I'm actually really enjoying this game

I just beat chapter 2 and I've died twice, I'm pretty spooked for fighting any bosses because that chainsaw guy was strong enough and even regular enemies do a decent amount of damage.

It's one of those games where the controls take like half an hour to get used to, but once you're familiar with how they work it feels so good to clear a room of guys without taking a hit, or at least that's my experience so far. I guess if I was to compare it to anything, it'd be that moment where you're actually getting good towards the end of 1-1 in Demon's Souls and you know the move set of your weapon. I really love the i-frames as well, that kick is like something right out of God Hand.

Post what you've been recently playing, if you're enjoying it and what other experience you'd compare it to.

RE4 is one of my favorite games of all time and I only played it for the first time a few years ago
Even got 5 stars in mercenary mode with all characters but Ada

Can't wait for the HD mod to become finished in 20 years.

I'm playing on the PS4 version and it doesn't look bad, I'm not a massive graphics fag anyway so I wouldn't mind if it did.

Do I get my jacket back?

no

It looks brighter in the image, it looks better on screen. I'd use the PS4 capture function if I knew how it worked.

Youre just passed ch 2? Oh man get ready for a great game

Also no some asshat takes it away

>there are people that never played RE4
lmao

Press the Share button and then hit square to take a screenshot

are you dumb or something, you literally press a button.

>annoying inventory system

But RE4's attache case system is great.

>Merchant doesn't sell ammo
The villagers cleaned him out before you got there, that's why they're always dropping it.

Fortunately, they didn't have enough to buy the guns.

Don't you just press the PS button or whatever on your controller? Don't have a PS4 myself yet but I remember they were making a big deal out of it when they first announced the damned thing, how easy it was to snap screenshots and such.

Why did they make the flash bang so good?

Enjoy one of the greatest games ever made user
You will die like 5-6 times in the first run though
>Fortunately, they didn't have enough to buy the guns.
They could just throw infinite axe/sickle to the blue medallion and earn the free Punisher, also Ada got hit by a dart gun

Yeah the capture stuff on the PS4 doesn't really work most of the time. Best you just ignore it, lest you become a YouTuber.

Yeah, but that just saves it to the console. How easy is it to post that image here compared with just taking a photo with my phone?

>blue medallion
I just finished shooting all of those things down

Turns out they kill crows too, just found that out.

I haven't purchased the first attache case yet, but looks like that'll be the next thing I buy.

>Also no some asshat takes it away
Thankfully the stuff he's wearing looks pretty cool without it.

I'm going to ignore Cred Forums now and get back to playing, this wasn't the thread I was expecting but thanks for contributing. Bye anons!

Fuck. That shit's contagious?

It's strange really, it had no right being as good as it was.

>QTEs out the ass some that can come out of nowhere and instakill you or make you sit through cutscenes again
>half the game is an escort mission
>absolutely buttfuck retarded enemy AI
>awful dialog

But it all comes together to form a fucking amazing whole and even the stuff above adds to the charm.

No. You can buy a boss looking battle-vest later, though.

Don't worry about the jacket. New Game+ has the R.P.D outfit anyway, and that's the only right way to play the game.

I had to upload the image to twitter to get it to my PC, maybe I'm retarded but that's the easiest way I saw how to do it.

>merchant doesn't sell ammo
YOU'D THINK THAT HE WOULD

I completed this game in two days and in my sleep I could hear those undead acolytes saying 'Morir es vivir' or whatever they say.

The game has really great sound design shit like the chainsaw revving, regenerator breathing and the tazer stick are way more terrifying than the shit they are attached to.

>Merchant doesn't sell ammo
Yes, he does. If you upgrade ammo capacity on a gun, he'll re-load it to full.
It's a roundabout way, but it's something everyone does.
