CONSOLES BTFO. PC MASTER RACES WINS AGAIN!
Hunter Brooks
>129 thousand dollars for a graphics card
YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP
Hudson Morris
Still cant get 4k and 60fps on Witcher 3
Mason Martin
NOT A GRAPHICS CARD MORON. ITS A FUCKING SUPERCOMPUTER IDIOT..
L2READ
Benjamin Campbell
No, you see it's so good you'll want to start a 2nd business so you can afford it!
Jackson Torres
>a graphics card
Bitch pls the system comes with 8x tesla p100 16gb EACH! That's just the start.
What now? Gonna duct tape 10 ps4 pros together. Still can't compete
Landon Sanders
Is this the kind of hardware they use to do movie CGI stuff? This seems overkill desu.
Gabriel Anderson
I want my vr waifu at 16K and 240fps
William Turner
So what the fuck do companies do with these massive GPUs? NASA computing?
Ryan Russell
>Worlds First Deep Learning Supercomputer.
If I were a betting man, I'd say it's a super computer designed for deep learning
Isaac Rivera
>pay $125,000 for a supercomputer >nvidia releases a driver update that nerfs your supercomputer a year later
SHOULD'VE BOUGHT IBM
Wyatt Mitchell
Will this run Mankind Divided on max settings?
Brody Diaz
Sell it to companies to run their servers on. Sell it to red team planners to run simulations on.
Andrew Ross
Are those USB 3.0 ports? Whoa.
Carson Cook
>muh deep lurnin
unless you can actually explain what it is you are just reapeating shitty buzzwords
Asher Lopez
This shit will be 200$ next year, just wait it up.
Brandon James
The previous version of the tesla. The tesla k80 started at $5000 and had the processing power equivalent of the world's fasted super computer in 1998.
The Tesla P100 is immensely faster than that. They are mostly for an economical (relatively) way of having an in house super computer for highly detailed simulations. Like a company car company would use it to simulate compusion within an engine with multiple and interchangeable variables to extreme precision.
Henry Richardson
No, they actually use consoles for that, those things are for extremely precise simulations, like bombs and shit.
Logan Bell
>GDDR5 THEY CAN'T KEEP GETTING AWAY WITH IT
Elijah Lopez
You all make me sick.
Jack Jones
Think of it as a step closer to the true AI And nope, none of the shit you heard nowdays as AI is actually true AI
Andrew Walker
...
Ian Flores
>smaller than most desktops >still 200x more powerful >doesnt get hotter than 35c
Magic?
Kevin Anderson
just bought this for my rig, think I can run Witcher 3 at high now?
Nolan Wilson
>Bought a super computer for your rig >A rig for your rig You tried.
Matthew Murphy
>134lbs
Gabriel Miller
>ubuntu
dropped
Ayden Bell
>>A rig for your rig
not a new concept
Brody Green
But the most important question! Can it run Crysis?
Benjamin Morales
>dimensions in mm >weight in pounds Dumb americans
Cooper Flores
Looking at it. See replies. Look again >129 >THOUSAND I could open a mcdonalds with that much money.
Easton Ramirez
not with hairworks at least
Michael Kelly
>ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR POUNDS M8
Charles Baker
Just dual boot steam os or get rid of Ubuntu all together.
Landon Sullivan
But can a Mcdonalds run crysis at supersized options?
Connor Williams
So what your thinking liquid nitrogen cooling?
Colton Walker
I always wanted to replace my old barbecue grill.
Hunter Jenkins
Yes,AND with extra cheese and fries too.
Grayson Reed
nah, just flip a helicopter and run the blades >mega fan
Dominic Hill
BUT WHAT DOES IT FUCKING DO? "Ummm it like, super computes shit and stuff, LOL." NO FAGGOT, WHY WOULD YOU EVEN NEED THIS
Nathan Richardson
>$700 for just the gpu Lmfao enjoy your pixel indie games and watered down console ports
Literal KEK machine
Gavin Lewis
Imagine all the 4k porn you can simultaneously play on it.
Nathaniel Lopez
Will it be able to run Crysis at medium tho?
Jayden Sullivan
Got you covered senpai
Angel Foster
it says operating temps, it means you need to keep it cool to 35 C, not that it will stay there by itself. You need a liquid cooling system m8
William Howard
Really should be 4U
Adam Johnson
Could I buy this thing and just play Vidya on it?
Asher Butler
NVIDIA WINS AGAIN
AMDFAGS ON SUICIDE WATCH
ALWAYS GO GREEN, BABY
Justin Ramirez
>ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FOUR POUNDS OF PUSSY AND ASS
Thomas Bailey
well nvidia made it so it's probably gonna run around tree fiddy gb
Daniel Allen
lul why would i buy a deep learning computer.
i am a deep learning computer.
Lucas Cox
deep in your ass
Evan Brown
nope because >Ubuntu loonix has nogaems
Zachary Richardson
maybe i like it :^)
Brayden Roberts
Four years and i've only now just discovered the spoiler shortcut
Joseph Kelly
It's ment to be able to fit in a server rack.
And the 8x gpus are really close together where to find the room for more cooling? CPUs memory and SSD are all on the side so no good there.
Think the liquid cooling system is underneath?
Side note: it's got pretty guts
Hunter Wilson
i discovered it on accident like last week
why did no one tell us? :(
Blake Roberts
But can this max crisis?
Chase Howard
CTRL+F
Logan Williams
Sup? :^)
Aiden Barnes
because we're still newfags
wtf does control f do?
Robert Baker
Alternatively you could google "deep learning" to get a surface level explanation from wikipedia and similar websites.
Jack Cooper
oh right, find in page
Aaron Bell
>3KW Jesus christ how horrifying
Evan Gonzalez
runs exact same games as ubuntu. nogaem
Elijah Clark
neck yourself
Ian Rogers
> anon1 asks if Xmachine does Y >anon2 answers "its Xmachine"
I don't give a fuck about what its used for, it was a shitty answer
Daniel Rivera
Should I upgrade Cred Forums?
8x for 129k seems a bit much but I think 1x for $12,600 fair
Brayden King
wtf are you talking about?
Nathan Ramirez
I wonder if it's windows compatible? I don't see why it wouldn't be.
Asher Brooks
yeah, obviously. stable 45fps baybay!
Gavin Cruz
Get at least two or else you'll only be pulling ~40fps in Minesweeper
Angel Rogers
I really don't want to explain it so just read it over a few times and let it marinate a bit then come back to me
Kayden Sullivan
i'll just wait until that guy replies, i'm too fried with studying, drinking and staying up to understand right now.
Jonathan Anderson
GB memory per GPU
dont you mean 14GB?
Nicholas Cooper
Wait what's better price/power ratio 1 tesla p100 for $12k or 2x tesla K80s in sli for $5k?
I want to future proof
Parker Parker
>13.5
Joshua Garcia
I hope you live in a place that's forever winter otherwise watch your house burn to the ground
Joseph Russell
This thing can't be safe
Jaxon Reed
Actually pretty nice. Seen them a few times. Work pretty well.
Christopher Fisher

