You place the curve over a standing man to estimate the distance to him, then use the corresponding /\ as the crosshair.

Using that curved line you can tell how far away is a 170cm tall human standing.

I found when playing with custom scopes in CSS and TF2 that putting round heads inside a square is a lot easier than any other sort of crosshair.

Simple-01 i guess.
But I do like when each weapon has a different reticle like in Halo for example. It adds a little bit of flavour.

Circle-6 works amazing for me on Block Ops3, although half the fun is getting kills in that game with the silly crosshairs that make no sense like wings, the mustache, a grenade lol
