. The chocobo table was the most popular night club since people discovered Gold shire. But there were virtually no incentives for spending time there instead of out in the world.

Honestly don't mind that.

I'm perfectly content with the quick little previews in the trailer, leaving me hyped until the release when I get to tackle it myself.

>no incentives for spending time there instead of out in the world

less incentives than zero incentives? wow.

Hopefully they put out the the trailer itself soon instead of needing to back into the stream to find it and get another look.

>"Let's spend time, effort and attention on implementing things that players already do themselves using means already in the game!"

I mean yeah, the little countdown implemented into the game itself is nice and all, but when I think of all the other stuff I'd like in the game that they've teased and then just dropped, it's really, really underwhelming...

It's fuckupery is in the sense that parts of it could have been great but were undone by content that fucks up in very specific crrippling ways (LoV is unique in just being an actual stupid idea). Practically every GATE is just infuriating bullshit, Cackpot is a pain in the ass for no reason that probably causes more frustration from forgetting about it than anything, Triple Triad has an absolutely retarded entry difficulty curve, Chocobo racing being server side at release killed it instantly, etc.

Mount and the pure unbridled fun of choice racing are incentives. But I got the Amazon special fat white chocobo mount, so I don't really give a shit about Saucer mount anymore.

Oh look another bombass trailer that gets you hyped until they reveal the majority of the content is extremely shallow or copy-pasted directly from WoW and will get boring on day one as well as half of it not even included until a later mini-patch.

Countdown was in the game and got taken out though

Was it?

Just makes it seem even more asinine then.

They modeled 100+ unique fish just for us user, that's not easy work, stop being entitled.

This, it's not even a new feature, it was introduced in 1.0 and just now was added back.

Dammit Yoshi-P.

Either give us SOMETHING related to Ishgardian Housing and Pet Glamours, or just tell us fucking "No" already.

The best part is like 99% of the minions are worthless.

In fact the best rush strategy I can come up with for a normal game involves literally only 3 minions that are the easiest shit to get. In fact I think the airship is the first minion most people get period.

>Design stuff around group activities
>Shit sucks when you're the only one doing them

That's basically it, except for daily scratch off which is easy once you get the hang out of prioritizing numbers and LoV which wasn't a bad idea by itself but has absolutely no business being in the game.

youtube.com/watch?v=8JPfQb549Eo

It's up

>tfw i actually did grind out all yo-kai weapons to get the radiating sperm mount

I'd have rather they implemented a means to put models already in the game on display outside of characters.

Are they going to make the fish appear when fishing then, or am I still catching tiny light balls?

webm time

...

Soundtrack excellent as ever.

That Sophia fight looks so good.

god I fucking love alexander's design

Hey guys so apartment questions

1. Is it possible to remodel an apartment into Lightning's kitchen from FFXIII?

2. Will there be an actual storage thing it?

>tfw you get made fun of for being a WoWfugee
Just fucking tell me what a Tifa is and where I can get it!

Should've gone with Celes or something, pretty sure people who've never touched FF know Tifa from porn.

Tifa was a beloved character of the franchise. Unfortunately, she was killed off last year during a crossover special with one of the most popular cartoon series in America.

>that fucking Goddess fight
Hot diggity daffodil

What's the fastest way to gear up?
I'm i220ish now and I need to be there on day 1 for learning groups, else I'll never get a Sofia weapon (same thing happened with nidhogg- took 3 weeks to clear and farm parties were dead by then).

>Crafted Thordan and Ravana weapons

I guess Sephirot was the prototype for Alex Prime.

>Interior Design Glamours
Hah, fat chance.

>Item Storage
Uh, duh? They're called RETAINERS.
You can get 2 by progressing in the game, and then pay Square an extra I think $2 a month for extra.
Yes this is sarcasm. But still no, I doubt Square ever will implement other means of storage.

Not even a Tifafag but that fight was biased as fuck.

Housing has armoire access.
>still can't put all the event earrings in armoire
Yoshi please

>People are super exited for apartments when you're just going to be Inn rooms you can't log out in.

Thank God I can finally get Thordan's fuckhuge sword without bothering with that clusterfuck of a fight.

Meanwhile, the fight against Sephirot continues...

I hope you actually fight him and not fight his toes like with Deathwing. There were supposedly time manipulation mechanics at play so it might be amazing to see like a sphere of time while the world around you rewinds or fast forwards.

