Todd assumed you're all idiots who just want rooty-tooty-point-'n'-shooty instead of an RPG with choices and consequences.

It was denied it's goty awards even though it deserved it.

The fact it was made by Bethesda.

EVERYTHING

It was wildly successful, so contrarianfags on Cred Forums weren't able to enjoy it.

It should been made by Obsidian, the greatest game developers of all time. New Vegas was a 10/10 masterpiece and the best RPG to come out in the last 10, no, 15 years.

Only thing it shares with Fallout is the title of the game, power armor and Deathclaws.

...

What about pipboys and vaults?

...

world consistency
story
lore
game mechanics overly reliant on shitty farmville minigame
quest design that doesn't exist(KILLE VERYTHING^!^$#(!!)
and as always no hand placed items making "dungeons" obsolete because you can get high end loot from any raider on the street

It won the BAFTA and DICE GOTY.
They are a couple of the more prestigious ones around.
The Dewrito Popes went to the highest bidder as per usual.

>posting copypasta where the OP had gotten BTFO by all the people replying, so they got edited out

Can't fault your optimism, I suppose.

-awful dlc
-shooter with rpg elements instead of rpg with shooter elements
-the railroad
-the constant american revolution references
-minutemen quests are shit
-settlements are shit
-few interesting locations
-that dialogue wheel

etc etc

dialogue wheel, unkillable npcs, horrendous story, no real reason to have multiple playthroughs since you can build your character to do everything, unbelievably wasted potential in the glowing sea

other than that, it was a good game with town mods.

someone post angry todd filmed behind his shoulder

>dialogue wheel
I actually forgot about that, because story was so non existent it didn't matter at all that all choices in dialogue wheel were the same

the concept of a dialogue wheel is whatever to me, but when every option gives the same answer, it's fucking retarded.

not to mention the way charisma worked was stupid as shit

>pre-written fully voice acted protagonist, defeating the role-playing element
>shoddy hole ridden plot made worse by a complete lack of player choice
>zero replayability as a consequence of no player choice or role-playing element

That's the short of it. Here's the long of it:

False flagging Bethesdrone. Fuck off.

Sounds like you are talking about the witcher and not fallout.

There were literally no extreme choices like the first 2. The first 20 mins of NV you have to choose whether or not to slaughter an entire town or declare war on a powerful gang

>dragging the witcher into things for no reason

deflector shields to maximum!

Maybe it's because you didn't purchase the season pass.

Meanwhile your first choice in FO4 is deciding if you want to be the minutemen leader now or wait until later

come at me why is it wrong?
