yeah boy
not really sure id classify any of the locations in bloodborne "comfy". but whatever works for you I guess.
god youre a faggot.
>buy now
kys
it's about contrast
for example alien isolation - the safe moments felt really comfy
About what you'd expect from the edgelord that posted that shit. Oh it's bloodborne too.
Making me think over here.
...
Makes it more comfy considering that it was a refuge from getting ganked repeatedly in lower STV
I have to say this felt like Gothic 2 the most in the series. CDPR pretty much combined bioware games and gothic series together in witcher.
that aint comfy son
> UN FORASTERO
They outdid themselves with whole B&W region in my opinion.
windhelm is literally the shittest city in skyrim
they all are terrible I can't remember a single character or event associated with them exept annoying cloud district dude
ARE YOU CUNTS ACTUALLY TELLING ME THIS ISN'T COMFY?
The attention to detail, the little tidbits, the great atmosphere, that snow and feeling of cold...
bohan could be comfy at times
Posting most comfy
>bohan
my nigga
Chinatown and Hove Beach are max comfy. The parts of the map with overhead trains give everything a more comfy feeling.
>comfiest city in skyrim
This or the rest stops anything playing this really.
GTA 5's map, although more varied and way bigger, couldn't come close to matching its comfyness.
GTA 4 was way more detailed in terms of the map.
GTAIV's map was designed more for pedestrians as opposed to GTAV's where it was for vehicles with its wide open spaces.
The alleyways and smaller confined areas in IV really make the game.
I've looked for it, but I can never find it.
There was a mod for Morrowind called "Lake Home" or "Lake House".
Put a cabin on a little island in one of the bigger lakes. I distinctly remember the wooden wind chime sounds mixed with the sound of gently lapping waves.
I wish I had a nice little town where the locals wanted to make me some ground beef. Or was it turn me into ground beef? Ah well either way I like shooting people.
...
It's so peaceful.
>Windhelm
>Comfy
>yeah
>except for the murders...
the color scheme and the music make this one of the comfiest places I've been in a vidya
Skellige is top tier comfy
>cutscene trash
fuck off
...
That picture's from second life
literally any village from Fable 1
too bad rest of the game is crap

I'll post a few of mine until some people tell me to stop or until I run out.
Stalker: Clear Sky.
Forgot to turn off the HUD, desperate to catch the really cool lightning effect in the rain.
Skyrim, obviously. Most of these will be Skyrim.
Was gonna post something from RDR. I recently went back and tried to replay it. It's just too damn easy.
Skyrim
Lake Ilinalta
...

...
Skyrim's lightning flash effect.
fucking this place.

What are some comfy 3ds games?
Just modded the shit out of a 2ds that I picked up for the first time ever, no idea what games even exist.
Looking at animal crossing/fantasy life/tamadochi life.
Figured here would be a good place to ask
I've spent too many time rolling around here
...
...
Excuse me, make way, coming through.

