LO would've been a lot better if the main story had half the quality of those side stories you collect. Even after all these years I still remember the one about the people who travel to find the origin of the wind or some such, but the only thing I remember from the main story is that Kaim's daughter dies and that they guy who was obviously evil was evil.
TLS was a big bucket of meh all around.
