pretty much, this applies to most computer related studies, they just give you everything and its up to you to refine one or two things, if you go there expecting to be trained for a job then youll end up like me, i placed my faith on the school but in the end i really didnt learn anything from them, now im doing nothing and cant even get internships for jobs we were "trained" for.

Sure, but instead of being closed off for 3-4 years, I moved to a big city alone and had to change since there was no security net anymore, I didn't even feel forced to go to classes because Uni was so fun, unlike highschool. My NEET phase didn't even need to begin

Perhaps I was lucky with my degree in which I had maybe 10 exams total in 4 years (geometry and history of art, didn't need to study crazy long hours either) and everything else was pratical work with your colleagues.
I guess I'm also lucky that I don't live in the US or northern EU so SJW's didn't infect my uni yet, it was all art-related classes with no mandatory sociology-related bullshit, white guilt, or crazy leftist teachers

They did, and I learned. But like I said it's not something that you couldn't learn on your own. Like 3DSmax, Maya, Zbrush, AfterEffects, Premiere, etc. Filming/sound/related electronics or even the fundamentals of drawing (we had art classes with stands where we stood up and occasionally drew naked models, the teacher was also very strict and didn't shy away from harsh criticism, accelerating your progress very quickly)

But you can literally learn all of that at home. The only mandatory degrees are STEM/health related, I would assume. Can't imagine being a doctor from home.

That was my highschool, not Uni. We were free to move around, go to the studio, do mundane work at another place like the park or a coffe in the city (the uni is VERY small, just 1 tiny building, pic related with my history teacher). We had 1 to 2 classes per day and used the free time as we wish, as long as deadlines were met we were good to go.
The prolonged sit-down-and-pay-attention classes were history and 3Danimation, but both were a once per week ordeal and only lasted 1 year.

for example SM64 and SMS:
SM64 is the superior platformer because:
the controlled character actually has some weight(forcing you to spend more than 20 seconds to learn his movement) rewarding you with unbelieveable control over your movements once you learned it
SMS on the other hand has absolutely no weight to its protagonist, making platforming basically a non-issue in a game about platforming
also: SMS needs to show you the way to your fucking goal with big-ass arrows(shit-tier-leveldesign)
casuals that started with SMS are never going to accept this easy and simple conclusions and get buttmad once your prof. tells them they like a shit game