This

any inn in skyrim is pretty comfy at night when my redguard nig is out hustling bitches of their valuables
Pretty much any level 5 game. The dungeons were the most comfiest but its sucks there's no good pics of the location online
>playing in 3rd person
Probably the last one I have that's worth it.
wandering the streets of hengsha
>thinking the screenshot would be as good in first person
third person in skyrim is trash, desu
we're about to get really comfy in here boys
mountain blade can be pretty comfy, this is modded obviously, but even some of the vanilla scenes are great, like most of the sand ones, and the sea raider base
My fucking nigga
What mod is this? Also it's Mount and Blade.
Now this is what real comfiness looks like.
Also, find me on the screenshot, Cred Forums.
riften is great, the permanent autumn, the town itself, the bee farms, that skooma den with vampire fountain, comfy/10
I think the Etrian Odyssey games are very comfy.
>What mod is this?
sand of faith
>Also it's Mount and Blade.
pic related
cat heaven for best location
the fishing alone makes it relaxing as fuck.
some RO2 maps are surprisingly comfy when there's a rest from the fighting
Why so much Skyrim?
Its comfy I guess
it is comfy
damn you've just reminded me how comfy that map is too, which is weird for an FPS. you could just camp up at any time and play snake on your gay GPS thing
God, I have to admit, the save room themes really are comfy as fuck.
The Butter King in his ButterCar
i love that tune
it's comfy yet really unnerving
Anywhere in Brightwood or Bower Lake in Fable 2. So many comfy areas in that game. In contrast, nowhere in Fable 3 felt comfy, not even the Sanctuary.
oblivion is probably the comfiest game ever created
LONG MAY HE REIGN
Nothing will be as comfy as this game
>That guy/gal who knew all the glitches and took me on a tour exploring outside the maps and stuff
>Huddling together to keep warm in the cold
>That final mountain "climb" with him/her
Can love bloom on a video game Cred Forums? ;_;
>it's comfy yet really unnerving
Pretty much. It induces such an odd feeling of comfort and relaxation although there's definitely a creepy bent to it. Absolutely perfect at what it's trying to do in-game.
I need to run through REmake again this year for Halloween.
...
After a desperate trek through the wilderness, facing packs of wolves, hordes of gibberlings and bandits, and even ogres, this place was so comfy for me and my level 1 ass even if I got attacked the moment I walked through the gate
The starting zone from kingdom hearts 2 is close tho.
it's like i already have nostalgia for that theme
even though i first played REmake a few months ago
you're not wrong
FF14 Limsa housing district
>it's like i already have nostalgia for that theme
>even though i first played REmake a few months ago
I played REmake like, what, three years ago for the first time? Loved it. Definitely a timeless game. Criminally underplayed by moi.
How do you feel about the RE7 save room theme? I think it's alright.
>How do you feel about the RE7 save room theme?
i think it's great, it really manages to capture the atmosphere of older resident evil games IMO
i'm actually quite excited to see what RE7 has to offer, at first i was quite cynical about it but it is showing promise
...
>manages to capture the atmosphere of older resident evil games IMO
Yeah, I think it manages to do that as well. It's not as good as RE4 or REmake's save room themes but it's nice at least.
>i'm actually quite excited to see what RE7 has to offer, at first i was quite cynical about it but it is showing promise
Same, honestly.
...
I wish I could live in Oblivion's Cyrodiil
>knocking the beat on the guitar
loved doing that back when I used to play, gives such a nice sound
>saw a mudcrab the other day
Fuckers aping Skygrim.
by Azura, by Azura, by Azura
>2013
>doge, such items
there is no way its already almost been 3 years
I know everyone's sick of it already but most places in TW3 are pretty comfy.
What does "comfy" even means in video games? Immersive?
It's means "comfortable", dingus.
It is hard to find comfiness in third person games.
...comfortable.
>comfy
>with that everblowing wind
nope
The slaughter of what were once human beings
It means "casual", people who don't want to be called such use comfy instead.
these are the kind of fucking retards that now infest this board
I told you all that trolling by acting retarded was a bad idea, and it would only attract REAL retards to feel like this was home
>saw a mudcrab the other day
Literally from where is this meme coming from? Myabe I'm deaf but I only heard that line like once in my last 100 hour playthrough.
Maybe the mods did something to alter it or the unofficial patches?
>not liking windsong
Stay out of northern Europe then, I guess. It's so windy there that they farm it for energy.
Comfiest place in gaming's history.
Also soundtrack youtube.com
Gothic in general is filled with comfy places
>"get in loser, We're going feasting."
It is in Oblivion.
...
You think that's bad, there's a whole spate of redditors here who don't know what 'gameplay' means, calling it a buzzword and going insane every time someone uses the word, trying to get someone to define it for them.
VtmB is incredibly comfy, but I dont have any of my screens anymore, time for a replay I guess
maybe this time I'll play as something other than a femmalk, probably not
When I was a kid, I liked to imagine that I'm near the fireplace in a comfy house in that town.
When it comes to Gothic comfiness, nothing really beats Northmar. Maybe some places in G2 NoTR addonworld, but that's debatable.
It looks comfy, but generally the scenes feel dead, as there they don't really serve a purpose in-game.
Hopefully Bannerlord cities will feel more alive.
>comfy
>snow and cold
Haven't played in a while, but from memory there were farmers and peasants walking around, doing chores.
The store had some vegetables in front of it, the stable had horses. It wasn't just houses.
Or am I being nostalgic and making shit up?
skyrim looks better. that pic just looks like a poorly done skyrim mod
snow and cold are two comfiest things in our universe
no
That place is a shithole
