From combat and berserk really don´t mix.

And there is not much more to from games than the combat.

But Souls games are literally the only games that have ever had enjoyable melee weapon combat.
Even if they don't "mix" (and I don't see why they wouldn't), it's still better to have good and enjoyable combat that doesn't fit, than crappy combat.
