Ignore the plane that is attached to this gun.

Is let barrel being on the bottom to help with recoil?

...

Just stick the gun on a tank. Your driving around with your shitty single turret while your brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and just killed like a dozen tanks easily.

Yes. A lower barrel helps with recoil but i can't remember the explanation as to why beyond its just does..

I'm sorry.

lol 2klip

No. It doesn't do anything to the recoil. It does however push that recoil back through your palm unlike conventional revolvers axis of recoil pushing back above your hand.

6 o'clock position feeds the recoil into your arm to make FELT recoil much less and dramatically increases controllability.

The automatic version does have option to put spare mag to the front to work as foregrip

Hollywood was responsible for those misconceptions long before vidya even came to exist. It's the same kind of shit as people thinking that getting shot throws you ten yards backwards, or that "a hit to the helmet could still kill you 'cos you'd break ur neck!"

A pity putting chunky ass shit on the front of a sidearm fucks it up so bad.

Not only because Harrison Ford had a similar Blaster, it also reminds me of those bad guys
in the Indiana Jones movies. Even the guy with almost no screentime in Black Lagoon carried those... anybody else see the charm in this?

The actual amount of recoil is unnaffected retard.

If you want to effect recoil properly you need shit like Glock's vents on the top or the
an-94's pulse fire mode to delay the recoil.

Recoil reduction is difficult as fuck for a reason. Most manufacters merely incorporate mitigation and control design choices instead.

...

This day and age? And compared to fucking steel?

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much.

Fucking narco's got a man shoulder fired autocannons.

it's the best handgun in RE4, was wielded by EVA in MGS3, and overall weird and sexy little artifact of the long gone eras. Can't really hate it.

well, designed for mitigation of recoil is still 'helping with recoil'
he did say 'helping', not 'negating'
and the post did read
'it doesnt help with recoil, it lowers the kickback from above your hand to into your palm'
why would it do that if it wasnt 'helping with recoil'? for fun?

It still doesn't change the recoil. In any way.

Recoil =/= felt recoil. Just because you're a retard and cannot grasp basic high school physics doesn't mean everyone else on the planet has to be as fucktarded as you.

The wood gives me wood.

why does the design change where the gun kicks? is it a side effect?
if it is, then i understand the gun design isnt helping with recoil.
but if the gun is designed so that the kick is more easily controllable, then that falls within the broad category of 'helping with recoil'
why are you so angry

>Can't really hate it.
Except in real life.

Han Solo's weapon is literally a mauser with bits stuck on it. It's what they did for a lot of the weapons since the studio had a lot of WW2 props to hand.

No, that's the magazine.
The lawgiver fires 3 different types of ammunition and 3 seperate has magazines, 2 of which are inside that area.

u wana fuckin go? There's nothing wrong with peep-hole sights. The Lee-Enfield line had a reputation for accuracy even when rapid-firing!

Best carbine in bf4

>Not dying as you desperately try to unload a TOZ into a bloodsucker's face

No u

CYKA BLAYT!

I kill more Germans than you!

for those of you not into warhammer as much as others, a bolter isnt a simple bullet firing device:

a bolter fires a small grenade, or 'bolt', which kicks in it's own rocket-propulsion system after leaving the barrel, which is strong enough to puncture armour or ork flesh, and then has a fuse of a couple of seconds before detonating like a grenade.

i just thought those that didnt know that might like to know it.

Throw enough mud at the wall, something's going to stick eventually...

Plus, how many militaries still use the Musty Fuckit? None. At least three are STILL using the Lee-Enfield. I think my point is proven.

Of course the gun is for plebs.

OK, here's the post that started your whole tirade:

Please point out the part where he's talking about the actual reduction of recoil, not about whether it exists or not.

Get some fucking 3rd grade reading comprehension before you shine on about how fucking well versed you are in physics and firearms.

>Plus, how many militaries still use the Musty Fuckit?
Finns do, in the form of TK-85.

Pinpoint accuracy and armor-piercing at the flick of a switch.

...

Ignore him. He made a mistake on the internet and cannot deal with that.

