Supposely both Blood and Blood 2 don't run on modern systems. I call bullshit, Blood ran for me from dosbox with no issues, and Blood 2 took me 2 minutes in google to get running. All I had to do was to reduce resolution.

Haven't played Blood 2, but I did play through Blood just half a year ago on Win8. The Steam version, no less. It runs perfectly fine in DosBox.

You can use YANG to play online for Blood, Duke3D, and Shadow Warrior.

For this go to Settings, then Source ports and click the far right tab that says DOSBox. Point the DOSBox section to the DOSBox executable found in Blood/DOSBOX, then on the next line for base config file point that to Blood/dosboxBlood.conf. Finally go into the Blood tab, and on the One Unit Whole Blood tab point to BLOOD.EXE.

I would, but warning before hand; High ping = slowdown, MASSIVE slowdown, so the ping between you and the player shouldnt go over 50, preferably less. 100+ for me was unplayable

That depends on if the server is using P2P or if its actually a server, does Blood use P2P?

You might not have to I just don't know if Blood is P2P. If it is you and the server would have to port forward 23513 UDP

Anyways I have a lobby open in YANG titled "Test" if anyone wants to try joining. Try without the port first though please. Once the game starts you have to wait for the server to restart for any new players to be able to join
