Buy PS4 game

>buy PS4 game
>go see trophies
>only 22% of people who played the game earned the trophy for completing it

why do normies not finish video games?

I never finished Bloodboring, stopped playing a ways after the aliens "twist"

what game tho

why do normies finish video games?
why do normies buy playstation?
why do normies buy nintendo?
why do normies either finish video games or not finish them?
why do normies play video games?

Because normies don't care for completion. they finish the game, and then don't care for anything after. What a waste.

What good is finishing games?
Trophies and achievements are for jaded normies who need external motivation to enjoy games.

Says you.

Get bored with it. I bought a bunch of games on PS4 when I first got it and I was all excited since I never really had anything as a kid. So I just went and bought games, multiplats, exclusives, shit, whatever. Didn't finish half of them. Some I very much regret buying, like Borderlands.

Reading comprehension

>only 40% of players beat Gascoigne

>normie

Kill yourself, it's normalfag.

>only .1% have beaten on the hardest difficulty
>hardest difficulty isn't even that hard

Fucking casuals

I'm not an autist, if I don't like a game I stop playing it.

But then, I hate video games.

Because all you have to do is play 5 minutes of a game to be able to tell all your friends that you "played" something.

>get trophy just for starting the game
>98.5% of players have earned this trophy

>only 22% of people who played the game earned the trophy for completing it

what?

>buy a ps3 chrirstmas bundle
>load up the last of us because Cred Forums claimed it was the citizen kane of gaming
>only able to play around 3 hours before i get bored
>give away ps3 to a younger sibling

I'm never going back to consoles ever again

>get trophy for beating first boss
>50% of players have earned this trophy

Too busy working and maintaining real life than to pour into a video game that has hoops and tricks to jump through.

>get trophy for finishing the 1st chapter
78% of players got it

>get trophy for finishing the 2nd chapter
>60% of players got it

>get trophy for finishing the 3rd chapter
>48% of players got it

this is always what it is when I look at trophies. Normies drop videogames once the tutorial is over

Retard.

>Buy game on steam
>Start playing, get some random piss easy achievement (like "first kill").
>Check it out along with all other achievements
>"Only 35% of people that own this game got this achievement"

Yeah... right...

The only game I've ever seen like that is resonance of fate. It got down to like 8% actually beating that turd, and almost nobody getting a plat

Stop buying humble bundle trash then.

Because most people are morons. That percentage you're seeing is representative of the state of humanity in general. 80% of people are worthless morons.

>What good is finish my sandwich?
>What good is shaving?
>What good is pulling my pants up?
>What good is finishing my sentences?

Fucking kill yourself. What good is living your life to completion amirite?

there's a difference between real life and video games dude

name 3 (three) differences

>crypt of the necrodancer
>complete zone 1
>47% of players have this achievement
>by the time you get to "all zones" (i.e. beat the game) the percentage is at 4.4
>it's even lower for the easy mode character

That's some of the quickest falloff I've seen in a game before.

>PS3 RLOD
>buy console off CL
>reregister my old PSN
>because there's Saint's Row 4 data left over from previous owner, the game is listed on my trophies
Fuck this shit, I don't want to play Saint's Row anything.

real life has:
>no protagonist
>no save points
>no fun

Excuse me?

Not really. Leaving a game unfinished is the same as leaving anything else unfinished.

You're a moron and the literal definition of a "casual". You can accept that and move on, or you can delude yourself. But that's the deal here. You're a casual, and that's a bad thing. Just own it and move on, unless you're too insecure. Are you too insecure? Can't accept that you're not properly committed to gaming as a hobby? Can't just be whoever YOU are? Gotta pretend like you're good at everything?

>stopped playing a ways after the aliens "twist"

uhh, that wasnt a twist dumbass.

Sometimes people just lose interest in a game, user.

>there's a difference between real life and video games
>not really
>NOT REALLY
dude stop you're fucking killing me

Someboy post the Gamercat comics

What does that have to do with fact that steam is lying?

I had a girlfriend who had a kid, tell ya what I had no time to play vidya, it was either I get my dick wet that day or play vidya

>didn't even consider the idea I was putting forth
>just leapt to the dumbest possible interpretation so he can continue to shitpost

I love it when you guys do this. The mental gymnastics people display when uncomfortable truths are put in front of them. Leaving a game unfinished is the same as leaving anything else unfinished.

>caring about trophies

yeah, but why

>caring about trophies other people have earned

go outside once in a while

>tfw you finish a long and nice single player game
>tfw you are no longer looking forward to come home to play that game

Fuck. It is like finish the last chapter of a great book. You're just done.

That's just plain not true retard, that's why I didn't even humor it with a contradiction.

>don't finish my taxes
>get audited for thousands of dollars
>don't finish The Last of Us
>nothing happens
wew totally the same thing right?

so do you have autism or OCD?

Seems pretty clear cut fagget, fuck the kid.

I never finished Fallout 4 for obvious reasons.

I don't finish every game i play, either. What's your point?

you chose the vidya, right?

>get audited
>die
>nothing happens

>don't finish game
>die
>nothing happens

>finish game
>die
>nothing happens

cuck af tbqh

It is hard to finish a game with buttons sewn over your eyes...

>hur durr nihilism
wow you totally showed me, why don't you just kill yourself since you're going to die anyway?