@1:15 is that Ark from Final Fantasy IX or atleast a look alike? I don't even know if that's the name of the summon but it looks like the air ship you had to fight from IX.

>Sofia weapon

just buy my crafted 250 weapon goy

Yep looks like it

>Armoire
Oh yeah. That thing that's only good for stashing event items, and AF1 shit that you're never going to wear, since if you turn it into the dye-enabled versions, you can no longer store them there.

Hell, it can't even store all event stuff...

Well a huge amount of development resources go into housing decorations, god knows it's the only thing I spend any gil on because I'm not rich enough for dumping it into gear.

But apartments probably won't have the SHOW EM ONLINE aspect, not that it means shit for like 90% of houses already.

Had friend run this unsynced first time so I could watch cutscenes uninterrupted. Got to see and do everything. Feels good

Really sad how housing has fallen off in MMOs

It better be some bayonetta type of song in the second part.
And i love the inside alexander.

Wildstar housing was like Garry's Mod lite. I zoned into one guy's house and he had set it up like a deathtrap obstacle course. The another guy's was an system of caves. And then some other guy's was a network of treehouses.

Pretty sure the music they played for her during the trailer is the second part. When they queued into it during the stream it played the same first part from Sephirot.

>Titan lashing out and killing Kobolds in the trailer

Who hurt you, Titan? Why do you hurt your children?

because cardgames, housing, gambling and racing are dead fucking content that nobody bothers with. Go look at the golden saucer RIGHT NOW and you'll be hardpressed to find more than like 10 people.

Ah well lets see how it goes then.
Thats going to be levi 2.0

No one wants to do anything aside from running in the "getting bigger numbers"-hamster wheel

It's why MMOs are dead.

what if its titan savage

>mfw ifrit is doing the same thing

hahahaha good googly moogly it's all gone to shit!

>That ala mihgo set up

You niggas ready for Rhalgr the destoryer?

>All the primals are hurting their children

STOP THIS
I can see Garuda doing that, though

The really ironic thing is that while we see Ifrit and Titan quite uncharacteristically assaulting their own worshipers, we see the Ixali Chieftain successfully summoning her to perform attacks on you...

Notice that Yda didn't show up but Papalymo did

Garuda is probably more than pleased to have another shot at you. 4th time is the charm

and given that the WoD seem to be gathering elemental crystals, and the only one they don't have is light blue, means that Ysayle is back in play

I hope the warriors of darkness have an actual motive

something something balance

current theory is that Hydelayn isn't necessarily the good guy in all of this, and they are trying to restore the world to what it is supposed to be.

what worries me most, Urianger. he'd be the first one to drop the cause to go on to a larger one, which is what its escalating to. I still think the turncoat is Alisaile

I just want to journey through Garlemald-controlled territory accompanied by Widargelt and the Twins.

Not Erik though.
Fuck Erik. That condescending ass can stay far, far away.

I kind of dislike housing in MMOs, feels like it encourages you to spend time there instead of at player hubs.

Tibia was good, get a house in town, show off all your stuff on the floor

It's such a fucking shame that the music and gorgeous visuals are wasted on this shitty game.

sophiathan sophiathan (sex us)

RDM when?

6.4.

eta. 6 years ish.

To be fair this game really heavily relies on having a good ping. My ISP has dogshit routing to Japan and I was averaging mid to high 200ms. I was getting higher to US. Even using wtfast I was getting a minimum of 150 and still then it was hard to react fast enough to large fast casts. Even testing it casually on normal mobs outside of fates you could really tell how fucked you were if you had shit ping because you were well out of their stuff and still got hit.

And that Papalymo didn't get any new threads.

>the only mhigan who doesnt wanna go rushing into ala mhigo to die for nothing
>bad

Blame FFXV and FFXIII for that buddy. FFXIII took up almost 10 years of the FF franchise and FFXV has been in the tube for the same time.

And FFXIV is good at what it does, m8tey.

You forgot about the other Highlander that isn't a retard.
Oh wait, he died. In the garlean attack on the waking sands.

Urianger has got some fuckin splainin to do. Especially if the WoD end up actually managing to kill someone this time.

>All his shenanigans is just because he misses his roe waifu

Hey, Widargelt learned his lesson.

Yes, Erik knows his shit. But he is completely and utterly unbearably condescending about it.

That would be the weakest motivation of all time.

