Think chess.

Its why custom moves are fucking stupid.

What is your point?

That custom moves are fucking stupid

What the hell is a custom move? I can't think of a single competitive game that lets you have a "mysterious custom move".

>trashy side cut
wonder what her wonderful personality is like

I mean any game that lets you customize your character and forces the player to first figure out what weapon/ability/armor you are using FIRST. Plenty of PVP and Competitive games have mechanics like this.

Im sure we can totally determine her personality off a hair cut

if it's trashy as a side cunt, I'm sure it's not the worlds biggest mystery

People are more generic than you think.

side-cuts are literal memes

t. guy with a side-cut

I've known some cool girls who did their hair like this for fun, it doesn't mean anything

Like what? Name one.

I kind of agree with hits. With fighting games for example, comes a very lengthy process of memorization that is hardly related to skill or strategy.

Take characters like El Fuerte as an example, where you first few matches playing against him will probably revolve around getting your shit slapped and hardly being able to counter them.

This is lame.

On the other hand, games where only a few moves are possible are boring. So I'm hoping competitive games will eventually evolve into a sort of middle ground, where people can combine attacks into their own unique combinations without it becoming unbalanced or unfair.

my brothers girlfirend has tons of tattoos and used to have this haircut, and shes sweet and very shy and has a secret power level (she actually plays vidya). shes also very cute, better looking than the OP's image.

to be fair though my brother also has alot of tatoos.

not everyone is a stereotype as much as some of you want to believe

>reverse image search
>"interfaithxxx white girl likes Muslim guys"

I don't know what I expected

you are retarded,

Please. I can determine the personality a person has by the way they play video games. Let alone a haircut which, for girls is something they think about hard because their image is the most important thing.

>tfw Muslim guy

no u

how are you on american internet?

>partially shaved head
Was it not obvious?

>muslim guy
>tumblr file name

Like clockwork

Name 10 games that do this

the fuck?

Figuring out your opponent is part of the competition, you autist.

Probably better than yours

Your theory is shit.
MOBA's have a competitive scene, but have fog of war
Shooters with competitive scene (CS:GO) have the same, although not exactly Fog of War
RTS: FoW

you can actually figure out her personality quite easily off a photo. for a woman, looks are very important. choosing to shave off part of your hair, the hair that you've taken care of for months using expensive products, is a big decision. it's a "look" that's so uniquely strange and grotesque, and obviously is a means to attract attention. she's also white, and we all know how fucking boring white women are. it's safe to conclude that this lady is a huge attention seeker, more so than the average woman, and should probably be avoided.

But with custom moves you still know what moves your opponents COULD do, it's just a matter of whether or not they do them.

>shaved head
into the trash

I'm not sure what you mean. Are you talking about ASSFAGGOTS which have large ability diversity? Even there, the pool of moves is restricted - knowing the full universe of moves/abilities is part of the skill involved.

Off yourself

Lol Runes and summoner spells

But the fog of war doesn't stop you from knowing what your opponent Will do, it just stops us from seeing it!

why do you think a woman would shave off part of her hair? why do you think she would go out of her way to damage her skin? people all act with rational self interest. it is unnatural for a woman to make any move that could damage her body. tattoos may look good for the first few years you get them, but will ultimately become hideous in nature as time passes. can you really say that this kind of person is stable then? someone with self destructive tendencies such as these will no doubt be a drag on resources.

Any one who over analyzes as much as you do is probably not mentally stable. Alot of what you typed out is cringey dude

Believe it or not some people find enjoyment with that type of thing, and simply think of it as nothing more than a hobby.

People on this board collect anime toys and display them on their shelves. some people get tattoos and funky haircuts.

That's just wrong.
You can take a guess at what the opponent is doing.

every action we make has an impact. before you do something, don't you stop to wonder if what you're doing is right? if it's the right thing to do? living in the moment is fine, but you need to have some goals in mind and a strong moral compass otherwise you'll regret a lot of the things you do. tattoos and piercings are stupid. what could be so important that you would want to carve into your skin? why would you go out of your way to pierce your flesh for the purpose of installing jewelry that could fit just as well around your wrist or fingers?