Being a quitter is bad.

>It's not real so it doesn't matter!

You're just using typical normie mental gymnastics. Accept your inadequacy and move on. All you're doing is making excuses.

Actually I'd rather spend my time finish videogames if it's all the same to you

If steam does lie it's in the other direction since you can unlock achievements through programs. Some of the "completed 100% of the game" achievements are at like 10% or more in some games.

Because you are a fucking idiot. PS4 trophies do not auto-synch. So most normies that do complete the game, never update their list, which never sends to Sony their statistic.

>YOU HAVE TO FINISH EVERYTHING YOU START 100% OR YOU'RE A QUITTER AND A FAILURE IN LIFE BECAUSE YOU STOPPED PLAYING A VIDEO GAME ONCE
jesus just stop baiting already, if somehow you aren't baiting and you actually feel this way I suggest you seek help because that kind of attitude is not normal.

Oh so you aren't a nihilist? You're saying that what you have in life matters? If you finish your taxes and don't get fucked out of your money you can finish more video games and have more time to do it.

>OR YOU'RE A QUITTER AND A FAILURE IN LIFE
Never said that. Just that you become a casual or a pleb in any context where you quit. Just have the strength of character to admit your shortcomings wherever and whatever they are. Is it a catastrophe to be a casual at gaming or reading or cooking or anything else? No. Just be man enough to admit what you are.

>donald trump
>church
>sex

>PS4 trophies do not auto-synch
yes they do. as long as youre connected online, it will auto sync

>CASUAL!
>CASUAL!
>YOU'RE A FUCKING CASUAL JUST ADMIT IT!
who cares?

Necrodancer isn't out of laziness though, the game has a pretty steep learning curve. I got through zone 1 last week but it took me forever and a LOT of failed attempts.

I love the game and I plan to try to get all the way through it, but it's achievement falloff is probably from people ragequitting after dying so many times in zone 1.

...

>load up the last of us because Cred Forums claimed it was the citizen kane of gaming
you know it was a joke right? Even sonyfags don't really believe that

>church

I do. Because a lot of people are really fucking deluded about this sort of thing. A ton of my friends would like to claim they play games as a hobby. 90% of them are casuals who barely complete 2-3 games a year if any at all.

I spend AT LEAST 50 hours a week playing video games, but because I don't finish a few of them I'm a "dirty casual" compared to you.

>50 hours a week playing video games
>doesn't finish any

wew what a filthy casual

>don't finish a few
>don't finish any
spot the difference you retarded animeposter

>have 50+ games
>play a game
>get stuck
>take break
>find interest in another game
>get stuck
>take break
>find interest in another game

and so on and so on.

>game has lots of exploration
>things to collect
>rather do that than finish the story
>get exhausted and not touch the game for a while

>years ago
>friend gets fallout 3 for ps3
>says it's amazing and wants to lend it to me because it's one of his favourite games ever
>never really been interested in fallout but whatever ok
>check the trophies on his profile
>he's barely unlocked any of them
>literally massive quest related trophies not completed
Makes me sick.

Because most ps4 games are shit.

which game is that?

>Only 4% of people have finished the first loop, even with credit feeding
Why do people even buy games if they don't at least play through them once?

>check achievement stats for a game
>under 50% got the trophy that requires starting the game

>actually playing the games you buy

Holy shit this cant be real

They just can't.

>Buy PS4 game
>Finish story mode
>22% trophies

I like this post.

>Only 19.9% of player finished first day (literally less than 3% of the game) and the only moment of the game with no real difficulty
>Only 13.9% of players finished second day
>Only 3.6% of players finished playing as first character which is only 33% of the whole game
>Literally only 1.4% finished the whole game

...

This is why the industry as a whole is fighting used games and refunds. The majority of gamers buys games they end up not liking 9 times out of 10. If we had proper refunds (return for any reason for 30 days after purchase) most companies would go bankrupt almost over night.

That's good. Only the people that have actual good games would live.

Simple; if a game is shit, nobody finishes it.

Why would you play it on PS3 and not PS4 you stupid cunt

Honestly, I buy some games for my ps3 just because it was cheaper than the ps4 version, and usually it's a game that has been out for a while, so I can understand going back a generation

>buying games on PC
Lol

Im not a casual and quit a lot of games because they're shit

If only x% percent earned the trophy you get for beating the game, it means that x% beat the game.

What's multi player?

It used to be I would give up of something was too hard but now I often get too depressed to go on. Sometimes I literally can't try because I can't pay attention.

>mfw I will never catch em all

...

>You will never catch all Pokemon
>You will never beat Sephiroth in Kingdom Hearts
>You will never clear the special world in Super Mario World
>You will never get the true ending in Nier
>You will never collect all 7 chaos emeralds
>You will never get all 20 hearts -- Without a guide you fuck
>You will never be happy

Damn, user. Damn. You're pathetic.

A lot of them

They have girlfriends and jobs

I always finish a game, but never replay them. If I can figure out a 100% completion in the first run, I go for it, but if not, it will never happen.

There are too many games to play. Only repayable games for me are arcade type (fightan etc)

So? That should make it so it takes them longer to complete the game. Why would it stop them from completeing the game at all?

It's unsettling to know that people exist that haven't downed every colossi. It's fuking disgusting.
