Pirate a game

>pirate a game
>don't play it

ok

Does that count as pirating at all?

>pirate AAA game
>play for 5 minutes
>uninstall cause it's shit
>donate $60 to the torrent site as a thanks for saving me from wasting $60 on a garbage game

>pirate a game thousands of times
>the company eventually goes bankrupt from all the money that they keep losing from me

>think about pirating fallout 4
>actually decide to buy it
who here is enjoying the new dlc? todd does it again, fucking 10/10 GOTY

>buy game
>it's shit
>pirate 100 copies as revenge for wasting my money

Every dollar they lose on my piracy is well deserved.

Shilling aside I somehow put just over 200 hours into the game. No DLC. It's empty as fuck and every location just has garbage enemies instead of quests scattered around like NV or Skyrim, but I apparently got my money's worth.

LOCK THIS MADMAN UP

>pirate a game
>delete it without installing

>buy game
>plat it

seriously, paying for stuff is a great incentive to enjoy them

>pirate game
>.exe file fails to open the game
>give up

Here's your (you)

>Pirate a game
>Buy a $30 Blu Ray next day

...it

ok

>buy game
>it's shit
>force yourself to play it because you paid for it

i think i misread your post. no DLC? i think you meant to say that you already bought the season pass

zero fucking content in your post, why respond?

My steam library suggest otherwise.

>he needs an incentive to enjoy games

Here's another (You)

>buy game full price at launch with season pass and DLC and preorder bonus
>play it

>steam
there's your problem

I- I want to play Stardew Valley but I just don't have time ;_;

>Buy game
>play for 5 minutes
>refund it
>pirate it

I do this so I can learn my lesson about being scammed by shitty developers/publishers. Also allows me to shit on the game properly.

>pirate game
>play for hours
>buy it when it goes 75 or more % off to show support

>dont like company
>pirate their games more than once

Stop RUINING MY INDUSTRY

...

>Don't have money
>Pirate it

Fallout 4

>pirate game
>buy it if I like it

I unironically do this. I wanna buy games I like, but fuck ever paying more than $10 for a game.

>pirate old game ported to PC
>glitch fucks up with the game, only playable in subhuman conditions
>look up fix, turns out you can only get it to work in a Steam installation
>give up

this user gets it.

>there are people who actually think that this is how it works

>pirate game
>enjoy it a lot
>don't buy it since I already played it anyway

>implying it isn't

>buy game
>its shit
>send steam refund
>get money back
>buy good game

>buy game
>play it for two hours tops
>watch several multiple hour long lets plays of it on youtube
>return game

>want to play old game
>cant find any torrent with seeds

it isn't.

>implying it is

>never buy a game in my life
>alway pirate shit
end buying transaction on f2p games

>implying implied implications

>pirate a h-game
>incompetent at computers and can't figure out how to install it
Fucking Illusion.

I implied nothing, I explicitly stated my stance.
Which game? As far as I know most Illusion games install similar to each other.

Fuck this. I don't even want a invite, I just want to know which sekrit club everybody uses.

honey select.
I think the problem right now is I don't have applocale because windows 10 and don't know what alternative to use.

>buy game
>>its shit
>send steam refund
>your request is rejected because you've played 2.1 hours

Can't you switch your system locale to japanese? It's by far the easier way. I don't know how to do it in windows 10, but in Windows 7 you go to control panel -> clock language and region -> Region and language -> administrative tab -> change system locale
You'll need to reboot but it should work. Pic related.
Also,
>windows 10

I pm'd you it, enjoy

>this guy

>Download and seed game into 100s high ratios
>End up buying a copy before I get around to playing it

Thanks ;) locking thread.

Pic related, getting stuff for free spoils the fuck out of you.

It really fucking helps for games that have a slow start.

>pirate game
>play it
>enjoy it
>doesn't matter, life is still shit and I'm unfulfilled

you might want to consider different hobbies, user.

>paying money for the garbage the game industry has been shitting out in the last 10 years

At this point only buyfags need to explain themselves.

>hoppy

There's no such for the poor. Video games isn't a hobby it's just entertainment.

>stole a pc
>never used it

>Is this illegal?

Dumbass

just like literally every other hobby then?

Not the same thing, but here's your (you) anyways.

>you can endlessly and effortlessly produce identical copies of physical hardware

No. Hobbies have passion and dedication behind them. Entertainment is just consumption.

Are you brain dead? how is this a (you) meme?

>pirate game
>forget about it
>game goes on sale
>buy it
>never play it

Because doing Ctrl + C\Ctrl + V isn't stealing. If it were, then it would be treated the same in the court of law. But it's not. Stop equating Illegal copying of files to the theft of physical items. You're inflating the seriousness of one while deflating the seriousness of the other.

So you're trying to say its not illegal because its over the internet?

I said it's not stealing, stop trying to change your stance. If it were stealing it would be treated as such. The illegal copying of data is NOT the same as the theft of a physical item.

Obviously. Just in the same way rape isn't treated the same way as murder.

download a billion roms

never have any interest in ever playing them.

>free shit lol

>find out one of my friends is an anti-piracy shitter
>I've seen him emulating pokemon games for years multiple times
>ask him about it
>says it doesn't count as piracy

Emulation is for nerds anyways.

>Buy a game.
>play it.
>enjoy it.

>rent game
>get banned for abusing hat store system
>lose my licence to access my legally rented games
>HL3 get delayed

This. I've pirated all my games since I was a .. younger, but I have recently bought the ones I really enjoyed. Even if I don't play them again, ever.
