You really should remember there is a block button, specially againts enemies that will jump from 10km to your face.

Their compound skills aren't bad.
HP Up and Damage Cut are good, and you'll probably want Prepared, Firm Stand, and Recovery Item Stock Up you're attempting any Perilous Challenges.

Not really. You still have to build OP to fire them. You need to invest into Frugal, Trigger Happy, Gun Atk, B Gun Attack, Bomb Master and Pyro Master to get decent numbers out of them. And you won't be able to make use of most recipies till you get Rank 6 for Anti-Grav.

You don't just make a Meteor bullet at D1 and beat the game in a few hours.

They do big numbers and stuff, in lower dif they are strong yes but in +99 they are pretty normal.
The fun about blast bullets is also the effects and cool stuff you can create. if the other guns had more slots to work with they would be useful, the only weapon that is strong on its own is the assault rifle.

I just absolutely wrecked two difficulty 8 Chi yous with it, took about 3 minutes to kill them both. Hard to say if it was the sword, or the sky dance blood art doing most of the work though.

I remember reading how Venom has bad DPS, so I wouldn't bother and stick to either elements or Hold from the Chi-You line.

Chi yous should be a 20 second enemy at max. Assault rifles or Blast guns destroy them, with a long blade is pretty quick too if you use impulse edge.

Just started difficulty 8 in ge2. Can I just do story mission and ignore for a while free and characters missions. I just want to get t higher tier weapons and do it later without any problem because fighting with just one partner against aragami that constant jumps and almost all his attacks has big aoe is not fun. And so far the olny hard missions are when you have to fight multiply aragami at once such as Fierce Kongou and Borg Camlann

You can ignore free missions all you want but you want to do character episode missions if you plan to use specific NPCs since completing them will give them Rank 4 blood arts and new compound skills.

Short of constantly staggering them, nope. They have a very specific tell when they're going to spin-2-win. They do a high pitched scream and tilt their tail/shield to their left.

There is only the one type of Dyaus Pita in Rage Burst. Anime Wings do not show up because it is the older game.
In Ressurection, there is Anime Wings New Pita, and eventually a version similar to the one like in Rage Burst (aka nowings) called Heavenly Father.

So I just started Rage Burst and there's missions where the music just completely cuts if the aragami disengages and you lose its attention.
It seems to happen more on the GE1 maps and while it's hardly crucial it still annoys the fuck out of me.

Yeah, I remember my first fight with one, motherfucker wouldn't stop taunting for some reason. That's until I crushed his skull with the hammer, nothing says "I hate you" better than a hammer to the face.

They are fairly easy once you get to fight a couple of them, but man, in group fights they are the worst aragami to have in that fight.

It's a known bug on the old maps. Rage Burst has a lot of audio problems.

Coming from MH, I sort of don't mind when music cuts off after you lose aggro.

Any song that is from GE2-GE2RB will work and not stop midfight, using blood rage resets the music so it works again but this shouldnt be a thing to fix. In exchange for 60fps and big screen we get fucked with dark souls online tier. I really hope they dont fuck GE3 port.

There are some that barely touch sub 60op to around 80op. If you're looking for anything lower than that, why even bother using the blast gun, the whole point is to go wild with the bullet editor free of the op and module limits of the other guns.

There are cheap bullets you can make.

If you want to go super cheap you can make something like

1 SS Shot Long
2 -When 1 Hits: S Bomb

even if you put an FoF chip on the bomb to be able to fire it at point blank it won't cost more than 15 OP.

The only thing what we have about Yuu getting some character is Undercover, Hiro has nothing like that atm, I hope before they release god eater 3 they do a -3rd- break short of like they did with GE2 giving us more history with Yuu and Hiro. Its funny they are voiced from the same actor but their attitude is totally different when they fighr, Yuu being cold head in fights and Hiro more get into the action kind of guy.

Romeo just bit the bullet, I'm pretty sure I can't even have either of those skills yet, outside of getting ludicrously lucky with abandoned God Arcs.

Regarding Resurrection, how do Personal Abilities work? I noticed some of them affect my character but others don't?

Also how should I spec people? I tried to have people as 'dedicated' something, such as Kota being my item stock guy, but it never really works out and I just select random shit.

Personal Abilities are strictly for NPCs. The only things that affect you are reward bonuses like Ignore Bond and Rewards Up.

Don't worry about speccing people early on. You won't have access to any good skills or get enough AP for them for a while. Good general skills are HP and Damage Cut. Restore items up and Restore Post stock. Firm Stand can replace HP and Damage Cut once you get to monsters they can't handle, like the Dyaus Pita.

You want to start looking into their skills if you're at D7 then. HP/Damage Cut are no brainers. beyond that it comes down to what weapon they are using. Buster users like Soma and Brendan want Charge Ability Speed. Gunners want Frugal and Trigger Happy if they don't have them naturally.

