it's not good for easy missions, but with hammer's Iron Heart properties (from lvl 3) and projectile immunity, it wrecks any remotely hard boss fight in the game. Give it a try later down the line.

Get to the Dyaus Pita fight at least. That's one of the highlights of GER.

GER is also set up in a what that lower tier aragami are eventually phased out for their Fallen and Deusphage counterparts. So you'll eventually stop fighting basic Kongous, Chi-Yous, Borg Camlanns and Vajras. It gives you a better sense of progression but it does make the already limited GER monster roster feel a bit smaller. Rage Burst isn't set up this way and you'll be fighting those guys all the way through.

It is like monster hunter but its more focused on the combat of the monster I'd argue, you string combos, you use bullets, you power up all sorts of powers and status effects and use these things to combat a single monster, each one of them having their own strengths and weakness and weakpoints and quirks.

The battles happen a LOT faster than in Monster Hunter, everything is fast pace, missions can only really last half an hour but if you're not on a difficult fight or know what you're doing you rarely need that long because the Aragami prefer to stand and fight rather than run and avoid you like in MH.

It has a much much bigger focus on story, and if I can be an autismo as stupid as the game and its concept is the story does get pretty great at times and the characters are often pretty fantastic, personal favorites are Lindow, Gilbert, Kota starts really annoying and you toward the end get a lot of respect for his character.

And I know a lot of people hate Alisa but her story is alright in GER and she actually gets pretty damn good in GE2 when she grows up a bit.

Anyway point is, its MH but its faster, its more focused on individual combos and combat style, it has a huge focus on story and character and finally and most importantly it has lots of tits and agonizingly beautiful women in it.

Does that sound interesting to you? if yes, purchase God Eater.

I would like her slutty design more if she were in a different setting. Anime always kills my suspension of disbelief when they throw people into into intense military situations as as elite combatants but have them dress like they're at a rave. Ghost in the shell didnit right, Major had some sexy costumes but usually geared up when in real combat. I also hate alisa's personality. She is a liability to her team more often than not nad is mentally unstable, wven if she can be a tactical asset, she breaks at critical times. Still fap to her though.

You won't be crafting armor. Clothing in God Eater is purely cosmetic. You do, however, make weapons/guns/shields (and equip one of each at all times) out of monsters, and the shield gives your defense value even when not guarding
On the one hand, no cool enemy themed outfits. On the other hand, it means endgame isn't stupid looking clownsuits, and you can wear whatever you like without feeling like you're gimping yourself
Combat is a LOT faster than in MonHun - it's not as weighty and purposeful, more in&out comboy I guess? Not good at explaining this part.
There are no gathering/capture/etc quests. Everything is hunt the monster, and very few are hunt the small monster (those being at the beginning).
Big focus on story - the missions to progress are even called story missions, and frequently have small cutscense before or afterwards with the NPCs. Speaking of, you have NPCs that tag along with you, who are reasonably competent at fighting. There is no separation between multiplayer or singleplayer, either - just the list of missions, which you can either do yourself with NPCs, solo (though story missions usually make you bring some people with you), or with other people (and fill out other slots with NPCs if you want)

So have you only seen the anime? This stops being a problem about 20% into the game when your character personally trains her to stop being a fuckup. By the time GE2 rolls around she's running multiple shelters for civilians while still performing her monster killing duties.

No excuse for the outfit though, that's how GE wants to roll.

To be fair to the story, there is literally no reason to wear armour in the war against the Aragami. Armour does nothing the only thing that can remotely protect you is being fused with a God-Arc and those don't require you to carry any ammo so wearing intense gear would be pretty dumb because you need to run and move fast in the fights against them.

I get it, Alisa should wear a bra but at the same time, I really don't give a shit nigga, its a fictional animu story where teenagers carry weapons 4 times larger than them and Scottish men dress like they just came out of Persona 4.