The lower bore axis, or having the barrel at the bottom of the cylinder instead of the top, helps with recoil by having the force lower on the firearm, which, as he pointed out in his second post before he went full damage control, helps to drive the force back instead of kicking the barrel upwards. This allows your forearm to absorb more of the recoil, rather than putting it all onto your wrist, which helps reduce barrel rise. I'm not really sure why this isn't a more common design, other than the obvious fact that it pretty drastically changes the point of aim of the weapon.

I like these threads because yuros post their favorite weapons and those faggots haven't ever fired off a single round of any type of gun. I'm not trying to claim America is so great because we have guns its the opposite but you can say you like something if you've never experienced it in your life.

Peep-hole sights are objectively the best sights. I have an old bolt-action Mossberg .22lr with a peep sight and a 22" barrel and its fucking great. Everyone who shoots that thing loves it. It may only be a .22, but it's the most precise rifle I've ever fired.

just about every Finnish male has been in Army. Mandatory military service, mate.

Would gladly go back now.

Simple, strong, looks good because its comfy

How shitty is your life/how easy is your military service that you'd gladly go back?

People like to shit on 9mm, but I fucking love this gun. Smooth as butter.

Best taste in the thread

Amazing how wood grips instantly make a really boring looking gun instantly more pleasing

Mine was a terrible piece of shit. Thing failed all over the place. The safety was a god damn joke, fucker broke right off the bat.

Day of Defeat 2 when?

If you ever actually fired a Desert Eagle you'd know that they are not comfy. They're too big and way too heavy because they shoot a bullet that is too fucking big for a handgun. .50 handguns are stupid for anything other than hunting bear, and even at that you'd want a revolver.

I will say that the few times I've had the chance to fire one of those I was impressed with the accuracy I was able to achieve, and the surprisingly low recoil due to the weight. I like a heavier gun, that's why the 92fs is my favorite, but these things are just too heavy and unwieldy.

>VAL
>not the SR-3M

Did you buy yours used or something? I've put close to a thousand rounds through mine and haven't had a single malfunction.

Why do people shit on 9mm?

Faithful FAMAS

There's a large group of idiots who think a 9mm isn't powerful enough to kill a person. These are generally the same people who scoff at the idea of a .22lr being deadly, and think anything less than a .45 is basically trusting your life to a BB gun.

Generally, these are the people who have never even been in the same room as a gun of any kind at any point in their life.

I like my Ruger SP101 quite a bit.

.357 Magnum is a great round.

You obviously didn't do anything wrong, but I hope you contacted Beretta about it. There was obviously a manufacturing defect with the gun, they probably would have replaced it for you.

Payday 2's animation made me want one

Not him but my life is quite well off right now.
Own a nice decent sized house, 5 cars and a good job. Still would go back to the military and I probably will. I've been thinking about putting papers for National Defence University or the RDF

Basically, because you haven't seen any real conflict for the last 60 years, it's a glorified summer camp for you. No wonder then.

Yeah, I got a full refund when i sent the thing to be smelted, Beretta was the one who threw the thing in the dump.
Probably a morning model or something like that, but the fucker soured my view on Berettas. Doesn't help that they don't really offer anything in the way of affordable handguns aside for the 92/96 and whatever the fuck variants.

...

says a potential neckbeard double-cheese burger who couldn't even pass his own military's physical tests, and would prolly get "denied" or B-class papers from FDF.

Besides, a defense force's role is to keep the conflict out of the country, not hunt for some towelhead sand-niggers.

>implying I'm american

I was 3 years in the military and I do reserve service every year since.

Mein Neger

mp5k

I will be reunited with her someday.

Good for you. So do I.

Don't get why you make weird assumptions of other militaries anyway.

I hope some day you are willing to give them another shot. Beretta is one of the oldest manufacturers in the world, having been in business since the 1500's. There's a very good reason they have a reputation for reliability. I understand your feelings towards them, nobody wants to have an expensive purchase go south on them like that. But they really do make great firearms, even if the rare botch does get out there once in a while. The 92 is probably the most devicive gun they make, it really seems to be a love or hate thing for whatever reason. Like I said, I love mine, and with nearly 1000 rounds of varying quality through it, I haven't had a single malfunction. But the gun does have its detractors, many of whom are military personnel who had a bad experience with the original run M9. There were issues with slides breaking on those, and that's a huge problem, but it was pretty quickly remedied with the F series, and the FS improved even more on a number of issues.

