I don't have any YouTube channel, but I do feel very sad every time I see someone posting a video, which looks like they put a lot of effort on, and has very few visits. Post your channels, Cred Forumstards, let's watch videos from everyone.

I saw I got 100 views in one hour on analytic and got excited, ended up laughing cause someone had literally opened every one of my videos and disliked it. I admire the dedication even if it probably only took a couple minutes. I'm pretty sure a dislike is equal to a like in terms of search rankings though so I think he helped me more than hurt.

Yes that's my voice. I've got Autism, some brain damage, and almost lost my tongue when I was two. I mostly do Let's Plays because it's therapeutic, and it's fun as well so there's that.

Like/dislike ratio is very important. You want as many likes as possible, as each one is literally an upvote that helps your content be more visible. Dislikes do the exact opposite, and if you get enough on a video it basically kills it. Use Google Chrome and install VidIQ Vision. It will let you see the L/D ratio on your videos, your SEO score, and help with getting the right metadata. TubeBuddy might also help in some cases where VidIQ Vision sells you short so install that too.

I'm sorry but you are wrong about dislikes. Youtube views any viewer interaction with the video as good thing, dislikes = controversy = views = ad revenue.
There's a reason the ghost busters trailer with record breaking dislikes still pulled in a huge amount of views and was ranked above the relatively liked old ghostbusters trailers. Youtube treats them all the same to prevent people from gaming the system.

Commentary is fine when it is articulate and comes from someone who knows how to talk games and the arts. The problem is most people are just stupid, or people who could do good commentary can't do it well unscripted.
