It's actually ranked in the top 10 worst games from major franchises. And it's well deserved.

More like GrindFarm.
Seriously, freemiun monetization and grind slave shops for basement-dwellers should stop as a meme. This plus preordering and early access is what's fucking the VG culture back to the 1983's crash.

>Why would games get good designers and programers if companies could get more money with marketing? Because fuck those nerdos and their wallets, we don't care.

One of the few games I'd call 10/10

Also, name a better sound track
Protip: You probably can

forgot the pic

Mother 3
Red dead
Mass effect 1
Xcx
Sc4
Mario world
Tony hawk 3

I would pay fully for a better version of warframe, without the repetitiveness and the convolution. On the surface it's a lovely game with great design, but after some hours of playing you realize how shallow it is, and how much it focuses on hooking you up to get your money for little shit. Feels as a money milker like Final Fantasy all the bravest.

Does anyone have the gif of the pizza riding the waves?

YU-NO
Ever17
Mother 3
Yume Nikki (as well To The Moon and LISA)
Planescape: Torment
Silent Hill 2 (and Shattered Memories)

These are all valuable games because not only have they had a profound influence on the industry but they also bring something that a lot of games don't. They bring the ability to change you or be introspective. There are lots of games that are fantastic, but only few can you play as an adult and have it change everything. Like the occasion where you pick up a great book or classic film.

I'm surprised no one has risen up to the challenge of making a better game. Probably because you can't.

I am. Give me another two or so years. I'll make the game to surpass Undertale.

Let's say that we twere dealing with a person who had a general interest in everything--not too great but not too small, just enough to get into gaming casually.

These are the games I'd have them play.

Tony Hawk's Underground
Skyrim (then they could possibly segue into DaS)
Ocarina of Time
The Last of Us
Kingdom Hearts 2
GTA San Andreas
Pokemon Soul Silver
Super Mario Galaxy
Battlefield (whatever the best one is)
Mario Kart Double Dash
999
Phoenix Wright (the most accessible one)
Burnout Takedown
Ghost Trick
Final Fantasy X
Bayonetta

There's virtually no good game that doesn't somehow branch off from having played one of these previously.

The game of life