The townspeople just walk around from one waypoint to the next, they don't actually do anything.
I think most people just used the menu to get from one place to another in towns.
fug, I need to play gothic series one of these days
well, yeah, there is not much to do there, but the bandit camp in sarranid lands, or the sea raider landing, or some of the sarranid villages just ooze comfiness
yes, freezing your ass off to the point of almost death then relaxing by the warm fire with some ale is maximum comfy
yes
>freezing your ass off to the point of almost death ... is maximum comfy
no
Probably because that is a screenshoft of a 2006 game on low settings you dumbshit.
but its a comfy shithole
it totally is user
no
you are probably just trolling but I never know with these youngsters invading. It's a decade older game, go figure
Why don't you move to Siberia? Putin gives out literal FREE LAND to anyone willing to live there, just so the place can have people in it.
If freezing cold is so comfy and attractive to you, thats seems like a great deal.
skyrim came out in 2011 tho.....
>bethesda takes a decade to make a sequel to their most popular game
if it was anywhere in the world except Russia, then I probably would
you might as well tell people to move to south america or detroit
No city in oblivion feels entirely comfy desu
>shithole filled to the brim with murderous tribalist inbred mutts
>houses are either haunted by daedric princes or patrolled by dwarven automatons
>comfy
Fuck this fucking city
because there is nothing to do there? I live in Moscow already, its called enough here, if I could find a good job there I definetely would move though, cant stand huge cities
Sapienza
>shrine to the most evil god there is
>cannibal cult
>falmer infestation under the city
>whole city is corrupt and at war with the entire native population
And almost everyone else is a douchebag, it's the opposite of comfy
Oh man, you're taking me back user
...
Druid order hall
If there were good jobs there, many people would go, shops would open to sell to these people, cinemas and other services, and a big city would form.
You don't get a good job and a small town. Choose.
siberia is kinda desolated. snow cities are super cool, but living twenty kilometers away from any kind of settlement with -40 temps at winter is pretty much shit
everything in moderation
>Literally from where is this meme coming from
Oblivion's civilian NPCs
>Myabe I'm deaf but I only heard that line like once in my last 100 hour playthrough
You're just lucky, I must have heard it like 30 times or so in the same timespan.
does siberia even have internet?
It will probably happen with Skyrim though
kek
you can use satellite
holy shit, this literally looks like my place back home. thought it was a photo for a split second. is the new game any good? I hated Absolution with a passion
...
i forget that this existed
>bad weather
>no internet
)))))))))))))))
the forsworn have comfy clothing
I see your point though, the city looks good but is a terrible place to live
Nothing I'd want to wear in a place like Skyrim though
Are those from the card game?
there are more pressing issues with satellite internet access, but yeah, this too
no idea
they mostly hang around the warmer parts of skyrim though, Markath and Falkreath are much greener and warmer than the rest of the province
Its the first I thought of, because if bad weather is endangering my life in some way, and when the next closest house is 50 miles away it may, I wouldn't have means of looking up information or communicating.
you would have communication, ham radios. hitting 50 miles with giant piece of wire attached between trees is not too much of a problem.
this whole fucking game was the comfiest thing i've ever played.
...
>Comfy
There's that word again.
Who's [EXTREME] Backup, Back Down here?
first person mod when please
>first person mod
>with that combat
Dodging and rolling would give you motion sickness.
What game, amigo?
...
>this
>comfy
nightmares of driving cars down these kinds of roads. yeah i know most locals use scooters but still, driving uphill on a 1 lane alley with peoples shit almost lining the streets makes me anxious
>when another car is coming from the other way
>literally have to backup to find a section wide enough to maneuver around one another
SS may have been one of the worst Zelda games, but Skyloft was pretty damn comfy.
>not hearthglen
you had one job baka
What game?
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on GBC. Great game, goes full on RPG.
Nature is scary mang.
...
no u (no you)
You all motherfuckers forgetting the gems
The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall.
Some small, snowy village, with a bank and a shop, small house bought, soothing music in the background.
oh yeah the comfy feeling of every building looking exactly the same, with the same exact fucked up procedurally generated insides with random doors and mindless paperdolls walting around that all have the same absolutely nothing to say and all of this being exactly the same between every single city in the game
...

Wrong board, try Cred Forums.
always found balamb town pretty comfy as well.
is 5 better than 4?
Half Life 2 had some comfy levels. Sandtraps had a lot of coast houses with nice views.
hard to find a decent one of timber
>stop discussing videogames, go to Cred Forums reee
exactly what is comfy about daggerfall cities? what do they do better than anything else in this thread to make it a gem more than them?
from all the comfy places in skyrim, markarth aint one
This is just too much comfiness.
Legend of Dragoon had some awesome towns
oh god i actually get a bit nostalgic
This guy knows
...
everytime i enter and hear that music, i get into comfy mode.
from one of the comfiest game segments of all time
No not really but it looks more comfy because you buildings don't look like they are created from junk. I liked the age progression but the game really should be about the cold war and play both superpowers. I like 5 aesthetically. You should see for yourself.
This game has such a unique look to it I was able to figure it out from the thumbnail.
are you guys even trying?
A lot of locations from this game.
You guys are probably too young to remember it.