Even if it was some kind of long-con.

That's basically FF3 plotline. Too much bullshit in the world of Light has upset thr balance and is threatening to destabilize reality. And they are here to unfuck it before you, the monstrous and unstoppable WoL, wreck existence by simply existing.

Is FFXIV worth getting into if the only MMORPG I've ever played was Runescape (and I put around 400+ hours in it)

Housing at its prime was Ultima Online, hands down. Entire player towns were designed and serviced by communities. There was nothing cosier than a nice tavern out in the wilderness. Before there was high speed internet browsing, there was just you chatting it up with random guys at the bar about the latest game related stuff and rumors until all of you became familiar with each other.

>Erik
>the only one with any fucking brains
>the one guy from the MNK quests who didn't try to kill you

Runescape was the only MMO I played seriously before I played this.

I literally went from OSRS to FFXIV a few months back. Its very different, a much more traditional MMO (especially if you played OS and not RS3) the difference between the two is staggering, but at the same time it means its something fresh if you haven't played such an mmo in a while or at all.

Cool, I'll try to check it out again. To be honest, I tried to free trial a while back on my PS3. I am not really a graphics whore, but i had a Ps3 with a small 22 inch TV and that was hell. I turned it off after 5 minutes because everything was so blurry and looked like shit. Heard the PS4 and PC versions run like a dream so I'll try again with my PS4.

>tradeable endgame hq gear with 5 safe slots as weekly rewards

Why isn't anyone freaking out about this?
Prices will absolutely tank for "normal" gear.

Yeah, my eye started twitching the moment I saw that shit.

Makes me feel like I've just utterly wasted my time as a crafter. Well, more than usual I mean.

What's this about?

Look on the rewards at the bottom. The one on the right looks like ironworks.

>"So hey, y'know that piece of end game gear, that you spent hours of effort grinding out crafters and gatherers in order to make for yourself?"
>"Spending hundreds of thousands of gils to fill in the blanks you didn't have the specialists for?"
>"Maybe millions to buy off the board? Or going through all that effort to make it so you could sell it for millions?"
>"Yeah...we're gonna make it so you can just, eh, maybe do a couple Mentor Roulettes, get lucky with some RNG, and bam! HQ, free of charge."
>"Isn't that great?!"

Fuck, who thought this was a good idea?

Yoshida and his gaggle of yes men.

>5 safe slots
I almost guarantee you that's test-server shit, just the like godmode he put on for Sophia.

the green one was i250 so hardly endgame, thats on the level of crafted gear for DoW in 3.4 while tome and alex will be 260/270 I imagine.

The blue one though, looked like ironworks crafting shit so lol anyone who bothered pentamelding an ironworks set.

Worst thing about this is its timing.
This is gonna make it into 3.4 no matter what, the last patch to raise item level before 4.0.
It won't be rectified (if it ever will be) for at least 9 months.

According to the live translator, Yoshida specifically said it would be tradeable as it was.
As much as i hate guy, mrhappy recorded the session. Skip to 01:10:36 and listen.

i250 falls into endgame crafting, being the highest item level craftable.

This is a slap in the face to any serious crafter.

PSO2's got blackjack you can play with other players it's great.

Fastest way to farm Esoterics for a new char?

I never understood why they didn't integrated any kind of non-grindy multiplayer content into the gold saucer.
Give me poker and I'd play the shit out of that with people. Yeah TT exists, and it could have been fun, if you didn't have to laboriously extract cards from NPCs to get over the cliff-like entry curve. Similar deal with Chocobo racing; I'd be in-game, right fucking now, playing it if they axed the stupid bird breeding grind and turned it into a Mario Kart clone.

Just give me some enjoyable core gameplay and people will play it because it's fun.
Lord of Vermin is a microcosm of everything wrong with XIV in terms of design; it's bright and flashy, but extremely shallow, surely required a shitload of effort to develop- but it's fucking boring with this absurd lengthy progressive grind attached, offering no real reward so no sane person would ever bother with it.

Because they need people to actively participate in the pvp/dungeon/raid finders. That must always take priority.

So its finally worth it to be a Mentor and do some stupid Mentor shit with absolute dumbasses?

So instead of having people that actually wants to mentor people and help them they've now made so EVERYONE will want to become a mentor even tho they probably don't give a shit about new players...how do you even become a mentor?

Where did it say you had to mentor people for wondrous tails?

