And biting your rewards out of the enemies' corpses once you've murdered them.

I finished that mission awhile ago, all you had to do was pop health boosters and you were good to go. The white soldiers missed like 90% of their attacks and Magatsu is piss easy compared to Mukuro who shits out AOEs as long as the face isn't broken. The only hard part was fighting the stupid Blitz Hannibal at the start in the tiny ice corridor and you can kill him in 1 blood rage.

So I made a blast gun, made a custom bullet (light of ruin I think) and Im pretty underwhelmed. The damage is okay-ish but it takes far too long to get the required OP and if I miss the sweetspot it makes pathetic damage, resulting in a huge DPS loss compared to my assault gun.

I dont have any skills though, so Im sure part of the reason why Im so disappointed is the fact that Im lacking them and that assault guns work well enough even without a certain skill setup. So which skills do I need other than frugal and trigger happy? And are there certain bullets I need to have? I have the feeling I use light of ruin "wrong".

Sometimes I forget why I dont use my old buster + blast. Getting full charge with 2 hits from the sword then doing around 10k with 1 of the 2 shots from the blast gun make things go pretty quick.

you're vastly overestimating the utility of ruin's range

the aoe of saber has far more utility than the added range of ruin. you can use it to quickly wipe adds, easily strike 3 targets rapidly and 2 targets without having to line them up. not needing to aim precisely also makes saber much faster to shoot than ruin, especially vs multiple targets

Nothing's really confirmed at the moment. Since Bamco gave GE2 a PC release at the same time as its console version I would expect such. Though you should still pester Bamco about it to be sure. As long as they see demand it should happen

I like the idea that they might give multiple slots for blood arts/predator styles/etc, but there's a limited number of total slots. So you could have a mix of styles and arts, all arts, all styles, etc, but only 2-3 Things at once so things don't go TOO crazy.

There's a good amount of options, but I would argue that FW has better options for waifu making.

it has more outfits but less customization for everything else. if you want a different colored shirt you have to make another one and there might only be four different colors for outfits

on the subject of character customization it looks like the characters from the GEO trailer are all the same height.

Sometimes it feels like it, but that could just be tight ass hitboxes and just barely dodging something. The biggest example is dodging just right into a gliding Chi-you and not getting hit, gotta dodge close to his body but still under the wing.

This seems to be it, damage seems a bit spotty though. Sim shows it doing about 4k, but tried it on a Sairel and got about 400. Probably need to try it against other aragamis with better weakpoints to aim for though.

well there is perfect guarding where you take no damage if you time it right
there are even skill that give you health or stamina back for guarding at the right time
also if you guard against a aoe attack during the first hit you can walk right into the damage area and it will no longer hit you
so yeah learn 2 guard

I used assault a bit in the first few difficulties since you could swap to normal ammo and regen, and it was fun, but its loud as fuck and damage is shit compared to melee so I gave up and moved to blast.

If you get Lv10 Bombardier you can potentially spam some devastating assault bullets.
The damage number don't seem high because it's tons of small hits, but the total damage per OPbar with the right bullets is actually very fucking high. Add to that the endless stun of Assault fire & Ultra fast OP Regen.

It doesn't do shit as flashy as a Blast Gun, but it's wholly effective.

Blast & Assault = good.
Sniper & Shotgun = for funsies.

Never even realized those orbs did that until the 3rd time I fought him. then I just fought him very carefully, avoiding every hit until he died. If you use Livie you get 1 free rez, otherwise i think you can buy those HP max increase items.

I'm using the unmodified cake gun at the moment, and my non-regen bullets hit for a few hundred for a regular shot and about 700-1000 per bomb module. You can fire multiple of either kind every few seconds, so it's pretty good damage for something so safe. Just have to watch your timing so you don't get reduced damage from them flinching.

You don't really need guides for assault bullets since your modules are so limited and it has lock-on by default. Just cram in whatever fits in your OP budget and be sure to test to make sure things don't cancel. Consider using an orb to help with that.

Assault is pretty simple, bullet for generating OP, and bullets for dumping your OP. Make a self-invuln bullet if you plan to stay in perma gun mode.

You can combo into blast OP reserve special action from melee, if you change option to change back to melee weapon, it will barely interrupt your combo.

I've been using the combo to reserve, but depending on your BA and how you are playing its not that useful. Using aerial attacks as short sword you can't use it, and its not much help using charged buster sword either.

I need to do more with normal combos especially since it makes it easier to keep devour and burst up, but its less fun.

The +1 upgrade is separate from the skill slots. You can actually only install the +1 stat upgrade without the accompanying skill.

Either overwrite the skill you used previously, or just don't put the skill on - that's an option with the +1s. You can add the god arc, not install the skill, and then just get the +1. And if you overwrite, you keep the +1, because that's part of the weapon now.

get Mutual Burst for your unit equip slot if you haven't already, once you get a couple devours in the beginning of the fight, all you need to do is shoot an aragami bullet from time to time to your allies to keep your burst up.