Alisa and the other newtypes want the Mutual Burst skill. Annette has maxed HP by default so you can give her Venom Immunity or [B]Automatic Recovery in place of HP.

But user, you shouldn't touch another person's God Arc. Unless you wanna turn into an Aragami.

I'm a sucker for Puppets of Justice: Rebellion.

The majority of skills were 'nice to have, but not rally essential' to me.
Frugal and Trigger Happy with a good gun and good bullets turn the rest of the game in a joke.

I'd recommend a good Tower Shield. One with the instant deployment skill (or whatever it's called).
The ability to nullify all damage is a godsend for a lot of things.
I'd save the +1 God Arcs for things you know you'll keep using forever, you can pretty much use the others whenever, though saving +10 ones for your favorite weapons might not be a bad idea.
I used the upgrade parts to get the skills I couldn't slap on the rest of my equipment.

The games are good but the anime artstyle is a definite turn off for some people. The games are also very story heavy and can be quite padded in some places. You don't have to play the first one but Resurrection, being a remake of God Eater: Burst on the PSP and being released after Rage Burst, has a few little improvements that make it fun to play and you definitely miss in the sequel.

If you want a bigger population get it on the PS4 since they play with Vita players as well. PC also has some connectivity issues.

Also remember that if you want a particular weapon type, gun type, or shield type, the majority of the pieces must be of that type.

That means if you want a scythe piece, you need at least one more scythe piece combined than the other pieces, for example: 5 scythe + 5 assault + 5 buckler = random piece, but 6 scythe + 5 assault + 5 buckler = scythe piece.

You could always rely on your shield instead of Iron "Break the game" Heart.

Iron Heart doesn't block everything, the larger Aragami attacks (As in big attacks from all Aragami, not just attacks from bigger Aragami) can hit through it.

Regardless upgrade your shield so you get hit for less damage even if it fails you.

She's got a really high compatibility rate with her God Arc, that's it.
She's not even close to Lindow or Soma.

Hibari also has an exceptionally high compatibility, it's the same situation.

I am very guilty of this and I shamefully admit Iron Heart is a godsend that I use for Crimson Orochi all the time.
He's just not worth the trouble of fighting normally.

May I suggest Intercepting Comet? Extremely good damage, great manoeuvrability and it doesn't block attacks or anything like that.
It's easy to get hit if you spam it, but also still has the Hammer's Jump/Block/Step cancels.
It's the perfect mix of flashiness, OP and fair gameplay.

He actually uses his Blood Art quite often, too. I can literally leave him alone and he'll solo and keep the attention of multiple Aragami at once.

I like him, wish he used the skill more often, but I have no gripes and his story was pretty good.

This, hes pretty fucking great solo. On his last story mission I chased the Chiyou to finish it, and he stayed alive vs the hannibal and Sekh. Then I finished the Sekh off, and then right before the Hannibal died (literally I finished it off a second later) he finally fainted for the first time during the battle.

He held up like a pro.

Do you use Fraggin Gil? Cant remember if that hurts his ability to use his blood art or not. Using both it and Custom Gil atm.

Yeah I started out the game with it, I just really don't like it's R1 + X, Y, than R1 + X again combo that is like half the blood arts. I miss way too often.

I tried hammer once, and it seems fun, but managing stamina and activating the jet seems like a hassle, especially with blocking, evading and devouring.

How is long blade compared to short and burst? I never tried it. I really like short and its got fun arts, but damage seems subpar. Burst is fun, but its slow as fuck and a real hassle against faster enemies.

I actually love spears and games never have them, but it doesn't seem worth it in hunting games most of the time.

I use Inspiration Pledge and Gil (Custom).

There are 2 types of tickets, F and A. F is for area materials (like clothing mats), A is for aragami materials.

For the 8 pieces, it should be you need 8 of the low rank mats to make the mid rank mats, and if you're breaking down a mid rank mat you should get 2 low rank mats. I think you're looking that the menu in reverse.

The issue isn't the menu itself, it's the fact that I have all the items I need and it's saying I don't.

Wight Braid is also bought with a Black A Ticket and that's endgame drops, so I don't see how it's mid rank-high rank trading..

Unless there's two items that have the exact same name, I have no idea what's happening and no idea how to find the right item.

That's only because you don't know how to Hammer properly. Even without the boost attacks, Hammer is still good.

You should be switching it up constantly and saving Boost actions until you have a reasonable opening, at least until endgame where you can stay boost almost the entire fight if you wish to.

Dodging, Blocking, Devouring and Boost Actions are all relatively quick and extremely advantageous. Even moreso then most would expect, especially since they can all be used to cancel combos.
The same way you can use Impulse Edge to cancel Long Blade's combos, or Short Blade and dodging out of attacks to attack quickly.

Hammer is not a slow weapon like Buster Blade. It might not be Spear quick but it's still fast, has great damage output and you can keep attacking indefinitely provided you think about it a little.