Then why develop side-content at all?
The same logic applies: Instead of forcing players to endure this excruciating daily roulette grind for gear why not focus your efforts into developing content that's actually fun, so players will want to engage those things of their own volition- not because you're blackmailing them into it.

Another thing they need to do is engineer content with a community focus:
When I played through the Heavensward benchmark before release and saw that part with adventurers milling about in the Sea of Clouds I thought, "damn, that looks fun". Endgame structure at the moment isolates the good players, lowering the bar of competency for everyone else. No one interacts with eachother, and no one wants to interact with people outside their own little groups. For an MMO that's fucking insane.

It's more a matter that you get special RNG currency for Wondrous Tails if you do the duties in them with players new to them.

And what's the easiest way to wind up in duties with new players?

its a shame this game has such nice visuals and music, the gameplay is mind numbing in every single area

the only thing driving people to play this at higher levels is being good at something a bunch of other people play for a sense of superiority or skill

Have to have a Tank/DPS/Heals to 60. Easy enough considering Arcanist classes count as double and Dark Knight starts at 30.

Have to have 500 commendations. Used to be piss easy when original Wolves Den was out, people would pass out commendations like nobodies business. You can still get a bunch in frontline just shout a lot and pretend like you know what you're doing, you'll get a few even if you lose.

But if you play a tank in any guildhest 90% of the time you'll get a comm from every remaining player for just doing your job.

And then you have to do 1000 dungeons. And since primal raids "count" it's also easy to do.

>it's bright and flashy, but extremely shallow
Are you kidding? It has more strategy than literally everything else in the game, simply by virtue of being an RTS. Also has a higher execution barrier to play well than even savage mode raiding.

But all these are also why its a failure, an MMO is simply not a good place for an rts game like that. Controller users can't play it, and even among pc gamers the rts genre is niche as hell.

I still don't see why you'd queue for mentor roulette. What ensures you'll get the duty you need for wondrous tails?

Healer/Tank commendations are like zimbabwe money, I only play dps and I'm at 401 commendations after just over a year playing.

The crafter/gatherer requirements for mentor status are a joke compared to the DoW side amuway, that's how I got it. Just craft 300 collectables or something and have one class (any class) at 60. Way easier than doing 1000 dungeons.

LoV is a 1v1 MOBA. And a terrible one. I might as well just reinstall Starcraft 2 and play another player map.

Wait a week and 3 days when they're removed from the game altogether

I completed every Verminion challenge. The majority of which were done by spamming either the Hildibrand minion or the Mandragora minion to my opponents crystal and respawning them as they died and my eyes glazed over.

I love Triple Triad to death and it's a shame people aren't playing it, but user was right about verminion; it's flashy shallow garbage

But then how am I supposed to get ilvl200 gear for new classes?

I'm not going to debate the semantics of rts vs mobas, frankly I don't care about that distinction in this case. There aren't even any lanes, nor do you control a single unit which is pretty much the defining characteristic of most moba characters.

The point is its way too hard to play for the kind of demographic that XIV attracts. It's also PvP and people have really fragile egos when it comes to anything where you go up against another human. It was never going to be popular.

They'll either be added as dungeon loot, tied to the level 60 job quests as rewards or bought via some form of token like every other gear set

You played the computer, what exactly did you expect? Go queue up against one of the, probably 1 or 2 people on your server that actually know how to play an rts and report back.

i feel anything XIV tries feels inferior compared to the origin. Cardgame is meh, housing and especially gardening meh, racing fun for 10 minutes... it is bullshit

>The point is its way too hard to play for the kind of demographic that XIV attracts

I don't know if you were trying to make yourself sound smarter than the average bear, make me look like an idiot, or make the entire country of Japan look like a bunch of morons.

The community. You realize the vast majority of the mongloids who play this game don't craft, or if they do they do it as casually as possible. It's why relic/anime gates that require crafter goods almost invariably attract a ton of whining about crafters overpricing them or something.

Hopefully the gear will be hard to but with Normal Mode, it's not like 250 gear will be especially rare.

What server do you play on. Populated servers always have people sitting around and chatting/afking. Idleshire along usually has a bunch of players. I don't get the point about MMOs needing to force group play, and yet cliques are somehow bad.

