As soon as I am done with current "batch" of items / unlocks, they release new things, and it starts to drive me crazy.

I mean ffs, I don't even grind "manually", I bought CronusPro just for this game, to automate this shit and reduce 15 minute RCQ vacations to 1 button press, and even then it's still tedious as fuck...

Don't let other numbers you find fool you. TN puts polygons on everything but the body. Shin guards and tassels have more polygons than than the character's hands.

I think that one CoD game was bragging about using it to make gunsights smoother like it was something novel, right next to the revolutionary fish AI that moves away from you.

They need to take that tech and use it to make butts smoother.

Has DOAX3 been patched yet? Apparently the new costumes when installed crash the game whenever exiting to the main menu, so when you finish a vacation too it will crash.

I mean, sure, but as the only 3D fightan that I have any casual experience (emphasis on casual) in is "le superior limb based combat fightan" I would like to know the character that plays to the basics of the combat. I think that once I get a handle on that, then I'll see who I want to git gud with.

After a certain point there is very little point to adding more polygons to a model. You don't get a very big improvement.

The biggest advances these days come from shaders, lighting, and things like SSS in making character models look good.
