Addendum: To add, it's almost impossible to actually shade or color anything decently in this due to the lack of layers and general shitty mouse control, so the only way you can actually color anything in is by putting down giant blobs of color in the background then doing the cleanest linework you can over it, which ends up looking like some retarded five year old failed miserably with a pile of crayons and a coloring book.

As you get used to the tools you get more efficient and confident to tackle more ambitious stuff.

there's certainly an improvement, but I feel it's more me getting used to the tools rather than getting better

Dod is really good at getting you in the mood to draw but its not the best for getting you better at it due to how sluggish the drawing tools are.

You'll deffinetly see a slow improvement over time but your improvement rate will skyrocket when you move on to some actual drawing software and get out of the habits you will probably have deveoped to get dod stuff to look good

I'm still shit, but every once in a while I manage to draw something that is slightly less shit. That is probably an improvement.