So sports are now not competitive?

I'm going to guess your a virgin right

videogames

Wow dude you know there's a whole world outside your moms basement

If you want easy mode sure.

Go back cod kiddy.

>custom moves are stupid
that doesn't hold up under your definition of competitive games.
take sm4sh. you can argue whether it should be a competitive game when it was built as a party game, but people play it competitively, so we'll take that as a given
it enables players to select custom moves. the thing is, if you're a competitive player, you'll know what the move pools are for each character, and after about twenty seconds of fighting you'll know which specific moves they picked

>she's also white, and we all know how fucking boring white women are

>implying their are infinite custom moves
If we're playing Smash each move only has 2 extra versions.
So you're saying you can't know every possible custom when there are only a finite amount of them? That makes no sense. Unless you mean, you won't know WHICH customs your opponent has. But then, shouldn't you just assume they could have any combination of them and base your movements on avoiding all variations. It wouldn't take long for all customs to be revealed in a battle, they'd use them all fairly soon unless it's something like a very gimmicky move.
Or to divert that issue, just make each player reveal which customs their characters are equipped with pre-battle.
And at the end of the day, customs were made for fun, and are great for casual use. In that regard they're definitely not stupid. They're already banned anyway. I've heard some say they might divide the community into "non-customs" and "customs" and would damage Smash's unification as a single group.

Who is this trouser arouser?

SAUCE ON GIRL

What in God's holy name did I just read

Is this an extremely elaborate ruse

> Theory: A game can only be competitive if you are allowed to know every possible move your opponent can do at any time.
Which is why something like Hearthstone is a glorified casino game. Sure, you can be comparatively better or worse at it, but ultimately it all comes down to luck, not skill, because a human can't play enough games over the course of one season to make the luck component average out.

BUT THAT'S JUST A THEORY

Hello newfag.

>half shaved head
absolutely trash whore tier

I feel as though games that are balanced as such where knowing your own abilities and reacting to new enemies and strategies is more important than just memorizing your opposition.

Being able to use your skills and actively apply them to any situation is far more interesting than just knowing your opponent inside and out and knowing exactly what they can do and how they can be exploited.

Theory: OP is a fag

Think gay.

It's why straight sex is fucking stupid in OP's head.

Sports teams that compete in national leagues do not know what the other team is capable of. They only have a general purpose knowledge based on their past display.

As well as the opposite, a man may be able to catch a 30 yrd throw and run into the endzone, but it also unlikely and won't happen every game. You may assume this guy cannot leap over two of your defensivemen, but there's always a chance for it to happen.

Your theory is fucking trash.

Kind of like how all of Cred Forums is a whiny contrarian cunt who thinks they are smarter than the average person, but instead use their shitty upbringing to develop this all hating personality cause "normie people r bad."

Generic as fuck indeed.

get a job, socialize, and leave you parents house

Literally anything can be competitive as long as two or more people compete with each other. You can make masturbating competitive for fucks sake.

lol

This post is pure fedora, all the cliche memes people spout because woman won't look at them.

name 100 games that do this

Hey buddy, when you cut your hair, it isn't permanently gone.

Not him, but I think his point is that you're still aware of their capabilities.
If your CT you know that the terrorists have access to AKs. You know what routes they can take, what weapons they have access to.
It's not about knowing what they're GOING to do, but what they're CAPABLE of doing.

Kind of stupid. Obscuring your intentions is an important part of any truly competitive game, there is no game in which a player is able to comprehend exactly what the player can do unless they are omnipotent or have already secured victory.

In chess you can very clearly see what the next turn could be, but what your opponent may be trying to accomplish 20 turns from now is impossible to discern unless you're some kind of genius, you can only vaguely suspect what their strategy might be or where the pieces may fall 20 turns from now, humans are not computers that can calculate every possible outcome at any given moment in anything but the most basic of games like tic-tac-toe.

Limiting what each player can do so you can better predict what the next move will be makes no difference with regards to how "competitive" a game is, unless you want to suggest games like poker, which are played based upon nigh-unknowable information, can not be considered competitive, which I think is a stupid notion.

oh shit
I found the OP pic on /soc/
