Let me see... Dawn of Steel is nice, but it's also kind of irritating. The only real way to get money is to fight, but in order to fight you need money to upgrade your mechs otherwise you'll get your shit pushed in. But if you spend money on your mechs, you won't have enough money to upgrade your defenses, and if your defenses aren't upgraded you'll lose all your money when you get invaded. The combat is really fucking fun, though, so it's a hell of a conundrum.

WRPGS:

Infinity Blade: It's Punch-Out as a RPG. Beautiful graphics and a Dark Souls-like approach to storytelling. You should have heard of this.

Legend of Grimrock: Dungeon crawler throwback to 80s titles.

The Quest: Very similar to Daggerfall and Might & Magic. Some people can't tolerate the graphics, though.

King of Dragon Pass: Combination RPG, city-builder and visual novel. This is legit one of the greatest games of all the time, and it works great in mobile form.

The latter 3 have PC ports.

Blazblue RR is pretty decent.

PPSSPP is the only useable PSP emulator. That's fine though because it's good. I don't know how it is on phones but the PC version runs on black magic so it's optimized pretty damn well. Give it a shot, you've got nothing to lose.

Oh, I used to have the pc version of it I believe. I remember I used to put gba and nes and snes and n64 emulators on both my pc and psp, but I've only ever found gba emulators for iphone.

Hoplite is pretty good, it's probably one of the best mobile roguelikes because it doesn't have a shitty control scheme, there are no weird commands, it's all about positioning and using your limited skills to survive.
