Alright, Cred Forums. We have our iconic classic songs, but what are some games from this gen with great music? Post em here.
This song basically sold the game for me. I think this style of rock/swing suits Bowser pretty damn well.

Nights of Azure's soundtrack is fantastic.
God damn. This is pretty awesome.
I have never heard of this game, but god damn that was awesome. That first song was neo-classical as fuck
Fuck you guys, the music was great

this song has no right being as catchy as it is
>Don't love any track in this thread that much
>Can't think of any new track I like a lot
welp, thanks for showing me a hole in my life Cred Forums
what are some current gen games you've played that you like?
I thought it was fantastic as well. Some of the vocal tracks we're good too. I will admit that the majority of vocal stuff turned me off though. ESPECIALLY that one engrish guy. The rap lyrics were just...I don't know, man. WAY more hit than miss though on this soundtrack.

Gives that old airship feel
Oh yeah. This is catchy as fuck.
All pretty damn good. Kirby games have some fantastic music, god damn.

whoever says electric guitars can't improve a song doesn't know shit
this is a song to take on an army singlehandedly to
That was pleasant as hell. Loved it.
Oh yeah, man. I loved this soundtrack. Especially the guitar version of "Eclipse of the Moon"
>whoever says electric guitars can't improve a song doesn't know shit
People who say shit like that clearly show no knowledge of composition and have no idea how instruments can compliment each other in different ways
One of the best final boss themes I've ever heard.

this entire OST is gold, but this one stands at the top for me. the live version is just that much better
I like to compare X's music and XC's music like graphs. XC is like a straight line and X is like a sine wave where the peaks are higher than the line but the peaks that go into the negative are comparably low as well
You can say what you want about Awakening, but ID Purpose is a GOAT song.

This is the first song you hear in the game. Couldn't put it down until I finished the whole thing

>We will definitely defeat Dark Matter! I swear it!
I have never played this game or the sequel and it's still one of my all-time favorite OSTs ever. Seriously, the melodies are so well done and catchy.
The soundtrack in this game was great. I've covered this song and a few from fates as well. Really great melodies.
Wow, that was pretty.
I agree, man. Funny how that worked. Hoping we get good mid-high mix at the very least in the next game.
Say what you will about Mighty No. 9 but that final boss theme was pretty great.
>Dark Matter 02
Wait what? No relation to the Kirby games? Amazing song btw. I was never a huge fan of mainline Pokemon music, but the mystery dungeon songs have some great tracks.

This whole game's soundtrack is GOAT.
Love this style of music. Never heard of this game. Will definitely check it out.
No relation, might have been a translation quirk. And it's just Dark Matter, the boss fight has two phases with different tracks.

Took me completely by surprise.
Ah, I see. Well damn, dude. This is probably my favorite song so far in the whole thread. Thanks for showing me this.
Good taste.

KI:U has a legitimately phenomenal OST. These 3 aren't even what I consider the best. If you have some hours to kill I highly recommend listening to the full thing.
>not liking Sawanorap
It's so incredibly cheesy it kinda grew on me. The kind of shit you would sing in the car, but not anywhere people would remember you.
