When you land from a jump while throwing a grenade your character slides forward during the tossing animation.

im hoping it was everyones skyrim that does that or maybe its just my mods. But IS it skyrim?

>If you save at a certain point in the game and load, a vital character will disappear and you will never be able to complete the game with that file.

skyrim, though i had mods installed

also that bug is incredible

Saving on a certain area the savefile erases itself
Said place is about halfway the story

If you jump high enough using platforms and boxes, you can walk on top of the sky

If you die on a portal, you respawn with zero health in the next area.

Side effects are chance for invulnerability and not being able to fire the main weapon.

Kingdom Hearts DDD? The same exact shit happens with Young Xehanort.

VLR

Skyward Sword, they even put out some kind of nig rig eShop patch that rolls your save back but doesn't actually fix the bug.

Big Rigs

I'm not sure if this is documented very well, because it was such a rare thing, but the first batch of CDs of this game were pressed incorrectly causing crucial sprite files to be missing/corrupted. The game could still be installed and started normally, but all affected sprites would be absent, rendering the game literally unplayable.

This demo can wipe your memory cards.

It had a ratchet and clank demo on it.

The original version of this game couldn't deal with rejection very well, so it deleted a bunch of vital system files whenever someone would attempt to uninstall it.

The demo disc had Ratchet and Clank on it, but it was a specific game demo that nuked your memory cards.

Dark Souls PTD

You climb ladders by running up them but you can't run directly at them you have to do it at an angle for it to actually work.

Force fields which are designed to require an item to get past are in fact possible to just barge straight through, allowing some levels to be solved in a few seconds instead of several minutes.

That's the one!

Scaling a fence in the starting area of the game lets you into the hardest levels but if you make it out alive it gives you best gear and makes you unstoppable online by letting you fight lower level players with endgame gear

What are pneumatically controlled buttons and how do they cause you physical harm?

Danganronpa: Zettai Zetsubou Shoujo

Happened to me a week ago or something

There's a dead zone above the missile turret where you can put an air unit and the turret can't target it

They're analog instead of digital. My guess is that the machine measures the flow rate of air through an orifice, with the button acting as a pneumatic cylinder. It may also measure pressure in a cavity below the button. Button pushed with more force = more pressure in the cavity. I think you can guess how that went wrong.

If a vehicle blows up there's a chance that the players can still hear its engine running where it exploded.

these 3 fine fellows consistently get stuck on trees

Sometimes, killing a person under the effects of paralysis will cause their body to lose its solid state and basically become a stretchy mess on the ground.

>pneumatically controlled buttons
Basically slam hard to win.

>how do they cause you physical harm?
The rubber dome presumably wore off pretty quick and you could injure yourself by landing directly on the edge of the hole.

Did people punch it too hard? Did the button explode? Maybe I'm an idiot because I'm not sure I'm getting it

Skyrim

Game doesn't have a "Quit to desktop" selection, so to stop if you have to alt + F4

>ascending a ladder too fast will sometimes cause the anticheat system to kick you

>Can't pass through an area unless you have vsync turned on

>Did people punch it too hard? Did the button explode?
That's my guess. Pressure levels would spike much higher than the cylinder (button) was rated for, causing catastrophic failure.
It's hard to know without knowing how the buttons actually work, though.

Can confirm this happens on the Xbox version as well and boy is it annoying.

>When you alt+F4 to close the game it just hangs forever and you can't even get into task manager because it stays as the primary window so you have to restart the computer to close the game

you can cause the character to scream in an endless loop

Well, the game's carts and horses flip and turn all sorts of directions in the beginning of the game if you don't limit the framerate to 60 or less.

A railgun that had bullet velocity so fast the game never registered any actual hits it made on targets rendering it dead weight. It is often a newbie trap for new players, boasting relatively good stats.

I mean, at that time the Wii wasn't really capable of patching games in the way that other consoles were. The console itself could get updates, but you hardly ever saw a Wii game itself get an update. They did the best they could with the technology at hand at he time.

If you eject the disc while on the world map, you can walk through mountains and water until you put the disc back in. A common application of this is permanently replacing the main character with a popular guest character, making this glitch a hilarious coincidence given the subject matter of the game's story.

In the shop, press right and confirm at the exact same time when bringing an item to an empty slot in your inventory. Instead of grabbing the item your cursor was over, you'll grab a glitch item you can't sell back. Depending on which item you were hovering over, which shop you were in and where you were putting it, you can get a glitch item that upgrades your weapons to maximum and trivializes the game.

Morrowind and then for no reason there's a giant unending ocean underneath the floor. Scared the shit out of me when it happened as a kid.
