Dark Souls is difficult enough to reward mastery of its mechanics and give a real sense of accomplishment when you finish.
Shadow of the Colossus is all either boss fights or traveling between those boss fights, and some of the victories feel almost tragic.
Pic related seems like a good mix.

I got it on sale and it's not really bad. It's kind of short though. I got it when it was on sale and it's definitely overpriced.