But dungeon loot is even more annoying to get than esoterics. At least tomestones are an RNG fest of "Maybe it'll drop, and maybe nobody else will need it, and if you're on the wrong class hope nobody else greeds higher than you"

Gear drops are a shitty and outdated mechanic, and i'm glad glorious nippon game designers have switched over to secondary currency farming instead.

How do you synthesise collectables?
I've done gathering collectables and have more than 1000 of the fucking things but I've never bothered with crafting.

Can you only do it with certain recipes?
I enabled Collectable Synthesis and tried to make a Lv1 recipe but it didn't work.

No dungeon-oriented MMO should require currency farming to gear players. None. Its a prop meant to make up for faulty game design or faulty policymaking. Most of the "good players" have unsubscribed or do not play FFXIV regularly enough to sustain an end game oriented community, and the Savage reads quite simply savagely rape 99% of the player base for a laundry list of reasons constantly stated time and again.

People default to the currency farm because the pain, the process, and/or the reward is too much to justify the investment required. Nevermind how theres no real reason to have top tier gear anyway, since pvp is ass and you kill things like 20-30 seconds faster.

You can do it with anything I believe, though I've never actually tried doing it for fun on something like a level 1 recipe though, so idk what happened in your case.

The gist is you get a tab in your timers window that tells you which items can be turned in as collectables for the day (changes everyday like gc turnins), and you hand them in for red and blue scrips, and xp if you're not 60 yet on that class.

It's just a buff you click on and off, you learn the skill when your crafting class is high enough to synthesize collectables. You can activate it before you craft, or anytime during the crafting process, and upon completing the craft you'll just get a collectable version of that item instead of its NQ/HQ version.

>Nevermind how theres no real reason to have top tier gear anyway, since pvp is ass and you kill things like 20-30 seconds faster.
Yes, welcome to MMOs. This is every single MMO. Have you only recently become aware of the treadmill?

They do. Don't be retarded.

>Yes, welcome to MMOs.

Third generation MMOs where the player interaction doesn't matter. You're probably too young to know anything better, so I'll excuse your ignorant ass.

It's true though, half the reason the rts genre died and got overthrown by mobas was because they're just too hard to play.

Even a dumbed down meme version of an rts like verminion is more mechanically difficult to play than any conventional MMO activity. If you logged your APM while raiding and while playing verminion (playing it well mind you), my guess is the latter would comfortably double the former at least.

My first MMO was everquest, however I never got far enough to see the theoretical "endgame" or even the general mid game of it. I spent months lost and wandering as a newbie. Ragnarok Online came next, and that's the MMO I hold most dearly to me. Started back during the open alpha and betas, missed out on much of the closed beta unfortunately. Played that regularly for about 7 years, and off-and-on for about 4 more years after that.

But thank you for your assumptions, assclown. How about you with your "generations" of MMOs like they're a quantifiable substance? To me, everything post World of Warcraft is permanently tainted, as its the most successful MMO to date literally everybody tries to copy its horrible HORRIBLE design. The genre has not been the same since, so to me there's only two generations. Pre-WoW and post apocalypse.

RTS died because it was a shitty genre. Every RTS games emphases on knowing the right build order rather than strategy. After you've become "good" at a RTS game every single game will just look the same as there's one best way to build stuff and you will only do that.

The RTS genre worked before because everyone just played it casually and not that much in multiplayer(at least not competitive).

Turns out you can only do it for recipes which have a "Collectable synthesis enabled" tag on them.
So now I'm going to churn out 100 Agate Rings of Fending.
Thanks.

The RTS genre died because the console powers that be coerced the leading RTS companies to make their next games for consoles or to switch to consoles entirely, which predictably resulted in failed products which cost many companies a lot of money (and even sank a developer). Its why Relic and Blizzard came to become genre leaders after the 2000s because they stayed on PC, which has always been the natural platform for RTS games. RTS games have since been succeeded by the more streamlined and simpler MOBA platform, which is a leading genre in video games.

You're just making excuses in your head.

You played EQ1, which was literally the WoW of its time, and then RO for basically a whole decade, and think thats all there was to the first and second MMO generations. You practically robbed yourself of the vibrant creativity which made up all the wildly different MMOs of those eras. I don't really care for your opinion at this point, and you should take care not to pass off your opinion as if it was fact.

>So now I'm going to churn out 100 Agate Rings of Fending.
Oh yeah, its 100 crafting collectables, 300 is for gathering collectables. That and at least one 60 crafter and one 60 gatherer and you're good.

