Ace Attorney is still BY FUCKING FAR the best game in the series, the Steel Samurai case is absolute shit but the rest of them are good, nothing in the entire franchise comes close to Rise From The Ashes

And one of the Ace Attorney games, but I can't decide which one and didn't just want to put 3 different ones on my list.

I hid the 1 because the last 3 games I listed ended in a 2 and JFA used to be considered the worst game in the series so it wouldn't be inconceivable that underneath the spoiler was a '2'.

With that said, AA1 is probably the best game but 1-5 isn't even in the top 3 cases in the game.

1-4, 2-4, and 3-5 are all better. 4-1 and I2-5 are probably on par with it too. I like 1-5 a lot but it has some really bad pacing issues and lacks the emotional impact of the top 3.

It has giant problems in the meta, but I think it's a very enjoyable game regardless. If they fixed the netcode, maybe released it on PS4 so it isn't being held back by the PS3's ram limitations (hence every tournament using the 360 version because it ran better), way more people would still play it.

Same, just replace Megaman X with the original RE.

CAPCOM was near invincible in the 90's. My God. How the mighty have fallen.

Not that guy, but I ultimately didn't like 3-5 after the Edgeworth vs Franziska segment. Psyche-Lock spam out the ass, Mia hijacking the finishing off of Dahlia, and the unraveling of the events did a better job of further painting Godot as a petty and irrational asshole than some kind of tragic hero. He informs almost anyone present about the plans he discovered and Misty wouldn't have been dead. Just left a real bad taste in my mouth. Favorite case from that game is 3-2, and my top three series-wide would still be 2-4, 1-5 and 1-4, in that order.

To clarify, I mean everything after that segment I mentioned was a letdown, not that segment itself. That was pretty great.
