The stadium games were just shit you played as a kid because pokemon and you always lost because the rentals fucking sucked and you were a kid so you thought you could play it like the anime.
When you get older and play it again it is simply because you never finished it completely as a kid and you keep playing but you find out that the game is literally cheating you so decide to beat this game and it stops being fun and eventually devolves into dedicated autism.
