If you kill him you will be just like him

>If you kill him you will be just like him

>antag killed someone mc loved (for revenge), a long time ago
>hasnt really killed anyone since
>mc about to kill antag (for revenge)
>side character tells OP quote
And what's wrong with that?

Not exactly an eye-for-eye type of revenge.
If he's about to kill the antagonist's lover I'm sure.

>antagonist is obviously evil
>he's trying to destroy the world
>you've killed hundreds/thousands of minions to get to this point
>if you kill him you will be just like him

>The only way to kill the final boss is to become worse than him

>You can't kill me! I'm your !
>_>

If you kill your enemy, they win.

>it's a meme thread
how original

>>If you kill him you will be just like him
>main character doesn't care, kills them anyway

Is there any game game where this happens, and still allows you kill the boss anyway?

>If you let him live you will be just like him

Harper was worse.

>decide not to kill
>he dies anyway

>if you kill him, you'll be worse than him

It's not exactly killing him directly but in inFamous 2 you can choose to side with the antagonist you've been working towards, the Beast, and eventually he dies so in the ending cutscene you become the new Beast

>he's slaughtered millions
>probably stabbed his own mother
>pretty sure he decapitated my brother
>he somehow altered the way the fucking sun works and everything is now pitch black and cloudy all the fucking time
>is literally planning to destroy the planet
>have him at knife point
>"if you kill him you'll be just like him"

...

>Antag was a shit father
>Antag raped mc little sister
>Antag made mc rape her little sister
>Antag drove mc little sister to suicide
>Antag's action made mc start doing drugs
Timeskip
>mc finds antag and mc's adopted daughter
>"nu don't hurt him he is a good guy"
>"mc , i have changed"
>choice pops up
> *let him live
> *Kill him
> Pick: *let him live
>Mc starts atacking antag anyways
>Mc's adopted daugter puts herself between you two
>Hit her out of the way
>antag cries for mercy
>Mc starts wailing on him untill he passes out
>Mc wakes up to see only the lower half of antag remaining and the rest splattered across the room

>only way to get the best ending is to let yourself lose the final battle. Which is impossible without throwing the fight because you are so overpowered by the endgame. Your party catches on to the fact that you threw the fight and doesnt kill you

Name 15 games this happens in. Seriously this gets posted all the time but nobody ever gives examples.

Would I be better or worse if he was a raving animal at that point?

Forgot to add that this is the last choice made in the game so you can play the whole game with good karma then choose to be evil at the end

undertale?

>instead of killing him, you can expose and humiliate him in front of everyone and make him live out the rest of his life in exile/prison

The wolf among us ?

I think he's talking about dishonored

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood
Persona 3
Mass Effect
SMT: Devil Survivor
Splinter Cell: Conviction
Saints Row 2

There's more than enough room for everyone to suck.

Gotcha

OP mindfucked after playing Moirai

>This

>Wait, I have a family!
>So did I