No, the mangas are actually canon and they explain things between games, -2nd- break was released before GE2 in order to show who is Yuno and everyone else or how alisa got the idea of the bases, Undercover focus on Yuu and the presentation of the Kyuubi and the defense force coming back. There is also some Light novels and a manga about Soma past, basically before GE1. You also have a spin off, summer wars in order to reinforce that Yuu x Alisa, it happens after the first arc of GE1, they even released the swimsuits.

In Rage Burst everything is about the same for the most part. Melee weapons a bit more variance but guns on the whole have an even split of pierce/crush besides a couple of outliners. Weapons with element bonuses have a bit less raw damage than neutral weapons.

Resurrection have a wider dispersal of numbers with some extreme examples like the Arbalest and Gravegun.

Can't speak for multi since I'm playing on PC, but for Blood Arts you just equip one then it augments it's respective attack.

They're sorted by which attack they change, so like the first 3 will change every hit of your basic square button combo in the ways described.

You can tell if a blood art is being used during the game by a red graphical effect accompanying the attack.

They don't give level 10 skills automatically, but they DO draw from the best pool of skills, including the 4in1s.
One of the first I got in D15 was a L9 4in1...but half were ones that needed to be 10 to do anything

If you need the compound skills to install on your arcs, the best missions to grind them are any of the hard D15 survival missions. They have by far the highest chance to give you high rarity AGA's.

Damn, my partymembers sure die fast in hard rank 15 missions. Guess its time to think about which skills I give them, seems like that one skill where you survive a lethal blow is a must have now.

They do just fine with HP5 and Damage Cut4. Firm Stand is a must if you're bringing them to Perilous Challenge missions or Crimson Orochi though.

Firm Stand can get messy if they get wombo comboed before they heal up from 1 HP.

I can see where he might be coming from. The Blood Captain is wasted sat in the Far East cleaning up psions and deusphages like an errand girl. Cradle handles tougher stuff like new species and someone like her would add a lot to their combat potential and efficiency.

It's under Exchange Inventory/Exchange Storage so that the consumables don't get buried under the massive list of materials to be crafted (and so the craftable materials list doesn't end up with having to scroll through the consumables first)

2 and 3 don't clash. everything after 5 is extra damage. You can get rid of the 2nd orb but then you have to space out the following shots by 1 and 2 seconds after 2 and that makes things far too slow for my tastes.

Well over half the damage of a Super Range based HDH out of the same gun at half the OP cost and it scales better with Frugal and Trigger Happy. As far as alternatives go it's working out well for me.

Depends on the game.

In Rage Burst, just go with whatever you can get your hands on. Skills in that game are a mess and you're better off focusing on keeping your weapons' attack and your shield's defense as high as possible until you start getting lv10 skills and setting up a good build.

Resurrection is a lot better in the skills department because every weapon, gun, shield and upgrade part you make will have it's corresponding skill maxed out, so its easier to pick and choose what you want to go with.

You can start crafting bullets from the get go but Rage Burst gates most of the really good effects behind blood bullets, which are locked behind Ciel's character episode and require you to level up your guns. In Resurrection most of those Blood effects are locked to certain bullets but you have a lot more options on what you want your gun to fire.

The game's database does an excellent job of explaining all the game systems. Give it a read if you're confused about anything.

Who can get you to burst 3 in ge3rb?

Here everyone's a fucking cheapskate or gives you only level 1

You eventually get support units that give you level 3 Burst 30 seconds into the mission then at 2, 5 and you can make one for 10 minutes into the mission.

The problem then becomes maintaining it.

make sure you ACTUALLY use the condensed bullets

they'll be more open to giving you more till you can burst 3

I think people are ignoring flashbangs too much in GE2, specially solo so you can get a safe bite if you are low in burst. Or even traps, hell tools exists.

That difficulty spike is gigantic. NPCs are dying way more often when that's a really rare occurence in Standard.

How do I keep them alive? Do I give them healing PAs? Or should I start using heal bullets?