The k80 is only 2500 now. Not a bad price.
>24 gb of vram
Jackson Sanchez
>Up to 170 teraflops of half-precision so it's just 85 teraflops of full-precision once you leave the marketing bullshit behind. >peak performance so in reality it won't even hit the 85 teraflops at all Good job, Novidya, good job!
Jaxon Hall
He's a big guy
Leo Gonzalez
Dad works at nVidia. So i got one for free.
Andrew Thompson

Enjoy your upscaled 4k @30fps locked.
While i sit back and jerk it 16k 240fps vr goddeses.
At the rate consoles are going. I'm sure you'll understand in 50 years kek
Chase Wilson
it's a 16-bit computer dude.
it's not doing 64-bit gaming.
nvidia is pulling a fast one.
Hunter Wood
do the teslas overclock well might splurge for my next build
Jason Robinson
>le videogames >le teraflops it's a fucking compute card retards, it's not for vidya. It doesn't even have video out ports
Robert Martinez
>Still 20x more powerful than a ps4 pros. 20x PS Pros = 20 x $399 = $7980 >Novidya DOGSHIT-Wan = $129,000 really makes you think, huh?

>170TFLOPS >HALF PRECISION >Not even single precision
Why bother. It will be limited to work with cuda in its closed enviroment and then be gimped in next driver after launching a new version that makes one or two TFLOPS above.
John Brown
>there are people ITT who are considering preordering this