Which is really easy if you ask me. At first I was under the impression if you qualified to be a mentor via the crafting route for example, you could only use the crafting mentor crown - but turns out any mentor can use any of the crowns.

The 1000 dungeons bit for the DoW requirement is insane, ive been playing since heavensward launched and I think I'm only at 400ish or something.

I have the 1000 dungeons achievement, but that's because I've been playing since 2.0. Worst case you spam Ifrit NM unsynced a couple hundred times.
The only thing cockblocking me from becoming a mentor right now are the 100 crafting collectables and the lack of a level 60 tank. I have zero desire to level a tank class, so I'll just spam collectables for half an hour and be done with it.

Thanks.

>I have zero desire to level a tank class
Try it out sometime man.

I didn't have any interest in leveling Tanks either, but I was interested in Dark Knight, so I wound up playing that, and really enjoyed myself. And then after leveling pretty well everything else, I decided to go back and try the other two too.

WAR is certainly the most fun. Like, I adore Dark Knight just because I'm an edgy, greatsword-loving faggot, but Warrior is all kinds of fun.

>2016
>payed sub model

I don't know, I have 8 WoW tokens but Legion looks like a horrible grind and part of me thinks that if I have to grind for my character, then my character should at least look great after I'm done grinding.

Why did Alphinaud turn from a level-headed idealistic nerd into a bumbling retard after Krile shows up?

Because Krile is best potato.

>"Two nukes weren't enough" - Screwattack

Because he's a 17-year-old teen genius who has been through Hell and back, learned and grown from that experience.

Krile meanwhile knew him as an 11-year-old preteen genius, and has a thousand and one embarrassing stories relating to such. Thus, her presence leaves him on edge, a physical reminder and representation of a time in his life he'd much rather forget.

Basically, seeing her reminds him of what an idiot he used to be, and causes him to revert to acting like an idiot out of preoccupation with those thoughts.

>gear is the only thing you can sell as a crafter

top jej

he wants to fill that potato with his sour cream

Such is the prerogative of a healthy youth.

What's the fastest way to gear up for 3.4?
(I wish they'd abolish tome caps 2 weeks before a patch)

>That whole trailer

Every time

I mean this in the best posssible way, but these free trailers are always the best part of the experience.

do you want daddies cummies too?

Why play FFXIV when you can play the superior mmo (wildstar) right now?

Just show up? I mean literally everything you can get now is going to be replaced, on day 1 even if you buy the i250 crafteds.

But if you just want to go into the patch with the best possible gear, then its just a matter of emptying all your lore into i230 lore gear, and upgrading it to i240 depending on how many void ark/mhach tokens you have/are willing to farm.

>mfw they said they said they're gonna butcher WAR/SCH with the new expansion

REEEEEEEEE

Did you know that completing activities without a guide actually increases your problem solving skills and boosts your sex life? It's true!

Wildstar is much better now and the dungeons and combat is way better than FF14 but its fucking dead a fuck and fixed some of its major problems too late.

NOBODY will invest into a themepark mmo with fear of shutting down over their heads.

People play X|V for the story and boss fights.

When is 5.0

new thread, lads?

There's one up already

>this one isn't at bump limit yet
>new thread is also almost at bump limit

wew

There's one up on /vg/ too if you'd prefer.

I just met this tater-tot and I can't take her seriously at all with that adorable fucking hood.

krile is third best girl

oddly enough, despite her kitty hood she's quite the ball buster and repeatedly claims Alphinaud's ass for her personal amusement. She also does the same to Unukhalhai.

She's definitely into /ss/

That hoodie is honestly so retarded when you think about it, there actually exist people with cat ears in that universe those hoodies would make sense to wear.
But for a little shitstain like her to wear it just to look more cute is just retarded when there's actually people with cat ears living already.

could be a mark of office. maybe the first sharlayan super-scholar was a miqo'te and thats a sort of homage? maybe she keeps gadgetry inside them like batman?

the ears originate in FF3 as the Devout class wore them, and Krile in FF5's white mage skin had cat ears.

The cute hoodie obscures her sex appeal. She strips that shit off with a smug wink and Alphinaud would be all over her.

>strips it off
>not strips everything BUT the hood

And rob her of the headpats that she deserves? I think not!

the time for headpats is over when you get to that point

I wish ffxiv had more armor variety....

>best girl
I hope the first on that list is Matoya.
