it's a "follow the car" mission

> it's a "follow the car" mission

>Timed dead-drop collection

>It's a "follow the man" mission

These missions aren't bad inherently, Ubisoft just handles them poorly.

How the fuck do the targets know that I am following them the very first time they see me? It's not like they know who I am, half the time it's a random guard who happens to have intel.

It should use a sort of three strikes system. The first time the follow target sees you, he shouldn't give it a second thought. The second or third time, maybe he'll get suspicious. Fourth or fifth time he sees you, he'll start to run.

That sounds really good, actually. And that's why ubisoft never thought of it.

>it's a "walk slowly next to an NPC and listen to his boring exposition" section

It's so simple, too.

>it's a "deliver cargo" mission

Black Flag was filled to the brim with those.

>How the fuck do the targets know that I am following them the very first time they see me?

Because you're a swole motherfucker wearing an immaculately white hood and cloak combo when everybody else near you is a filthy, emaciated beggar...

Fuck, asscreed is retarded.

At least in Unity, when you got caught, there was no game over. The dude would run, you'd tackle/kill him, and find a letter in his pocket with the info you needed.

>VC >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> all

dead, stale franchise is dead and stale... even Cred Forums autists can only so much driving and auto-aim shooting around lifeless, non interactable U.S. pondunk generica environs

they should release RDR2 already and put these GayTardAnal crapfests out to pasture

>Those missions with unique mini games only done in those missions
>they're almost always monotonous shit

Yeah sure, they might notice me standing there, but I'M JUST STANDING THERE.

Besides, in recent AC games you don't look that out of place at all.

>immaculately white hood and cloak combo
In the first game, yeah. Every other AC has dyes and alternative outfits.

Also, Altair looked similar to the priests in the game at first glance.

woah buddy I think you got the wrong game

music rhythm game in SA and that yoga thing in GTAV.

they werent hard mini games at all. I just thought they were fucking stupid.

>it's a "follow the train" mission

disregard that, I was thinking of the eavesdropping missions in 1

There are only like 1 or 2 of these missions per game. Hardly enough to get repetitive.

>it's an underwater escort mission

>universally despised mission type
>in every game after AC1
fucking why ubisoft

Yeah, bro, Unity was fucking great. I hope they'll make all the games like that. Great games for a great audience.

I see. I meant the tedious story exposition via in-game "conversation" parts. It's sort of immersive once, but they ended up dragging these out and using them way too often.

>market the fuck out of AC Unity, knowing it's going to be released with bugs, glitches, and microtransactions
>the story and characters are shit and co-op is a gimmick
>NEXT-GEN!

>Rogue gets almost no attention
>first AC to let you play as an Assassin-turned-Templar
>despite having tons of reused assets from III and IV and being on PS3/360, it's the superior game in nearly every way

If nothing else I thought the combat in Unity was pretty damn good though, before you get the ability to spam smoke bombs anyway. Of course though they threw the entire system out for Syndicate. Hoping the Unity team will bring the system back more refined for the next game.

I still need to play Rogue, I think I will download it right now

The sly cooper ones werent too bad.

>Its a timed underwater escort mission on newgame+ with a shorter time limit and none of the attributes/items you carried over do anything to help

because the worlds in sly cooper are compact and the characters are likeable

I am not cold-blooded my friend, I am cool-blooded!

GREASY SWEET

>that mission where you have to tail a fucking ship
What were they thinking.
