I'm surprised EA is ok with this, even if they no longer support the game. Cool though. I never got into 2142 expect playing the piss out of the demo.

Why isn't EA shutting it down? Is this like a fake version of the game?

I'm hyped. I had fun with BF2 and I've never played 2142 but it looks fun.

i'm happy to be wrong brother but i don't see it happening. i'm aware of the bf2 pop, i've played a bit since they started the revival. 1k is decent but it's not anything too special, and i expect 2142 to be less popular than bf2 just as it was in the past. that said, i'm more than happy to be wrong. we'll see.
