>Haha this guy did lots of crimes
>better call it "nothing wrong xD" amirite?

Fucking kill yourself

It wasn't because he was an Objectivist. It was because he was a fucking retard.

Ryan was a paranoid dumbass that cut off all trade to the outside world, which is a big no no to objectivists.

...

...

...

...

he did a lot of shit wrong though.

...

Make like her emails and get the fuck out of here.

Name one (1) thing he was wrongfully paranoid about.

they all did something wrong

not video games

...

>not video games
youtube.com/watch?v=x1udjd2Aq3E

Goobermint trying to ruin him

People with different ideas and opinions.

Specifically? Religion. Ryan didn't want anyone practicing religion, even within their own homes. Kinda sounds like the tyrants he was trying to escape.

...

...

Ryan was never the villain, it was always Fontaine. He literally used you to kill Ryan so he could take over what was left of Rapture.

>JESUS LOVES ME DIS I KNOW

Pretty sure Atlas was the villain, and Ryan, though an obstacle, was never actively malicious to Jack.

He gave the authority to let the gook sadist do his crimes aka "experiments" for example

...

...

>literally a serial killer
>"nothing wrong"

>"From my point of view the jedi are evil"
What did he mean by this?

Patrick Bateman dindu nuffin

...

>Ryan could've told Jack off himself at the nearest opportunity
>Instead, he told him to "kill" and got bludgeoned

FUCK I can still hear his voice!

Their very pacifist and naïve nature inevitably lead to the worst kind of evils

exactly, not video games

>stealing the body of your only friend, then having her own father kill her.
user, please.

Don't lecture me obi-wan. REEEEEEEEEE

>I'm going to scoop out the organs of orphaned children, give the strong super powers, and run the world through a war economy via brainwashed orphans

FOR
THE
BIBLE
TELLS
ME
SO

Andrew Ryan isnt even the villain of the fucking game.

JESUS LOVES ME THIS I KNOW YOU ARE NOW SINGING THIS IN MY VOICE

Eggs and omelets, jack

Mother of all omelettes jack.

Mister Coswell?- HE'S GOT A GUN!

He fucked up, for sure, but the "wrong" in this context pertains to their ideology.

Solidus was using nefarious means to achieve an arguably good end.

He is for the first half. Your main goal for that half is to kill him.

>not video games
Try again

It's called a red herring.

I OBEY ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS I OBEY BLUHUHU ALL HIS COMMANDMENTS

...

...

make like a tree and leave

What the fuck, he is the most evil fucker ever.

...

no

George desperately wanted to make Anakin a tragic sympathetic villain. However a few understandable grievances and stakes, he only managed to come across as a brat and a moron.
"From my point of view" was supposed to be some character defining quote but came across as hamfisted and stupid because it was hamfisted and stupid.

...

He's pretty much THE devil but without him the game would have ended in the 1st chapter and the world ends. We don't understand his motivations and it might be that he's just some sort of divine instrument to punish evil greedy assholes.

baby killer

>alright I don't like all this fucking socialism I'll build my own elite city under the ocean
>oh shit I forgot we need people to do menial jobs
>oh shit fontaine is being dangerous better kill him and take over his company
>wow people really didn't like that I better hang them
>holy shit people our completely out of control better use something which will make them obey me

He did everything wrong

I've always wondered something. if they did nothing wrong, then what makes them the villain?

>let me just kill this tree that tries to defend herself with apples

LITTLE ONES
TO HIM BELONG

If Lucas wasn't an absolutely terrible writer, Anakin might have been one of the most in depth characters on film. I mean, this is a man who is literally supposed to be the Messiah, who is rescued from slavery by marauding samurai monks and taught in their ways, yet treated like shit despite being the literal messiah, ultimately betraying the people who were his surrogate family and saviors out of a deep seated fear and desire to protect his wife and future children.

And instead, we get intense discourse on the greater negative aspects of sand.

>He is for the first half
wtf spoilers asshole

>those niggers raped shmee!
>dude you can't call them that
>the sand people raped shmee!

...

It would be more accurate to say, "Antagonists that did nothing wrong".

Just because they're the main obstacle in your path, doesn't make them morally bankrupt.

"That tree dindu nuffin"

You say it was just apples but he wasn't planning on hunting animals with those puffs of air he had.

...

Tusken Raiders are pretty much sci fi versions of the evil Indians in western stories, so it'd be more accurate to say "those redskins raped shmee!".

Honestly, the fact his mother is named Shmee should make it very clear how poor of a writer he is.

Honestly, I *can* see where you're coming from, but really, neither her nor LaCroix are "villains" from the perspective of the setting.

Both are just officers in their respective kingdoms, working to both maintain the peace and expand the territory.

However, LaCroix intends to reward you while Ming outright betrays you, so she's definitely more villainous.

Hi, guyes!

...

...

>Al Mualim
>I want to mind control the planet
>nothing wrong

That old fuck just wanted some drugged up pussy to wet his decrepit old dick.

...

Elijah was a xenophobic nut that would've fucked over everyone not in his sekret club. The Brotherhood aren't supposed to be good guys. Blame 3/4 for making them like that. And Kreia had the right ideas, she just got a bit too carried away about showing everyone how totally right she was an ended up going off the deep end for it.

>neither her nor LaCroix are "villains" from the perspective of the setting
Well, vampires as a whole are the evil bastards of the WoD, so you're right on that one.

