this is a bad thread, let it fall of page 10 asap and if you have to post, use sage

I said art. not farts

Either all games are art or no games are art.

>The question is if they're good or n
Shut the fuck up.

Say no more

Awesome Sony thank you for this game :3

this is my art

>regurgitating stale meems from Sonypony's home board, Cred Forums - Television and MOVIES

Sir this is the video games board

Please, say no more.

So, user, how many times in your life did you visit a museum?

>Customer
>Art
Your counter argument is in your own post dumbass

Also saying last of us is art is like saying any Hollywood blockbuster is art, sure it can look pretty and have a nice story, but any artistic vision is lost in streamlining, demographic marketing and corporate input of such

>Customer: "I want my video game to be art"
Said no one ever

Do artists not sell their work to customers?

I want my videogame to be art

Congrats they already are

This thread will get replies and the people who post said replies will later wonder why Cred Forums is so bad

>I want a boring movie game
>Say no more, here is Quantum Break
>Thanks fampai

bump

You just contributed, chump.

I wasn't going to post but now I am just for you.

Sequel when?

2017, but do you really want one? The story is over.

That's a shot argument because not only does it dodge my argument, but also an artist doesn't cater to the customer though otherwise it's considered selling out dipshit

>the artist doesn't cater to the customer
How do we know this?

commissions are a thing. not every piece of art has to be an expression of an artist's inner faggotry. There is no definition of art that supports you. Selling out is something artists are only concerned with when they are still suckling mum's teet. Most of them end up wishing people would pay for their garbage.

>video game
>art
choose one

but isn't sony the customer here?

It's a good game actually.
