Windows pre-installed solitaire was a god send. If you had a job before cell phones, or smart phones and you worked a job that had you stuck behind a computer for 8 hours it was the only thing we had. I used to have a warehouse job loading customer purchases into people's cars, with nothing to do in between pickups than read employee info files and spin in my chair. For some bizarre reason the owners didn't let me bring a book or my OG gameboy, so fucking solitaire it was.