>LaCroix intends to reward you while Ming outright betrays you, so she's definitely more villainous
LaCroix repeatedly tries to get rid of you through the entire game (The Sabbat warehouse, Grout's mansion, and the blood hunt) and it's clear from the beginning that he only wanted the sarcophagus so he could mantain his power, he even implies he wanted to diablerize the antediluvian residing in it at the end. IIRC, even though Ming was just as manipulative as LaCroix, never wanted the sarcophagus just for power.

>elijah
No he dindu nuffin. But maybe capture several people and attempt to open the Sierra madre with them leading them to their deaths most times, he also completely ditched the BoS.

do you think Andrew and Armstrong would get along?
I bet Andrew would pay for Armstrong's presidential campaign.

It just wanted to fly, user.

It just wanted to fly.

None of the colossi are bad. They're all victims of Dormin's trickery and Wanderer's guilt.

...

why are you so mad

Kriea was frickin surgical in her execution of her plan to reform the Jedi Council. Every Jedi Master responsible for fucking up the Mandelorian War was dead without civilian collateral, a new batch of Jedi were trained by proxy via her teachings and the 2 Sith Lords met their hard counters without any unnecessary massacres. Baring the Harbringer of course but 1.5 droids and a comatose Jedi doesn't leave you with much

I hate when media does this

>TO US, YOU'RE THE BAD GUYS
>NOW EXCUSE US WHILE WE GENOCIDE EVERYONE FOR NO REASON
>ISN'T THIS MORALLY GREY? ARE YOU QUESTIONING YOUR ACTIONS YET?

Gotta step on a few people to get to the top.

>passionate man who loves his craft gets betrayed
>seen as a "monster"

The only real answer.
All he wanted was to rebuild the world with a species more suited for the post-apocalyptic world.

Nah, BoS return to their dickish roots in 4. West Coast put Lyons on probation for being too nice. Maxson is trying to get in their good graces again.

He was not a villian, more like he was not bound by morals

...

...

...

>I'll make a new species!
>I wont keep tabs on my scientists and find out if this new species is actually viable in any way, though

He should have banned ADAM.

...

He was a villain?
He was a dick, though.

Ryan wasn't a villain but he did a lot wrong

Rapture didn't just fall because fontaine, it fell because Ryan betrayed the very principals that made Rapture a possibility, the very reason he had it built.

Rapture was fine, it was perfect for a while, the jobs were done. Once Ryan closed off free trade, seized assets and introduced regulations that created a black market for plasmids it went to shit (with Fontaine aiding in that of course)

...

Literally nothing wrong

>None of the colossi are bad

Malus is literally named "Malus"

...

youtube.com/watch?v=zEu_U78XFg4&t=3m35s

Worst thing he almost did was get a shade to nearly destroy a library

>Father "Gas them all" Elijah
>nothing wrong

He didn't really do anything wrong, did he? He was fated to do so. He was selected by gods. It was all supposed to happen in accordance to supernatural beings that have dominion over man. He did fuck Casca, some may call it rape, I personally think she wanted and enjoyed that. Regardless, Femto is a god or demigod, he isn't bound by human morality in the least.

...

he has every right to be. only uninformed children -- or edgy manchildren -- would think he did nothing wrong

I think we can agree that the Troll King's actions were not without just cause.

> she wanted and enjoyed that

Wow, you'd think lines like "NO!" and "Don't watch!" would give you a tip that it's rape

He does get a bit friendly in his ending though.

Guts was her second wheel love. Do you really think she would have chosen Guts over Griffith? Not a chance in hell.

She didn't have a chance to tell Guts that she chose Griffith over him, it became an instant cuckold, she didn't want to hurt him.

It means she didn't want Guts to see.

For real, though. His only goal in life was to preserve his existence by removing the one being that had cause to end it

Haven't done his ending, but I assume it's because he was trying to think of a way to kill you after opening the sarcophagus.

Such a waste of good design. RIP

>Have wrench out
>"HE'S GOT A GUN"

Wow fucking really? I'll be informing Mister Coswell about this.

...

Pretty sure that faggot never played that game let alone have it on him when doing the the bullshit he did.

N-no, you're a sh-shit!

Malus meaning "hammer", dickweed.

A lot of it was Fontaine pulling strings from the start that escalated events. He was running the black market trade even before Ryan nationalized the company. Ryan however went full asshat mode and nationalized everything so he could keep an eye on things (and betray his ideals), rather than just dealing with Fontaine right then as he should have. From there Ryan warped his own views into the work of the people being his own work since it is by him that anything is even in Rapture, and ergo everything belongs to him.

...

Kinda hard to do nothing wrong when you barely do anything to begin with

...

...

Almost believable until you find him pleading for the Combine to save his skin when everything goes to shit

...

...

>"villain did nothing wrong guiz!"
>villain actually did something wrong

It's not cute or clever anymore. 0.000076/10 made me comment.

His scientists- and by scientists, we're talking about Lou Tenant and a handful of retarded cultists- had little prioritization of the long term ramifications. Their existence was jeopardized by defying his order. Don't forget, The Master was focused on the immediate cleansing of the Wasteland; he left logistics to his subordinates, which is also why he doesn't oversee dipping himself.

>le 0/10 meme

That's not cute or clever anymore either. This sparks discussion on the ethics behind particular characters, and is preferable to the many E-Celeb threads that people never fail to bite.

Contributing with someone who actually dindu nuffin wrong. His actions were fairly justified.

I liked the part where they didn't just move. Nevermind the "sickness" how about the fucking cancer in the air? Never really tackled that part did ya fuckface.

Hypocritcal and paranoid faggot. If he had just let Fontaine smuggle and not step in + seize his assets (literally the exact opposite of what rapture was founded upon) his city would never had died.

Hawk pls go
