that's Awakening and Fates.

HP-health. lose it all and your unit dies(permanently)
STR/MAG- how much damage you do with attacks. this is augmented by your enemy's defenses and your own weapon's MT
SKL- your chance to hit with attacks, as well as score crits
SPD- if your SPD is high enough, you'll be able to double-attack enemies, also affects your chance to avoid enemy attacks.
LUK-affects accuracy and avoidability, and reduces enemy crit chance.
DEF-affects defense against physical attacks
RES-affects defense against magical attacks
CON- unit's weight. this affects who they can rescue or be rescued by, and if your CON is too low, you will suffer SPD penalties while using heavier weapons.

Sounds like I shouldn't, but I did. Maybe because the stages tend to get a little long? I dunno, just my suggestion if the author chooses to take it or not. I don't think a line of dialog during the exposition would hurt anything too much.

After a second playthrough, one thing I found to be a real boner killer is how quickly you get new units versus how few slots you have. Especially when you get a shitload at once and have to kick someone out to make room for any of the fresh meat.
Also, chapter 2 can still suck a floppy wiener. You know why.

The avatar is black because it's my personal avatar, the normal version is different. You can also add your own portrait easily enough.

You have to do a wee bit of hacking to change avatars, but it's doable. The top two Tacts here are the default male/female ones, the bottom two are extras that Tact also made.

because they pop up down there with no dialogue and since the gate doesn't open immediately you have no idea when they're going to go through. by the time it opens you can't adjust your strategy before they run you down and kill someone. the game tells you you need to escape, but there's no indication of just how fast it wants you to go.

Shove most of your swords, mages and archers on the left. If your Tact was fast enough he/she could double and one round wyverns with Flux/Seere but since you're on the slower end then Sven can camp on the middle fort and reduce some of the stress.
