I still come back to it from time to time, it's extremely addictive.

It was a good game that became a great game after all the maps/weapons/modes were added in the free updates.

Solid 9/10 and one of the best new IPs I've played in years.

Only thing that ever held it back was the fact it only cycled 2 stages at a time. No fucking reason for it especially after they had 10+ stages functional. Sure when ranked came out you had an extra 2 stages cycling but standard game mode was always far superior to zone contol/rainmaker/defend the tower etc

Some would also argue for weapon changes mid game but I liked the fact you couldn't and had to live/die with your team comp. Making weapon changes available in the actual lobby in between games would have been nice though

It was really good, at least for right now.

The game is very online-based, isn't it? Doesn't have much single-player content beyond the campaign which you can easily finish in a day and the lackluster Local mode. It was all focused on online, that won't turn out too good when the Wii U's servers go down, would it? When that occurs, all the reviews will have to be based upon single player (akin to no one acknowledging Smash Bros Brawl's online ever since the Wii servers went down), and since the single player will have the spotlight, it'll drop down in review scores.

Really great for now, but it won't be in a few years or so. Also random perks for clothes kinda sucked, I don't wanna waste the shells I get every 2 months or so for a glorified lottery

It really did. They made a really strong first entry to the series and the second one just has to tweak a few things to make it perfect. They did however cut splatfest too early.

it's still super easy to find a match too, although you should be prepared to fight autistic S+ 99 nips only

One of the few good games on the wiiU. Its great too because its not a platformer. Low skill floor decently high skill ceiling fast paced and lots of fun.

Still a little bare and the network,matchmaking and map rotation could use some polish. Overall a very good game. To be honest although I love the game I quit it a while back because the balanced was borked I was so close to S+ but the guns I main were no match to the dynamo,krak on and 96. I heard the DS got buffed but I was was done with the game at that point.

It's in the Nintendo servers so it'll be up as long as Nintendo lives, that's why the MH3U servers are still up.

Inking territory is IMPORTANT no matter what mode you're on
even then most of the time Im just inking territory

but some times, if I think I can, I'll go deep in to enemy ink just to make it hard for them

Elegant as fuck central mechanic with the shooting directly tied into both your movement and the objective, top tier consistent styling and attention to detail.

Metagame was kinda simple like a budget game and they were obviously terrified of it having a tiny audience with all the online restrictions, but a sequel can easily fix that.

The only one that's good on that list is 96. If you use a roller in S rank you should only have the carbon. The other two aren't debatable.

This, first game that's ever felt like motion controls really worked for me. The fine control plus ability to instantly whip around when someone sneaks up on you.

dynamo is one of the best weapons in the game, especially in solo queue, it's everywhere in S and S+ ranks

It depends on the rotation but those were the guns that gave me the most problem climbing S. I used the tentaKEK so rollers were easy picking since the DPS of that gun was high and DS so I could out range them but they killed my teammates so easily and 2 rollers is just a pain.

Dynamo made splatzones a pain and 96 was good on anymap. Fuck splash walls.

fun game, but everyone except you being jap in every room and the stage rotation eventually killed it for me. I got 500 hours out of it atleast which is a lot more than I get out of most multiplayer games. Looking forward to the sequel.