There's something about the MP5 I love so much. Maybe because it's a very professional looking SMG.

Good ol' Mosin

Was this shit even good back then?

>military personnel who had a bad experience with the original run M9
Also salty merikans because MUH 1911. On another note, owned a 1911 variant of some sort, was it a Kimber or such shit. It was fucking horrible. Hit fuck all, constantly double feeding, which was mostly due to the shitty original magazines.
It did have a problem with extracting the casings from the chamber too.

Bought the Beretta after that piece of shit, thought that I must be cursed or some shit with these handguns failing on me left and right.

No, it wasn't. Was unreliable, quite heavy and had terrible accuracy.

Finland not being in any military conflict for the last half century isn't an assumption. It's a fact.

well, it's technically a rifle, scaled down to fire a 9mm round. It's sleek, ergonomic, accurate and controllable. What's there not to like?

It even allows that legendary "H&K slap"!

Not in a conflict itself, but they did bounce around Kosovo, Afghanistan and Libya.

Ask someone who fired guns for the first time in his like this passing weekend anything.

what are you a fag?

...so a country participating / starting just about all of them is instantly better then?

If anything, FDF and the politicians have been doing a good work by keeping war off Finland and Nordic countries in general.

Claiming the Bergmann Bayard, since the C96 has been taken.
Love that boxy look on old pistols for whatever reason.
Own a Colt Woodsman myself, given to me by my great-grandfather, pretty nice looking gun as well.

gay

Pump Action is love, Pump Action is life. Doesn't matter if it's wood, metal or plastic.

Damn man, that sucks to have such bad experiences with two different guns right in a row like that. If you want my opinion, maybe go for a Ruger next. They're a little less expensive, until you get into their .44 revolvers and shit, but they have excellent build quality on everything they make. I'm a bit of a fanboy myself, but with good reason. I have 2 of their 10/22 rifles, one is from the early '70s and one I just purchased a year or so ago brand new, a Mark III Target .22lr pistol, and a SP101 .357 Magnum revolver. Actually, I posted a picture of the 101 a little earlier in the thread. I bought that used for $350 and it's been great. The 10/22s have jammed up on me a couple of times, but you're gonna get that with anything that fires a .22, it's just kind of a dodgy round. Haven't had too many issues with the Mark III though, aside from it being a pain in the ass to disassemble.

Are you talking out of your ass?
The Luger was reliable and accurate, if taken care of. The issue with the Luger was complexity, and the cost to manufacture.
I'm still baffled as to where you heard that Luger's have terrible accuracy.

I didn't say it was better. Staying out is the smartest thing.
Just saying that because that's the reality of things, military service would seem appealing for that reason. Its just becomes like any other work.

>mfw using this in BLACK

the pumping sound will always tickle my gun-boner

I think he's just making shit up. I've heard tales of guys leaving their 1911s on the ground and picking up Lugers to replace them.

severe lack of slavshit in here is disappointing as fuck

Is strike back good? I get this "Army of Two: The series" kind of vibe from it

Its excellent, unsurpassed weapons handling and chemistry between the two lead roles. It takes itself seriously but story is usually just there to put operating into context.

There are 5 seasons, and season 2 of UK was named Season 1 in US. Basically the first actual season contains different cast, has like 6 episodes or something and is a lot slower paced and has less operating. Its still good just dont give up on the series if its not your cup of tea.

For all intents and purposes you may as well skip it, S02E01 explains what happened and introduces new dudes very well.

>wanting a KP-31
I actually had a de-activated one up until last year. Oldschool de-milled, so you could charge and dry-fire it. Sold it to some war veteran institution guy for half a grand, and got a real-deal AKM for SRA shooting.

Sure it was cool and all, but super heavy and impractical. Plus good luck getting licenses for full-fun version, or a working reproduction around here. Might just as well get a civvie MP5, 9mm AR-15 blinker, or those slap-on pistol carbine conversion sets for a Glawk.
